Jeremiah 3:19
ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହୁଛୁ, 'ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ସନ୍ତାନ ପରି ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବା, ନାନା ଦେଶୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ପରମ ରତ୍ନସ୍ବରୂପ ଏକ ମନୋରମ ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନ କରିବା।' ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ 'ପିତା' ବୋଲି ଡ଼ାକିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ସର୍ବଦା ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବ।

| a goodly | חֶמְדָּ֔ה | ḥemdâ | hem-DA |
| heritage | נַחֲלַ֥ת | naḥălat | na-huh-LAHT |
| hosts the of | צְבִ֖י | ṣĕbî | tseh-VEE |
| of nations? | צִבְא֣וֹת | ṣibʾôt | tseev-OTE |
| said, I and | גּוֹיִ֑ם | gôyim | ɡoh-YEEM |
| Thou shalt call | וָאֹמַ֗ר | wāʾōmar | va-oh-MAHR |
| father; My me, | אָבִי֙ | ʾābiy | ah-VEE |
