Hosea 5:1-7 in Oriya

1 Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

2 And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.

3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.

4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord.

5 And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.

6 They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.

7 They have dealt treacherously against the Lord: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.

1 ପୁରୋହିତଗଣ, ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଅଧିବାସୀଗଣ ଓ ରାଜପରିବାରର ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେ କଥା ଶୁଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦୋଷୀ ବୋଲି ବିଗ୍ଭରିତ ହାଇେଛ।

2 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବହୁ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛ। ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ।

3 ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମକୁ ଜାଣୁ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଯାହାସବୁ କରିଛି ତାହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣୁ। ହେ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗଣିକାପରି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରୁଛ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପାପ ରେ କଳୁଷିତ।

4 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ବହୁ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସହେିସବୁ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେିବାଠାରୁ ଦୂ ରଇେ ଦଇେଛି। ସମାନେେ ସର୍ବଦା ପ୍ରତିମାଙ୍କ ପଛ ରେ ଧାଇଁ ବାକୁ ଚିନ୍ତା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣୁ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

5 ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଗର୍ବ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ସାକ୍ଷୀ ଦବେ। ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଓ ଇଫ୍ରଯିମ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାପ ଯୋଗୁଁ ପତିତ ହବେେ। ଯିହୁଦାର ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସହିତ ପତନ ହବେ।

6 ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ନେତାମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ ରେ ଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ' ମଷେ' ଓ 'ଗାଈମାନଙ୍କୁ' ନେଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସମାନେେ ପାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ। କାହିଁକି ପାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ? କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଥିଲେ।

7 ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଅବୈଧ ସନ୍ତାନଙ୍କୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସମାନେେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦେଶଗୁଡିକୁ ଆସନ୍ତା ମାସ ରେ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରାୟିବ।
