Isaiah 58:7
ପୁଣି କ୍ଷୁଧିତ ଲୋକକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ବଣ୍ଟନ କରିବାର ତାଡ଼ିତ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକକୁ ନିଜ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଣିବାର, ଉଲଗ୍ନକୁ ଦେଖି ତାକୁ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧାଇଦବୋର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିଜ ବଂଶୀଯ ଲୋକଠାରୁ ନିଜକୁ ନ ଲୁଚାଇବାର, ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଉପବାସ ଆମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହୁଁ ?'

| the poor | מְרוּדִ֖ים | mĕrûdîm | meh-roo-DEEM |
| that are cast out | תָּ֣בִיא | tābîʾ | TA-vee |
| house? thy to | בָ֑יִת | bāyit | VA-yeet |
| when | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| thou seest | תִרְאֶ֤ה | tirʾe | teer-EH |
| naked, the | עָרֹם֙ | ʿārōm | ah-ROME |
| that thou cover | וְכִסִּית֔וֹ | wĕkissîtô | veh-hee-see-TOH |
| hide thou that and him; | וּמִבְּשָׂרְךָ֖ | ûmibbĕśorkā | oo-mee-beh-sore-HA |
| not thyself | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| from thine own flesh? | תִתְעַלָּֽם׃ | titʿallām | teet-ah-LAHM |
