Ezra 4:22
ସାବଧାନ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ ହଳୋ କରନାହିଁ। ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ କ୍ଷତି ନିମନ୍ତେ କାହିଁକି ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବ।

ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁ ଯେ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏହି ନଗର ନିର୍ମିତ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମାପ୍ତ ହବେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ କର, ରାଜସ୍ବ ବା ମାଶୁଲ ଦବେେ ନାହିଁ। ପୁଣି ଶଷେ ରେ ତାହା ରାଜାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କ୍ଷତିକାରକ ହବେ।

ଏହାପରେ ହାମନ୍ ଅକ୍ଷଶ୍ବରେଶ ରାଜାକୁ କହିଲା, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ ଓ ପୃଥକ୍କୃତ ଏକ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଅନ୍ୟ ସକଳ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାଠାରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ଭିନ୍ନ ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ମାନନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ଏଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବ୍ଯବହାର ସହ୍ଯ କରିବା ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କର ଉଚିତ୍ ନୁହେଁ।

ଏହାପରେ ରାଣୀ ଏଷ୍ଟର କହିଲେ, ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦୁଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଇଅଛି, ଆଉ ଯବେେ ମହାରାଜ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି, ତବେେ ମାହେର ନିବଦନେ ଅନୁସାରେ ମାେ ପ୍ରାଣ ଓ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାନୁସା ରେ ମାେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାେତେ ଦିଆଯାଉ।
