Genesis 15:7
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅବ୍ରାମଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ସହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ୟିଏ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ଊରଠାରୁ ଏହି ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲି।

ଅବ୍ରାହାମ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବଂଶଜମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ମିଳିଥିଲା ଯେ ସମାନେେ ସଂସାରର ଉତ୍ତରାଧିକାରୀ ହବେେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅବ୍ରାହାମ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ପାଳନ କରିଥିବାରୁ ମିଳି ନଥିଲା। ବିଶ୍ବାସ ଦ୍ବାରା ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ହାଇେଥିବାରୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତି ମିଳିଥିଲା।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କିଣାନ ଦେଶ ଦବୋ ଏବଂ ସହେି ଭୂମି ତୁମ୍ଭର ହବେ।
