କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ମାଶାେ ଓ ହାରୋଣଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ। ସେ ମିଶରର ରାଜା ଫାରୋଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ୟିବା ପାଇଁ ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ମିଶରରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।

ଏହି ଆଦେଶ ସହେିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଏ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଧନୀ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗର୍ବ ନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୁହ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କୁହ ଯେ ସମାନେେ ନିଜ ଧନର ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନବୋ ଉଚିତ। ଧନ ଉପରେ ଆସ୍ଥା ରଖ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବସ୍ତୁ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ପରିମାଣ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି। ସେ ଭୋଗ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଜିନିଷ ଦିଅନ୍ତି।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି। ପନ୍ତିୟ ପୀଲାତଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେଥିବା ବେଳେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁ ସହେି ଏକା ମହାନ୍ ସତ୍ଯଟିକୁ ସ୍ବୀକାର କରିଥିଲେ। ଏକମାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ବିଷୟକୁ ଜୀବନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରନ୍ତି।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁ ଏବଂ ମନୋନୀତ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି। ସତ୍ଯ ଜାଣିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କର ନାହିଁ। ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସମାନ ଭାବ ଦଖାେଅ।
1 Timothy 1:18
ତୀମଥି ! ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପୁତ୍ର ଭଳି। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି। ଅତୀତ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଯାହା ସବୁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ ବାଣୀ କୁହା ଯାଇଥିଲା, ତା'ସହିତ ଏହି ଆଦେଶଟି ଏକମତ ଅଟେ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ କହୁଛି, ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ ବାଣୀର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବ ଓ ବିଶ୍ବାସର ଉତ୍ତମ ଲଢ଼ଇେ ଲଢ଼ି ପାରିବ।

ଶୟତାନ କହିଲା, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପରମାଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, ତବେେ ତଳକୁ ଡଇେଁପଡ। କାରଣ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ଲଖାେଅଛ:

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦବେେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁଠାକୁ ଗଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ, ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦବେେ।
Deuteronomy 31:14
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯର ସମୟ ଆସିଗଲା। ଯିହାଶୂେୟଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଡାକ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହେଁ ସମାଗମ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ବୁ ରେ ଠିଆ ହକ୍ସ୍ଟଅ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦବୋ। ତହିଁରେ ମାଶାେ ଓ ୟିହୋଶୂଯ ୟାଇ ସମାଗମ ତମ୍ବୁ ରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ।
Numbers 27:23
ପୁଣି ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ହସ୍ତାର୍ପଣ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେ ହାତ ରେ ଯରେୂପ କହିଥିଲେ, ସେ ରୂପ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।
2 Timothy 4:1
ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଆଗ ରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି। ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁ ଜୀବିତ ଓ ମୃତଉଭୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବେ। ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଗୋଟିଏ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଅଛି ଓ ସେ ଆଉଥରେ ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି। ଅତଏବ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହି ଆଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି।
