ଆମୋଷ 1:9-10

9 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

10 But I will send a fire on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces thereof.

9 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି: ଆମ୍ଭେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ସୋରର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଅପରାଧ କରିଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ସମଗ୍ର ଜାତିକୁ ନଇଗେଲେଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ରୀତଦାସ ରୂପେ ଇଦୋମକୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବନ୍ଧୁତ୍ବ ଚୁକ୍ତିକୁ ମନେ ପକାଇ ନଥିଲେ।

10 ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସୋରର ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକା ନିକଟକୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିବା। ସହେି ଅଗ୍ନି ସୋରର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାଗୁଡିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିଦବେ।
