ତା'ପରେ, ତାହାର ଭ୍ରାତା ଏଷୌର ଗୋଇଠି ଧରି ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲା। ଏଣୁକରି ତାହାର ନାମ ଯାକୁବ ଦିଆଗଲା। ଇସ୍ହାକଙ୍କର ଷାଠିଏ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ରେ ଏହି ୟାଆଁଳା ପୁତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ହେଲେ।
