Leviticus 12
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ,
2 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, 'ଯଦି କୌଣସି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଗର୍ଭଧାରଣ କରି ପୁତ୍ର ପ୍ରସବ କରେ, ତବେେ ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଧର୍ମର ଅ େଶୗଚ ସମୟ ପରି ସାତଦିନ ୟାଏ ଅଶୁଚି ରହିବ।
3 ଅଷ୍ଟମ ଦିନ ରେ ବାଳକ ନିଶ୍ଯ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହବେ।
4 ପୁଣି ସେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତତେିଶ ଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ନିଜର େଶୗଚ ନିମନ୍ତେ ରକ୍ତ ସ୍ରାବ ଅବସ୍ଥା ରେ ରହିବ। ଯେପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ େଶୗଚର ଦିନ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନ ହୁଏ, ସପେର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସେ କୌଣସି ପବିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତୁ ଛୁଇଁବ ନାହିଁ କିମ୍ବା କୌଣସି ପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।
5 ମାତ୍ର ଯବେେ ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ କନ୍ଯା ପ୍ରସବ କରେ, ସହେିଭଳି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଧର୍ମର ଅ େଶୗଚ ସମୟରେ ରହେ, ସେ ଦୁଇ ସପ୍ତାହ ପାଇଁ ଅଶୁଚି ରହିବ। ତା'ପରେ ତା'ର ଦହରେ ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବରୁ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ହବୋପାଇଁ ତାକୁ ଆଉ ଛଅଷଠି ଦିନ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍।
6 ତା'ପରେ ପୁତ୍ର ବା କନ୍ଯା ପ୍ରସବର ଅ େଶୗଚ ଦିନ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲ ସେ ବଳିଦାନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକବର୍ଷୀଯ ଏକ ମଷେ ଶାବକ ଓ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ କପୋତ ଛୁଆ କିମ୍ବା ପାରା ଛୁଆ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁର ଦ୍ବାରର ଯାଜକ ନିକଟକୁ ଆମିବ।
7 ଯଦି ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମଷେ ଶାବକ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ ଅକ୍ଷମ ହୁଏ ତବେେ ସେ ଦୁଇଟି କପୋତ କିମ୍ବା ଦୁଇଟି ପାରାଛୁଆ ଆଣିବ। ସେଥିମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟଟି ହାମବେଳି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାୟିବ।
8 ଯାଜକ ସଗେୁଡିକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ଉଚିତ୍ ଏବଂ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ତା'ର ପ୍ରଯଶ୍ଚିତ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ତା'ର ଶୁଦ୍ଧି ହୁଏ। ପୁତ୍ର ବା କନ୍ଯା ପ୍ରସବକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରତି ଶୁଚି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହିସବୁ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଅଟେ।
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
5 But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
7 Who shall offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
