ତେଣୁ ଦାଉଦ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରି କହିଲେ ସେ କଦାପି ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ପରିବାରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତା'ପରେ ଶାଉଲ ଗୃହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଫରେିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟର୍ଗକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇଗଲେ।
