Matthew 5 - WEB (Oriya)
1 Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ଯା କ୍ରମଶଃ ବଢିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା। ଏହା ଦେଖି ଯୀଶୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାହାଡ ଉପରକୁ ଗଲେ ଏବଂ ସଠାେରେ ବସିଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
2 He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,ଏଥର ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଉପଦେଶ ଦବୋ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ,
3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.ଆତ୍ମି ରେ ଦିନହୀନ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ, କାରଣ ସ୍ବର୍ରାଜ୍ଯ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କର।
4 Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଦୁଃଖିତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ଦବେେ।
5 Blessed are the gentle, For they shall inherit the earth.ନମ୍ର ଓ ସୁଶୀଳ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ; କାରଣ ଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କର ହବେ।
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, For they shall be filled.ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ସତ୍କର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ଆଗ୍ରହୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ସଂମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ତୃପ୍ତି ଲାଭ କରିବେ।
7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା ଦଖାେଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ; କାରଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା କରିବେ।
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.ନିର୍ମଳ ହୃଦୟ ଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ; କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବେ।
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called children of God.ଶାନ୍ତ ପାଇଁ କାମ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ, କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନ ଭାବେ ଡକାଯିବେ।
10 Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ଧର୍ମକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି କଷ୍ଟ ସହୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ଧନ୍ଯ; କାରଣ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରାଜ୍ଯ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କର।
11 "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହାଇେଥିବା ୟୋଗୁଁ ଲୋକେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅପମାନ ଦବେେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯାତନା ଦବେେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ମିଛ ରେ ନାନା କଥା କହିବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଧନ୍ଯ।
12 Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.ତେଣୁ ଖୁସି ହାଇେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କର। କାରଣ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏକ ମହତ୍ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବ। ତାମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହି ଭଳି ଯାତନା ଦଇେଥିଲେ।
13 "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମଗ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀ ପାଇଁ ଲୁଣ ସଦୃଶ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୁଣ ଯଦି ନିଦେ ସ୍ବାଦହୀନ ହାଇଯୋଏ, ତବେେ ତାକୁ ଆଉଥରେ ଲୁଣିଆ କରା ଯାଇ ନପା ରେ। ଲୁଣ ଆପଣା ଲୁଣିଆ ସ୍ବାଦ ହରାଇଲେ ଆଉ କୌଣସି କାମ ରେ ଲାଗିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତାକୁ ବାହା ରେ ଫିଙ୍ଗି ଦିଆୟିବ। ଲୋକେ ତାକୁ ପାଦ ରେ ଚକଟି ଗ୍ଭଲିଯିବେ।
14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden.ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଗତର ଆଲୋକ। ପାହାଡ ଉପରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ କୌଣସି ନଗରକୁ କବେେ ହେଲେ ଲୁଚଇେ ରଖାଯାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
15 Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.ଲୋକେ ଦୀପଟିଏ ଜଳଇେ ତାକୁ ହାଣ୍ଡି ରଖନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ଲୋକେ ତାକୁ ଦୀପରୂଖା ଉପରେ ରଖନ୍ତି। ତଦ୍ବାରା ଦୀପଟି ଘର ଭିତରର ସବୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆଲୋକ ଦିଏ।
16 Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଲୋକ ଭଳି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଅ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭଲ କାମଗୁଡିକ ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ ଓ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରେ ରହୁଥିବା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମ ପିତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରନ୍ତୁ।
17 "Don't think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn't come to destroy, but to fulfill.ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭାବନାହିଁ ଯେ ମୁଁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା କିଅବା ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଛି। ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପଦେଶ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିନାହିଁ। ବରଂ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପଦେଶଗୁଡିକର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅର୍ଥ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଛି।
18 For most assuredly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter{literally, iota} or one tiny pen stroke{or, serif} shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସତ୍ଯ କହୁଛି, ଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ଆକାଶ ସମାପ୍ତ ନ ହବୋ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଓ ସବୁ କଥା ନ ଘଟିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଏହି ନିୟମରୁ ଅକ୍ଷରଟିଏ କି ବନ୍ଦୁଟିଏ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଲୋପ ପାଇବନାହିଁ।
19 Whoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.ଏଣୁ ଲୋକେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଆଦେଶ ମାନିବା ଉଚିତ, ଏପରିକି ମହତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦଖାେ ଯାଉ ନଥିବା େଛାଟ ଆଦେଶଟିଏ ମଧ୍ଯ ମାନିବା ଉଚିତ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଆଦେଶ ପାଳିବାକୁ ମନାକରେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ ନ ପାଳିବାକୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦିଏ, ସେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ଅତି ନ୍ଯୁନ ବୋଲି ଗଣିତ ହବୋ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ସେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ମାନେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ମାନି ଚଳିବାକୁ ଶିଖାଏ, ସେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ମହାନ୍ ହବେ।
20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା ଅନୁସାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଧର୍ମ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀ ମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆଗଇେ ଯାଅ। ତା ନ ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିପାପିବ ନାହିଁ।
21 "You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, 'You shall not murder;' and 'Whoever shall murder shall be in danger of the judgment.'ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଛ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହାୟାଇଥିଲା: 'ନରହତ୍ଯା କର ନାହିଁ। ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ନରହତ୍ଯା କରେ, ସେ ବିଗ୍ଭରସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବିଗ୍ଭରିତ ହବେ।'
22 But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca{"Raca" is an Aramaic insult, related to the word for "empty" and conveying the idea of empty-headedness.}!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehenna{Gehenna is another name for Hell that brings to mind an image of a burning garbage dump with dead bodies in it.}.କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟ
23 "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଦାନ ଆଣ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଚିନ୍ତା କର। ଯଦି ବଦେୀ ଉପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଦାନ ଦବୋ ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନେ ପଡିଯାଏ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ କାହାର କିଛି କଥା ଅଛି,
24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଦାନ ସହେିଠା ରେ ଛାଡି ଦଇେ ସହେି ଲୋକଟି ପାଖକୁ ଯାଅ ଏବଂ ତା ସହିତ ଶାନ୍ତି ସ୍ଥାପନ କିର, ତା'ପରେ ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଦାନ ଅର୍ପଣ କର।
25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him in the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତୃ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଗ୍ଭରାଳୟକୁ ନଇେ ଯାଉଅଛି ତବେେ ବିଗ୍ଭରାଳୟ ୟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତା' ସହିତ ଶୀଘ୍ର ବନ୍ଧୁତା ସ୍ଥାପନ କର। ନଚତେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତୃ ବିଗ୍ଭରପତିଙ୍କ ହାତ ରେ ଦଇଦେବ ଓ ଶଷେ ରେ ବିଗ୍ଭରପତି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସିପାହୀ ହାତ ରେ ଦବେେ, ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାରାଗାର ରେ ବନ୍ଦୀ ହାଇେ ୟିବ।
26 Most assuredly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there, until you have paid the last penny.{Literally, kodrantes. A kodrantes was a small copper coin worth about 2 lepta (widow's mites)--not enough to buy very much of anything.}ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସତ୍ଯ କହୁଛି, ଯେଉଁ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାହୁଲା-ପାହୁଲା କରି ନ ଶୁଝିଛ, ସେ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ କାରାଗାର ଭିତରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ ।
27 "You have heard that it was said, {TR adds "to the ancients,"} 'You shall not commit adultery;'ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏ କଥା କୁହା ଯାଇଥିବାର ଶୁଣିଛ ଯେ, 'ବ୍ଯଭିଗ୍ଭର କରନାହିଁ।'
28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ଯଦି କହେି ଲୋକ କୌଣସି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀକୁ ଦେଖେ ଓ ତା ସହିତ ବ୍ଯଭିଗ୍ଭର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଗ୍ଭ ହେଁ, ତବେେ ସେ ନିଜ ମନ ଭତ ରେ ସହେି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ବ୍ଯଭିଗ୍ଭର କରି ସାରିଲାଣି।
29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଡାହାଣ ଆଖି ତୁମ୍ଭର ପାପର
30 If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not your whole body be thrown into Gehenna.ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଡାହାଣ ହାତଟି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାପର କାରଣ ହୁଏ, ତାକୁ କାଟି ଫିଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶରୀର ନର୍କ ରେ ପଡିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶରୀରର ଗୋଟିଏ ଅଙ୍ଗ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇଯେିବା ଭଲ।
31 "It was also said, 'Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,'ଏକଥା ମଧ୍ଯ କୁହାୟାଇଛି ଯେ, ' ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତାର ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ଦିଏ, ସେ ତା ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ଲିଖିତ ରୁପରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ସୂଚନା ଦବେ।'
32 but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ଯଦି କହେି ନିଜର ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ଦିଏ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ବ୍ଯଭିଗ୍ଭର ଦୋଷ ରେ ଦୋଷୀ କରିଥାଏ। ଯଦି ତାହାର ପତ୍ନୀ ଅନ୍ୟ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସହିତ ୟୌନ ସଂପର୍କ ରଖିଥାଏ, ତବେେ କବଳେ ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ଦଇେ ପାରିବ। ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଛାଡପତ୍ର ପାଇଥିବା ସହେି ପତ୍ନୀକୁ ବିବାହ କରେ ତବେେ ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବ୍ଯଭିଗ୍ଭର ପାପରେ ଦୋଷୀ ହୁଏ।
33 "Again you have heard that it was said to them of old time, 'You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,'ଏକଥା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଛ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହାୟାଇ ଥିଲା: 'ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କରିଥିବା ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କବେେ ହେଲେ ଭାଙ୍ଗ ନାହିଁ ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ସହେି ସବୁ ପାଳନ କର।'
34 but I tell you, don't swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଛି ଯେ, ଆଦୌ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରନାହିଁ। ସ୍ବର୍ଗର ନାମ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତାହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିଂହାସନ।
35 nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.ପୃଥିବୀ ନାମ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ନିଅନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତାହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ପାଦ ପୀଠ। ୟିରୂଶାଲମ ନାମ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ନିଅ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତାହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନଗରୀ।
36 Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can't make one hair white or black.ନିଜ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଛୁଇଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ନିଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ତା'ର ଗୋଟିଏ ବାଳକୁ ବି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କଳା ବା ଧଳା କରି ପାରିବନାହିଁ।
37 But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'no.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଠିକ୍ ମନେ କରୁଛ ତବେେ ହଁ କୁହ ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଭୁଲ ବୋଲି ମନେ କରୁଛ ତବେେ ନା କୁହ। 'ହଁ' ବା 'ନାଁ' ଠାରୁ ଅଧିକା ବିଷୟ ପାପାତ୍ମା ଠାରୁ ଆସିଥାଏ।
38 "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଛ ଯେ ଏକଥା କୁହା ଯାଇଛି: 'ଆଖି ବଦଳ ରେ ଆଖି ଓ ଦାନ୍ତ ବଦଳ ରେ ଦାନ୍ତ।'
39 But I tell you, don't resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହୁଛି ଯେ କୌଣସି ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅନାହିଁ। ବରଂ ଯଦି କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଡାହାଣ ଗାଲ ରେ ଗ୍ଭପୁଡାଟିଏ ମା ରେ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା ଆଡକୁ ଆର ଗାଲଟି ମଧ୍ଯ ଦେଖଇେ ଦିଅ।
40 If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.ଯଦି କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ବିଗ୍ଭରାଳୟ ରେ ମକଦ୍ଦମା କରି ତୁମ୍ଭର କୁର୍ତ୍ତାଟି ନବୋକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରେ, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗ୍ଭଦରଟି ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ଦିଅ।
41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.ଯଦି କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତା ସହିତ ଗୋଟିଏ କୋଶ ଗ୍ଭଲିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କରେ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା ସହିତ ଦୁଇ କୋଶ ଗ୍ଭଲି ଯାଅ।
42 Give to him who asks you, and don't turn away him who desires to borrow from you.ଯଦି କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କିଛି ମାଗେ, ତବେେ ତାହା ତାହାକୁ ଦିଅ। କହେି ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଧାର ନବୋକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛାକରେ, ତବେେ ତା ହକେୁ ମନା କରନାହିଁ।
43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଛ ଯେ ଏକଥା କୁହା ଯାଇଛି: 'ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କର ଓ ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କର।'
44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କହୁଛି: ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତୃକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ ରମେ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାତନା ଦେଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପାର୍ଥନା କର।
45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.ତା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରେ ରହୁଥିବା ପରମପିତାଙ୍କ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ସନ୍ତାନ ହାଇେ ପାରିବ। ପରମପିତା, ଭଲ ଲୋକ ଓ ମନ୍ଦ ଲୋକ ଉଭୟଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯଙ୍କୁ ଉଦିତ କରାନ୍ତି। ସେ ଭଲ କାମ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକ ଓ ମନ୍ଦ କାମ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକ, ଉଭୟଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ବର୍ଷା ବର୍ଷାନ୍ତି।
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same?ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି କବଳେ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିବ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କୌଣସି ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବନାହିଁ? ଏପରିକି କରଆଦାୟକାରୀ ମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏହା କରନ୍ତି?
47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same?ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବଳେ ନିଜ ଭାଇ- ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମସ୍କାର କର ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ କ'ଣ ଅଧିକ କଲ? ବିଧର୍ମୀମାନେ କ'ଣ ଏଭଳି କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି?
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.ଏଣୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରେ ରହୁଥିବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମପିତା ଯେପରି ସିଦ୍ଧ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେିପରି ସିଦ୍ଧ ହୁଅ।
