ପୀଲାତ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ 'ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମଣ୍ଡପ' ନାମକ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ଏବ୍ରୀ ଭାଷା ରେ ଏହାର ନାମ 'ଗବ୍ବଥା' ଅଟେ। ପୀଲାତ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରମଣ୍ଡପରେ ଥିବା ବିଚାରସନ ରେ ବସିଲେ।
