Numbers 3:5-39 in Oriya

5 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.

7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.

8 And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.

10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

11 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;

13 Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the Lord.

14 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

15 Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.

16 And Moses numbered them according to the word of the Lord, as he was commanded.

17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.

18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.

19 And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

20 And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.

21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.

22 Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.

23 The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.

24 And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.

25 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.

27 And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

28 In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.

30 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

31 And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.

32 And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.

33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.

34 And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.

35 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.

36 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,

37 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.

38 But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the Lord, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.

5 ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ,
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

6 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲବେୀ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆଣି ହାରୋଣ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଅ, ସମାନେେ ତାହାର ସବୋ କରିବେ।
Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.

7 ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁ ନିକଟରେ ରକ୍ଷକ ହବେେ। ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସମାଜ ପାଇଁ ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ପବିତ୍ର ଛାଉଣୀର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ।
And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.

8 ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁର ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯର ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସବୋ କରିବେ।
And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

9 ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦବେ। ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉପହାର ରୂପେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦିଆଗଲା।
And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.

10 ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହାରୋଣ, ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଯାଜକରୂପେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତି କରିବ। ସମାନେେ ଯାଜକରୂପେ ସବୋ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବେ। ଯଦି କୌଣସି ବିଦେଶୀ ପାଖକୁ ଆ ସେ, ତାକୁ ଆଇନ ସଙ୍ଗତ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବ।
And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

11 ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ,
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

12 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିଥିଲି ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବଂଶର ପ୍ରଥମ ଜାତ ମାରେ ସବେକ ହବେ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ମାରେ ଅଧିକୃତ, ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ଜାତ ପରିବର୍ତେ ଲବେୀୟମାନେ ମାରେ ହବେେ।
And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;

13 ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଶର ରେ ଥିଲ, ସେତବେେଳେ ମୁଁ ମିଶରୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଥିଲି। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ରେ ସମସ୍ତ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଓ ପଶୁର ପ୍ରଥମଜାତକୁ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ପବିତ୍ର କଲି। ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମାରେ ଅଧିକୃତ। ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଟେ।
Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the Lord.

14 ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୀନଯ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ ପୁଣି କହିଲେ,
And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

15 ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଅନୁସାରେ ଗଣନା କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତ ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ଏକ ମାସରୁ ଅଧିକ ବଯସ୍କ ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.

16 ତେଣୁ ମାଶାେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅନୁସାରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ।
And Moses numbered them according to the word of the Lord, as he was commanded.

17 ଲବେୀର ତିନିପୁତ୍ର ଥିଲେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନାମ ହେଲା ଗେର୍ଶୋନ,କାହାତ୍ ଓ ମରାରି।
And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.

18 ଗେର୍ଶୋନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ନାମ ଲାବନି ଓ ଶିମିଯି।
And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.

19 ପୁଣି ଆପଣା ବଂଶ ଅନୁସାରେ କାହାତର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ନାମ ଅମ୍ରମ, ୟିଷହର, ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ଓ ଉଷୀଯଲେ।
And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

20 ପୁଣି ଆପଣା ବଂଶ ଅନୁସାରେ ମରାରିର ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ନାମ ମହଲି ଓ ମୂଶି।
And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.

21 ଗେର୍ଶୋନଠାରୁ ଲିବନି ବଂଶ ଓ ଶିମିଯିର ବଂଶ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେଲେ, ଏମାନେ ଗେର୍ଶୋନୀଯ ବଂଶ।
Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.

22 ଏମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଓ ଏକମାସରୁ ଅଧିକ ବଯସ୍କ ବାଳକ ଗଣନା ଅନୁସାରେ 7,500 ହେଲେ।
Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.

23 ଗେର୍ଶୋନୀଯ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଦିଗ ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁର ପଶ୍ଚାତ ଭାଗ ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.

24 ପୁଣି ଲାଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଯାସଫ ଗେର୍ଶୋନୀଯ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଅଧିପତି ଥିଲା।
And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.

25 ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁ ରେ ଗେର୍ଶୋନର ପରିବାରର କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ଯ ଥିଲା, ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁର ଛାତ ଏବଂ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁର ଫାଟକର ଆଛାଦନ କନାର ଯତ୍ନ ନବୋ।
And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,

26 ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁର ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣ ରେ ଓ ବଦେୀ ରେ ଥିବା ପରଦାର, ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣର ପ୍ରବେଶ ଫାଟକର ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ରଜ୍ଜୁର ଯତ୍ନ ନେଲେ।
And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.

27 ପୁଣି କହାତ୍ଠାରୁ ଅମ୍ରମୀଯ ବଂଶ ୟିଷ୍ହରୀଯ ବଂଶ, ଦିବ୍ରୋଣୀଯ ବଂଶ ଓ ଉଷୀଯଲେୀଯ ବଂଶ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେଲେ। ଏମାନେ କହାତୀଯ ବଂଶ ହେଲେ।
And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

28 ଏକ ମାସରୁ ଅଧିକ ବଯସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ଯା କହାତୀଯ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର 8,300 ଓ ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନର ରକ୍ଷକ ରୂପେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ ହେଲେ।
In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

29 କହାତୀଯ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଦିଗ ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ନିକଟରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.

30 ଇଲୀପାପନ୍ ଉଷୀଯଲରେ ପୁତ୍ର କହାତୀଯ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଅଧିପତି ହବେ।
And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

31 ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦୂକ, ମଜେ,ଦୀପରୁଖା, ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ, ପବିତ୍ରସ୍ଥାନର ସବୋ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀଯ ସକଳପାତ୍ର, ଏବଂ ପରଦା ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦାଯ୍ବିତ୍ବ ରେ ରହିବ।
And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.

32 ଯାଜକ ହାରୋଣର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲିଯାସର ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତି। ସେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ବିଷଯର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ତତ୍ତ୍ବାବଧାନ କରିବ।
And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.

33 ମହଲୀଯ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ଏବଂ ମୂଶୀଯ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ମରାରୀଯଠାରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେଲେ। ଏମାନେ ମରାରୀଯ ପରିବାର ଅନ୍ତଭୁର୍କ୍ତ।
Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.

34 ପୁଣି ଏମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଏକ ମାସରୁ ଅଧିକ ବଯସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ଗଣନା ଅନୁସାରେ 6,200 ଲୋକ ହେଲେ।
And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.

35 ଆଉ ଅବୀହଯଲର ପୁତ୍ର ସୂରୀଯଲେ ମରାରି ପରିବାରବର୍ଗର ଅଧିପତି। ସମାନେେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଗ ରେ ଆବାସ ନିକଟରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.

36 ମରାରି ପରିବାରର ସଭ୍ଯମାନେ କାଠପଟାଗୁଡିକ, ଅର୍ଗଳଗୁଡିକ, ସ୍ତମ୍ଭସମସ୍ତ, ଭିତ୍ତିସମସ୍ତ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟସମସ୍ତ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଏବଂ ଏହି ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ବହନ କରିବେ।
And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,

37 ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ, ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ, ଖିଲ ଏବଂ ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଯାହା ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣ ରେ ବ୍ଯବହାର ହୁଏ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତର ଦାଯିତ୍ବ ନବେେ।
And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.

38 ମାଶାେ, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ତାହାର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ଆବାସର ତମ୍ବୁସବୁ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁର ପୂର୍ବଦିଗ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ରସ୍ଥାନର ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ। ଯଦି କୌଣସି ବିଦେଶୀ ଏହା ପାଖକୁ ୟାଏ, ତାକୁ ମୁତ୍ଯୁଦଣ୍ତ ଦିଆୟିବ।

39 ମାଶାେ ଓ ହାରୋଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ରେ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ। ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏକ ମାସରୁ ଅଧିକ ବଯସ୍କ ସମସ୍ତ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ଯା 2,200 ହେଲେ।
