וּלְקַחְתֶּ֨ם ye oo-leh-kahk-TEM לָכֶ֜ם shall la-HEM בַּיּ֣וֹם take BA-yome הָֽרִאשׁ֗וֹן you ha-ree-SHONE פְּרִ֨י on peh-REE עֵ֤ץ the ayts הָדָר֙ first ha-DAHR כַּפֹּ֣ת day ka-POTE תְּמָרִ֔ים the teh-ma-REEM וַֽעֲנַ֥ף boughs va-uh-NAHF עֵץ of ayts עָבֹ֖ת goodly ah-VOTE וְעַרְבֵי trees, veh-ar-VAY נָ֑חַל branches NA-hahl וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם of oo-seh-mahk-TEM לִפְנֵ֛י palm leef-NAY יְהוָ֥ה trees, yeh-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֖ם and ay-loh-hay-HEM שִׁבְעַ֥ת the sheev-AT יָמִֽים׃ boughs ya-MEEM
