ଦିତୀୟ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 19:1-8

1 And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.

2 And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.

3 And the people gat them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.

4 But the king covered his face, and the king cried with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!

5 And Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines;

6 In that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.

7 Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the Lord, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.

8 Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.

1 ସଲାକମାଲନସଯାୟାବକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏ ଖବର ଜଣାଇଲଲ।ସସମାଲନସଯାୟାବକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲଲ, ସଦଖନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରାଜା ଅବଶାସଲାମ ପାଇଁ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଶୋକ ମଧ୍ଯ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

2 ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସୌନ୍ଯଦଳସସଦିନ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧସର ଜଯଲାଭ କଲଲ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଯଲାଭ କରିବାର ଆନନ୍ଦ ସମସ୍ତସଲାକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖସର ପରିଣତସହଲା। ଏହା ଥିଲା ଏକ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖର ଦିନ, କାରଣସଲାକମାଲନ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲଲସଯ, "ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ନିଜ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଃଖିତ।"

3 ସୈନ୍ଯମାଲନ ନଗରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପ୍ରଲବଶ କରୁଥିଲଲ,ସଯପରିସସମାନଙ୍କର ପରାସ୍ତ ସୈନିକମାଲନ ଲଜ୍ଜା ବସତଃ ନଗରସର ପ୍ରଲବଶ କରନ୍ତି।

4 ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ମକ୍ସ୍ଟହଁକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଢାଙ୍କି ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ବରସର କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲଲ, "ସହସମାର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଅବଶାସଲାମ,ସହସମାର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଅବଶାସଲାମ।"

5 ସଯାୟାବ ରାଜ ଗୃହସର ପ୍ରଲବଶ କରି ରାଜାଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲା, ଆପଣ ଆଜି ଆପଣଙ୍କର ପଦସ୍ଥ କର୍ମଗ୍ଭରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆପଣସସଇ ପଦସ୍ଥ କର୍ମଗ୍ଭରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅପମାନିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି,ସଯଉଁମାଲନ ଆଜି ଆପଣଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର, କନ୍ଯା, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଉପପତ୍ନୀମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି।

6 କାରଣସଯଉଁମାଲନ ଆପଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି ଆପଣସସମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ସରମ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ଆପଣସସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି,ସଯଉଁମାଲନ ଆପଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି। ଏବଂସସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି,ସଯଉଁମାଲନ ଆପଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି। ମୁ ଆଜିସଦଖକ୍ସ୍ଟଛି,ସଯ ଯଦି ଆଜି ଆମ୍ଲଭମାଲନ ସମସ୍ଲତ ମରିଥାନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ଅବଶାସଲାମ ଜୀବିତ ଥାନ୍ତାସତଲବ ଆପଣ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟସିସହାଇଥାନ୍ତଲ।

7 ଏଲବ ଉଠନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ, ଆପଣଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଏବଂସସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଜନକ କଥା କକ୍ସ୍ଟହନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ। ମୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମସର ଶପଥ କରୁଅଛିସଯଲବ ଆପଣ ବାହାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ୟାଆନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନାହିଁ,ସତଲବ ଏହି ରାତ୍ରିସର ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସହିତସକହି ଜଲଣସହଲଲବି ରହିଲବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ୟୌବନକାଳାବଧି ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତସଯଲତ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଆପଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଘଟିଅଛିସସଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକରୁ ହିଁ ଏହି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟର୍ଘଟଣା ବଡସହବ।

8 ଏହାପଲର ରାଜା ଉଠି ନଗର ଦ୍ବାରସର ବସିଲଲ, ଏ ଖବର ଗ୍ଭରିଆଲଡ ପ୍ରଗ୍ଭରିତସହାଇଗଲାସଯ ରାଜା ନଗରଦ୍ବାର ନିକଟଲର ବସିଛନ୍ତି।ସତଣୁ ସମସ୍ତସଲାକ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟସଦଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲଲ।
Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
