James 1 - BBE (Oriya)

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, sends words of love to the twelve tribes of the Jews living in all parts of the earth.ମୁଁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ସବେକ ଯାକୁବ, ସାରା ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ବ୍ଯାପି ହାଇେ ରହିଥିବା ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଏ।

2 Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort;ମାେ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନକେ ପ୍ରକାରର ଅସୁବିଧାର ସମ୍ମୁଖୀନ ହବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏପରି ହେଲା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅଧିକ ଖୁସି ହବୋ ଉଚିତ୍।

3 Because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope;କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଛ ଯେ, ଏହି ଅସୁବିଧାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ବାସକୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରେ, ଓ ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯ ଜନ୍ମାଏ।

4 But let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing.ତୁମ୍ଭ କାମଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ର୍ଧୈୟ୍ଯକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହବୋକୁ ଦିଅ। ତବେେ ଯାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଓ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଆବଶ୍ଯକ ବିଷୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାଇବ।

5 But if any man among you is without wisdom, let him make his request to God, who gives freely to all without an unkind word, and it will be given to him.କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭିତରୁ ଯଦି କହେି ଜ୍ଞାନର ଆବଶ୍ଯକ କରେ, ତା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ମାଗିବା ଉଚିତ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦୟାଳୁ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଦବୋ ରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଅନୁଭବ କରନ୍ତି। ଅତଏବ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଦବେେ।

6 Let him make his request in faith, doubting nothing; for he who has doubt in his heart is like the waves of the sea, which are troubled by the driving of the wind.କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ମାଗିଥାଅ, ସେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ସନ୍ଦହେ କର ନାହିଁ। ସନ୍ଦହେୀ ଲୋକ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଢ଼େଉ ଭଳି। ପବନ ଢ଼େଉକୁ ଉପରକୁ ଉଠାଏ ଓ ତଳକୁ ପକାଏ, ସନ୍ଦହେୀ ଲୋକ ସହେି ଢ଼େଉ ଭଳି।

7 Let it not seem to such a man that he will get anything from the Lord;ସନ୍ଦହେୀ ଲୋକ ଏକାଥରକେ ଦୁଇଟି କଥା ଭାବେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ କରୁଥିବା କୌଣସି ବିଷୟ ରେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନଇେପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।

8 For there is a division in his mind, and he is uncertain in all his ways.ସଭେଳି ଲୋକ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ କିଛି ପାଇବ ବୋଲି ଆଶା କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ।

9 But let the brother of low position be glad that he is lifted up;ଯଦି ଜଣେ ବିଶ୍ବାସୀ ଗରିବ ହାଇେଥାଏ, ତବେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାହାକୁ ଆତ୍ମିକ ଭାବେ ଧନୀ କରିଥିବାରୁ, ସେ ଗର୍ବ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।

10 But the man of wealth, that he is made low; because like the flower of the grass he will come to his end.ସହେିପରି ଜଣେ ଧନୀ ବିଶ୍ବାସୀ ଯେ ଆତ୍ମିକ ଭାବରେ ଗରିବ, ତାହା ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାହାକୁ ଦଖାଇେ ଦଇେଥିବାରୁ, ସେ ଗର୍ବ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ଧନୀଲୋକ ଜଣକ ଘାସର ଫୁଲ ଭଳି ଝଡ଼ିପଡ଼ି ମରିୟିବ।

11 For when the sun comes up with its burning heat, the grass gets dry and the grace of its form is gone with the falling flower; so the man of wealth comes to nothing in his ways.ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଉଦୟ ହାଇେ ଅଧିକ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ କରେ। ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯର ଉତ୍ତାପ ଚାରା ଗଛଟିକୁ ଶୁଖଇେ ଦିଏ। ଫୁଲ ଝଡ଼ି ଯାଏ। ସହେି ଫୁଲ ଅତି ସୁନ୍ଦର ଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ତାହା ମୃତ ହେଲା। ଧନୀଲୋକର କଥା ମଧ୍ଯ ଠିକ୍ ସହେିଭଳି। ସେ ତାହାର ବ୍ଯବସାୟ ଲାଗି ଯୋଜନା କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ମରିୟିବ।

12 There is a blessing on the man who undergoes testing; because, if he has God's approval, he will be given the crown of life, which the Lord has said he will give to those who have love for him.ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରୀକ୍ଷିତ ହାଇେ ଦୃଢ଼ ରହି ପା ରେ, ସେ ଖୁସି ହବୋ କଥା। କାରଣ, ସେ ତାହାର ବିଶ୍ବାସକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରମାଣିତ କରି ସାରିଲା ପରେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାହାକୁ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନର ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦବେେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରୁଥିବା ସବୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି।

13 Let no man say when he is tested, I am tested by God; for it is not possible for God to be tested by evil, and he himself puts no man to such a test:ଯେତବେେଳେ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରୀକ୍ଷିତ ହୁଏ, ସେ କହିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ମନ୍ଦତା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଜେ କାହାକୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

14 But every man is tested when he is turned out of the right way by the attraction of his desire.ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତା'ର ନିଜର ମନ୍ଦ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତି ଯୋଗୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷିତ ହୁଏ। ତାହାର ମନ୍ଦ ଇଚ୍ଛା ତାହାକୁ ଭସାଇ ନିଏ ଓ ବାନ୍ଧି ରେଖ।

15 Then when its time comes, desire gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is of full growth, gives birth to death.ଏହି ଇଚ୍ଛା ହିଁ ପାପକୁ ଜାତ କରେ। ଏହି ପାପ ବଢ଼ି ମୃତ୍ଯୁକୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦିଏ।

16 Do not be turned from the right way, dear brothers.ମାେ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ ! ଏହି ବିଷୟ ରେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାର ମୂର୍ଖାମୀ ରେ ପଡ଼ ନାହିଁ।

17 Every good and true thing is given to us from heaven, coming from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change or any shade made by turning.ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଉତ୍ତମ ବିଷୟ ଓ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଦାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସିଥାଏ। ଯେଉଁ ପରମପିତା ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ସମସ୍ତ ଜ୍ଯୋତିର୍ଗଣ ସୂର୍ୟ୍ଯ, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର, ତାରାଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦାନ ଆ ସେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ସମାନ ଅଟନ୍ତି।

18 Of his purpose he gave us being, by his true word, so that we might be, in a sense, the first-fruits of all the things which he had made.ସତ୍ଯ ବାକ୍ଯ ଦ୍ବାରା ସେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଜୀବନ ଦାନ ଦବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ଥିର କଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ସମସ୍ତ ବସ୍ତୁ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ମହତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବା ତାହାଙ୍କର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଥିଲା।

19 You have knowledge of this, dear brothers. But let every man be quick in hearing, slow in words, slow to get angry;ମାେ ପ୍ରିୟ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ, କହିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶୁଣିବା ରେ ବେଶି ଇଚ୍ଛୁକ ହୁଅ। ସଜହଜ ରେ ରାଗି ଯାଅ ନାହିଁ।

20 For the righteousness of God does not come about by the wrath of man.କାରଣ ଜଣେ ମଣିଷର କୋରଧ ତାହାକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁମାଦେିତ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଜୀବନ କାଟିବାକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରେ ନାହିଁ।

21 For this reason, putting away all dirty behaviour and the overweight of evil, take into your souls without pride the word which, being planted there, is able to give you salvation.ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନରୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମନ୍ଦ ବିଷୟ ଓ ମନ୍ଦ କର୍ମକୁ କାଢ଼ି ପକାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦୟ ରେ ବୁଣା ଯାଇଥିବା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ନମ୍ରତାର ସହିତ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର। ଏହି ଶିକ୍ଷା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିପାରିବ।

22 But be doers of the word, and not only hearers of it, blinding yourselves with false ideas.ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଳନ କର, କବଳେ ଯେ ଶୁଣିବ ତାହା ନୁହେଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ଦଖାଇବୋ ଦରକାର। କବଳେ ବସି ରହି ଶୁଣିବା ଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଠକୁଛ।

23 Because if any man is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a glass;ଯଦି ଜଣେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ କବଳେ ଶୁଣେ ଓ କିଛି କରେ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଲୋକ ଦର୍ପଣ ରେ ନିଜ ମୁହଁ ଦେଖିଲା ଭଳି ଅଟେ।

24 For after looking at himself he goes away, and in a short time he has no memory of what he was like.ସେ ଦର୍ପଣ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଦେଖେ ଓ ଦୂ ରଇେ ଚାଲିଯାଏ ଓ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଭୁଲିଯାଏ ଯେ, ସେ କିପରି ଦିଶୁଥିଲା।

25 But he who goes on looking into the true law which makes him free, being not a hearer without memory but a doer putting it into effect, this man will have a blessing on his acts.କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ସୁଖୀ ଲୋକ ଯତ୍ନ ସହକା ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସିଦ୍ଧ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅଧ୍ଯୟନ କରେ ଯାହା ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବାଧୀନ କରିଥାଏ। ସେ ସର୍ବଦା ତାହା ଅଧ୍ଯୟନ କରୁଥାଏ। ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ଶୁଣେ ଓ ସହେି ଶୁଣିଥିବା ବିଷୟ ଭୁଲିଯାଏ ନାହିଁ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହେି ଶିକ୍ଷାକୁ ପାଳନ କରେ। ଏପରି କରିବା ଦ୍ବାରା ସେ ସୁଖୀ ହୁଏ।

26 If a man seems to have religion and has no control over his tongue but lets himself be tricked by what is false, this man's religion is of no value.ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଭାବିପା ରେ ଯେ, ସେ ନିଜେ ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଅଟେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ସବୁ କଥା କହିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ, ତାହା କହିବା ଦ୍ବାରା ସେ ନିଜକୁ ଠକେ। ତେଣୁ ତା'ର 'ଧର୍ମର କିଛି ମୂଲ୍ଯ ରହେ ନାହିଁ।

27 The religion which is holy and free from evil in the eyes of our God and Father is this: to take care of children who have no fathers and of widows who are in trouble, and to keep oneself untouched by the world.ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯେଉଁ ଧର୍ମକୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ତାହା ହେଲା : ଅନାଥ, ବିଧବା ଓ ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଯତ୍ନ ନବୋ ଓ ନିଜକୁ ଏହି ସଂସାରର ମନ୍ଦ ପ୍ରଭାବରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ରଖିବା। ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଧର୍ମକୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ଓ ଉତ୍ତମ ବୋଲି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରନ୍ତି।
