ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହେଲ। ତାଙ୍କର ପରିଗ୍ଭରକଗଣ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଉଷ୍ଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ କମ୍ବଳ ଓ ବହୁ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦାନ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ କିଛି ଉଷ୍ଣତା ପାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ।

କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କୌଣସି ସନ୍ତାନସନ୍ତତି ନଥିଲେ। ଏଲୀଶାବେଥ ବନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ଥିଲେ। ଉଭୟେ ଜିଖରିୟ ଓ ଏଲୀଶାବେଥ ବୁଢା ବୁଢୀ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଥିଲେ।
