Genesis 21 - ASV (Oriya)

1 And Jehovah visited Sarah as he had said, and Jehovah did unto Sarah as he had spoken.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସାରାଙ୍କଠା ରେ କରିଥିବା ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ରକ୍ଷା କଲେ। ସେ ସାରାକୁ ଯାହା ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସପରେି କଲେ।

2 And Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.ସାରା ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ହାଇେ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ବାର୍ଦ୍ଧକ୍ଯ ଅବସ୍ଥା ରେ ଏକ ଶିଶୁକୁ ଜନ୍ମ ଦେଲେ। ଏସବୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିରୁପିତ ସମୟରେ ଘଟିଲା।

3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.ସାରା ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଲୋ, ଏବଂ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ତାଙ୍କର ନାମକରଣ କରି ତା'ର ନାମ ଦେଲେ ଇସ୍ହାକ,

4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.ଅବ୍ରହାମ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଅନୁସାରେ ଇସ୍ହାକକୁ ଠିକ୍ ଆଠଦିନପରେ ସୁନ୍ନତ କଲେ।

5 And Abraham was a hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.ଇସ୍ହାକ ଜନ୍ମ ବଳକେୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଏକଶହ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ହାଇେଥିଲା।

6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh. Every one that heareth will laugh with me.ଏବଂ ସାରା କହିଲା, ପରମେେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ହସ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଯେ ଏହା ଶୁଣିବ ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ହସିବ।

7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should give children suck? For I have borne him a son in his old age.କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଚିନ୍ତା କଲନୋହିଁ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ଅବ୍ରହାମଠାରୁ ପିଲାକୁ ଦନ୍ମ ଦବେି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧବସ୍ଥା ରେ ଏକ ପୁତ୍ର ଦଲେି।

8 And the child grew, and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned.ଯେ ତବେଳେ ଇସ୍ହାକ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ବଡ଼ ହେଲ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଏକ ବିରାଟ ଭୋଜିର ଆଯୋଜନ କଲେ।

9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne unto Abraham, mocking.ହାଗାର ପୁଅ ଖଳେୁଥିବାର ସାରା ଦେଖିଲା। ଯାହା ହାଗାର ମିଶରୀଯ ଏହି ପୁତ୍ର ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ହାଇେଥିଲା।

10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this handmaid and her son. For the son of this handmaid shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.ସାରା ଅବ୍ରହାମକୁ କହିଲା, ସହେି ଦାସୀ ଓ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଦୂରସ୍ଥାନକୁ ତଡ଼ିଦିଅ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମରିୟିବା ମାରେ ପୁତ୍ର ଇସ୍ହାକ ଆମ୍ଭର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ହବେ। ମୁଁ ସହେି ଦାସୀର ପୁତ୍ର, ଇସ୍ହାକ ସହିତ ଅଂଶ ଅଧିକାର ପାଉ ବୋଲି ଚା ହେଁ ନାହିଁ।

11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight on account of his son.ଏହି ଦୁଃଖ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କୁ ଘାରିଲା, ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲେ ବିଷଯ ରେ ବହୁତ ଭାବିଲେ।

12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy handmaid. In all that Sarah saith unto thee, hearken unto her voice. For in Isaac shall thy seed be called.କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅବ୍ରହାମକୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସହେି ଦାସୀ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହବୋର ନାହିଁ। ସାରା ଯେପରି ଚାହୁଁଛି ସପରେି କର। ଇସ୍ହାକ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିବାରର ନାମ ରଖିବ।

13 And also of the son of the handmaid will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସୀର ପୁତ୍ରଠାରୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏକ ମହାନ ଜାତି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବି। କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର।

14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and `gave her' the child, and sent her away. And she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.ତା'ପର ଦିନ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯୁଷରୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ କିଛି ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ପାଣିଥଳି ଆଣିଲା। ଅବ୍ରହାମ ତାହା ହାଗାରକୁ ଦେଲେ। ଅବ୍ରହାମ ହାଗାର ଓ ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ପଠାଇ ଦେଲେ ସହେି ଜିନିଷ ସହିତ। ହାଗାର ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡ଼ି ବରେଶବୋ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କଲେ।

15 And the water in the bottle was spent, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ପାଣି ଶଷେ ହାଇଗେଲା ହାଗାର ତା'ର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ଏକ ବୁଦା ତଳେ ରଖିଲା।

16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot. For she said, Let me not look upon the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lifted up her voice, and wept.ହାଗାର ସଠାରୁେ କିଛି ଦୂରକୁ ଗଲା, େସତେ ଦୂର ଯେତେ ଦୂର ଗୋଟିଏ ଧନୁରୁ ଶର ମାରିଲେ ୟାଏ। ସଠାେରେ ସେ ୟାଇ ବସି ପଡ଼ିଲା। ହାଗାର ତା'ର ପିଲାଟି ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରୁଥିବାର ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲା ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ସେ ସଠାେରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କଲା।

17 And God heard the voice of the lad. And the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? Fear not. For God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ବାଳକର କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ଶୁଣିପାରିଲେ ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ହାଗାରକୁ କହିଲେ, କ'ଣ ହେଲା ହାଗାର? ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ! ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ସେ ପିଲାର କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ଶୁଣି ପାରୁଛନ୍ତି।

18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thy hand. For I will make him a great nation.ୟାଅ ଏବଂ ବାଳକକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର। ତା'ର ହାତଧରି ତାକୁ ଆଗଇେ ନିଅ। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବହୁ ସନ୍ତାନର ପିତା କରିବି।

19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.ଏହାପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହାଗାରକୁ ଏକ କୂପ ଦଖାଇେଲେ। ତେଣୁ ହାଗାର ସହେି କୂପ ପାଖକୁ ୟାଇ ତାଙ୍କର ଥଳି ରେ ପାଣି ଭର୍ତ୍ତିକଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ସେଥିରୁ ପାଣି ପିଇବାକୁ ଦେଲେ।

20 And God was with the lad, and he grew. And he dwelt in the wilderness, and became, as he grew up, an archer.ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଦୟାରୁ ସହେି ବାଳକ ବଡ଼ ହେଲା। ଇଶ୍ମାଯଲେ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ବାସକଲା ଏବଂ ଏକ ଶିକାରୀ ହେଲା। ସେ ଧନୁ ମାରିବା ନିପୂଣଭାବରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା କଲା।

21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran. And his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.ତାଙ୍କର ମା ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମିଶର ରେ ଠିକ୍ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପାରଣ ନାମକ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ବାସ କଲେ।

22 And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest.ଏହାପରେ ଅବିମଲକେ ଏବଂ ଫୀଖୋଲ୍ ନାମକ ଅବା୍ରହାମଙ୍କର ସନୋପତି ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ସହାୟ ଅଟନ୍ତି।

23 Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son. But according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାଠାେ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେପ୍ରତି ଓ ମାରେସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବିଶ୍ବାସଘାତ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା ଦଖାଇବେ ଏବଂ ମାରେ ଦେଶ ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକ ବିଦେଶୀ ପରି ବାସ କରୁଛ। ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଦୟା କରିବ। ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦୟା ଦଖାଇେଛି।

24 And Abraham said, I will swear.ଏବଂ ଅବ୍ରହାମ କ ହେଲେ, ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରୁଛି।

25 And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of the well of water, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.ଏହାପରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଅବିମଲକଠାେ ରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କଲେ। କାରଣ ଅବିମଲକରେ ଦାସମାନେ ଏକ କୂଅକୁ କବ୍ଜା ରେ କରି ନଇେଛନ୍ତି।

26 And Abimelech said, I know not who hath done this thing. Neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to-day.କିନ୍ତୁ ଅବିମଲକେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ କିଏ ଏହା କରିଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଗରୁ ମାେତେ ଏବିଷଯ ରେ କିଛି କହିଲ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ଆଜି ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲି।

27 And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech. And they two made a covenant.ତେଣୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଓ ଅବିମଲକେ ମଧିଅରେ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି ହେଲା। ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଅବିମଲକେକୁ ଚୁକ୍ତି ରେ ପ୍ରମାଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ କିଛି ମଷେ ଓ ଗୋରୁ ଦେଲେ।

28 And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.ଅବ୍ରହାମ ମଧ୍ଯ ମଷେପଲରୁ ସାତଟା ମଷେବତ୍ସା ଅଲଗା କରି ରଖିଲେ।

29 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?ଅବିମଲକେ ଅବ୍ରହାମକୁ ପଚ଼ାରିଲେ, କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସାତଟା ମଷେକୁ ଅଲଗା କଲ?

30 And he said, These seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that it may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଲୋ, ମୁଁ ଯେ ଏହି କୂପ ଖାେଳିଅଛି ତହିଁର ପ୍ରମାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମାଠାରୁେ ଏହି ସାତଟା ମଷେ ବତ୍ସା ନବୋକୁ ହବେ।

31 Wherefore he called that place Beer-sheba. Because there they sware both of them.ଏଣୁ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନର ନାମ ବରେଶବୋ ହେଲା, ସେ ସହେି କୂପର ନାମ ଏପରି ଦେଲେ, କାରଣ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଉଭୟ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ।

32 So they made a covenant at Beer-sheba. And Abimelech rose up, and Phicol the captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.ତେଣୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଏବଂ ଅବିମଲକେ ବରେଶବୋଠା ରେ ଏକ ଚୁକ୍ତି କଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଅବିମଲକେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ସନୋପତି ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଦେଶକୁ ଫରେିଗଲେ।

33 And `Abraham' planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of Jehovah, the Everlasting God.ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଏକ ବିଶଷେ ଗଛ ସଠାେରେ ରୋପଣ କଲେ। ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଅନାଦି ଅନନ୍ତ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ।

34 And Abraham sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days.ଏବଂ ଅବ୍ରହାମ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ରେ ବହୁଦିନ ବାସ କଲେ।
