John 7 - WEB (Oriya)

1 After these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn't walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.ଏହାପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଗାଲିଲୀ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ରେ ଭ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ସେ ୟିହୂଦା ରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହୁଁ ନଥିଲେ, କାରଣ ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହୁଁଥିଲେ।

2 Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand.ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ବାର୍ଷିକ କୁଟୀରବାସ ପର୍ବର ସମୟ ଆସିଲା।

3 His brothers therefore said to him, "Depart from here, and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do.ତେଣୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଏ ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡ ଓ ପର୍ବ ସକାେଶ ୟିହୂଦା ପ୍ରଦେଶକୁ ଯାଅ। ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନେ ସଠାେରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କରୁଥିବା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡୁକ ଦେଖି ପାରିବେ।

4 For no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world."ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଚା ହେଁ ଯେ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତୁ, ତବେେ ସେ ତା'ର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯସୂଚୀ ଲୁଚଇବୋ ଉଚିତ ନୁହେଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜକୁ ଜଗତ ଆଗ ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କରୁଥିବା ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସବୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଦିଅ।

5 For even his brothers didn't believe in him.(ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରୁନଥିଲେ।)

6 Jesus therefore said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ ସମୟ ଆସି ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର (ୟିବା) ପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତ ସମୟ ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ।

7 The world can't hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.ସଂସାର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଘୃଣା କରି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ସଂସାର ମାେତେ ଘୃଣା କରେ, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଜଗତର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯଗୁଡିକ ମନ୍ଦ ବୋଲି କ ହେ।

8 You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled."ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପର୍ବକୁ ଯାଅ। ମୁଁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପର୍ବକୁ ୟିବି ନାହିଁ। ମାେ ପାଇଁ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଉପୟୁକ୍ତ ସମୟ ଆସି ନାହିଁ।

9 Having said these things to them, he stayed in Galilee.ଏକଥା କହିବା ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଗାଲିଲୀ ରେ ରହିଗଲେ।

10 But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.ତେଣୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଭାଇମାନେ ପର୍ବକୁ ଗଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଗଲାପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ଗଲେ। ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିଗୋଚର ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ।

11 The Jews therefore sought him at the feast, and said, "Where is he?"ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ପର୍ବ ରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଖାଜେିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପଚାରିଲେ, ସହେି ଲୋକଟି କାହିଁ?

12 There was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him. Some said, "He is a good man." Others said, "Not so, but he leads the multitude astray."ସଠାେରେ ବହୁତ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଅନକେେ ଗୋପନ ରେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଭିତ ରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ହେଉଥିଲେ। କେତକେ ଲୋକ କହିଲେ, ସେ ଜଣେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଲୋକ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ କହୁଥିଲେ, ନା, ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତାରଣା କରୁଛି।

13 Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews.କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଏପରି କହେି ସାହାସୀ ନଥିଲେ, ୟିଏ କି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଖାେଲା ଖାଲିେ ଭାବରେ କହିବ। ଲୋକମାନେ ଯିହୂଦୀୟ ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲେ।

14 But when it was now the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.ପର୍ବ ପ୍ରାୟ ଅଧାଅଧି ଶଷେ ହାଇେ ଯାଇଥିଲା। ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ପରିସରକୁ ଯାଇ ଉପଦେଶ ଦବୋ ରେ ଲାଗିଲେ।

15 The Jews therefore marveled, saying, "How does this man know letters, having never been educated?"ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ଅଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହେଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଏ ଲୋକ କବେେ ବିଦ୍ଯାଳୟ ରେ ପଢି ନାହିଁ। ଏତେ ବିଷୟବସ୍ତୁ ସେ କିପରି ଜାଣିଲା?

16 Jesus therefore answered them, "My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.ଯୀଶୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ମୁଁ ଯାହା ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉଛି, ତାହା ମାେ ନିଜର ନୁହେଁ। ମାରେ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗୁଡିକ ମାେତେ ପଠାଇଥିବା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସିଛି।

17 If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହା ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି ଯଦି କୌଣସି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ସହେି ଅନୁଯାଯୀ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରେ, ମାରେଉପଦେଶ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆସିଛି ନା ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ସେ ଜାଣିପାରିବ। ସେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଜାଣିପାରିବ ଯେ ଏ ଉପଦେଶ ମାେ ନିଜର ନୁହେଁ।

18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନିଜର ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରା ପ୍ରଚାର କରେ, ସେ ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଚା ହେଁ କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ନିଜ ପ୍ ରରଣକେର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କର ସମ୍ମାନ ଚା ହେଁ ସେ ସତ୍ଯ କ ହେ। ତା' ପାଖ ରେ କିଛି ମିଥ୍ଯା ନାହିଁ।

19 Didn't Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?"ଏହା ସତ୍ଯ ଯେ ମାଶାେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନିୟମ (ବ୍ଯପସ୍ଥା) ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କହେି ସେ ନିୟମ ମାନୁ ନାହଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ କାହିଁକି ମାରି ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛ?

20 The multitude answered, "You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?"ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭିତ ରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଭୂତ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପାଗଳ କରିଦଇେଛି। ଆମ୍ଭ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମାରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟାକରୁ ନାହୁଁ।

21 Jesus answered them, "I did one work, and you all marvel because of it.ଯୀଶୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲି, ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହାଇେଥିଲ।

22 Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy.ମାଶାେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସୁନ୍ନତ ବିଧି ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିୟମ ଦେଲେ, (କିନ୍ତୁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ମାଶାେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସୁନ୍ନତ ବିଷୟ ଦଇେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ଏହାତ ମାଶାଙ୍କେ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଆସିଛି)। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ େ ବେଳବେଳେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନ ଗୋଟିଏ ବାଳକକୁ ସୁନ୍ନତ କରିଥାଅ।

23 If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me, because I made a man every bit whole on the Sabbath?ଏଥିରୁ ଜଣାପଡେ ଯେ, କୌଣସି ଲୋକକୁ ମାଶାଙ୍କେର ନିୟମ ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନ ସୁନ୍ନତ କରା ଯାଇପା ରେ। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ଯଦି ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଦିନ କୌଣସି ଲୋକର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଦହକେୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲି ଦବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ରାଗୁଛ?

24 Don't judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment."କୌଣସି ବିଷୟର ବାହ୍ଯରୂପ ଦେଖି ବିଚାର କର ନାହିଁ। ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଯାହା ଠିକ୍, ତଦନୁଯାଯୀ ବିଚାର କର।

25 Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said, "Isn't this he whom they seek to kill?ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା କେତକେ ଲୋକ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଲୋକକୁ ସମାନେେ ମାରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି।

26 Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Christ?କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ପ୍ରକାଶ ରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁଛି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦେଖୁଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଶୁଣୁଛନ୍ତି। କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ତାହାର ପ୍ରଚାର ବନ୍ଦ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁନାହିଁ। ବୋଧହୁଏ ନେତାମାନେ ମନସ୍ଥ କଲେ ଯେ, ସେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ।

27 However we know where this man comes from, but when the Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from."କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଏହି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି କେଉଁଠାରୁ ଆସିଛି। ଯେତବେେଳେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଆସିବେ, ସେତବେେଳେ କହେି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଆସିବା ସ୍ଥାନ ଜାଣିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

28 Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, "You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don't know.ଯୀଶୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉ ଦେଉ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ବର ରେ କହିଲେ, ହଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଜାଣ ଓ ମୁଁ କେଉଁଠାରୁ ଆସିଛି ତାହା ମଧ୍ଯ ଜାଣ। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ମାରେ ନିଜ ଅଧିକାର ବଳ ରେ ଆସି ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ସତ୍ଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ପଠାଯାଇଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣି ନାହଁ।

29 I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me."କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିଛି ଓ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଆସିଛି। ସେ ସୋତେ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି।

30 They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.ଯୀଶୁ ଏ କଥା କହିବା ବେଳେ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ କହେି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଛୁଇଁ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେତବେେଳେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାର ଉଚିତ୍ ସମୟ ହାଇନେଥିଲା।

31 But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, "When the Christ comes, he won't do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?"ବହୁତ ଲୋକ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କଲେ। ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଆଗମନ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିଛୁ। ଏହି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଯେଉଁ ସବୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଆସିଲେ ଏହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା କ'ଣ ଅଧିକ କରିବେ? ନା, ଏହି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେଥିବେ।

32 The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଏହି କଥାମାନ କହୁଥିବାର ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ମୁଖ୍ଯ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ କେତକେ ସୈନ୍ଯଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

33 Then Jesus said, "I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଆଉ ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ରହିବି। ମାେତେ ୟିଏ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେିୟିବି।

34 You will seek me, and won't find me; and where I am, you can't come."ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଖାଜେିବ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମାେତେ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ଥିବି, ସଠାେକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯାଇ ପାରିବନାହିଁ।

35 The Jews therefore said among themselves, "Where will this man go that we won't find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ପରସ୍ପର କୁହାକୁହି ହେଲେ, ଏ ଲୋକ ଏପରି କେଉଁଠାକୁ ୟିବ ଯେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ପାଇବା ନାହିଁ। ସେ କ'ଣ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ନଗରଗୁଡିକୁ ୟିବ, ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନେ ରୁହନ୍ତି? ସେ ସଠାେରେ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବେ କି?

36 What is this word that he said, 'You will seek me, and won't find me; and where I am, you can't come?'"ଏହି ଲୋକ କହୁଛି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଖାଜେିବ, କିନ୍ତୁ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ପୁଣି କହୁଛି, 'ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁଠି ରହିବି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆସି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।' ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ କ'ଣ?

37 Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!ପର୍ବର ଶଷେ ଦିନ ଆସିଲା। ସହେି ପ୍ରଧାନ ଦିନ ରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଠିଆ ହାଇେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ବର ରେ କହିଲେ, ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ତୃଷାର୍ତ୍ତ, ତବେେ ସେ ମାେ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ପାନକରୁ।

38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water."ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ମାଠାେ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରେ ତବେେ ତା'ର ହୃଦୟରୁ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହବେ। ଏହି କଥା ଧର୍ମ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ରେ ଲଖାେ ଅଛି।

39 But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn't yet glorified.ଯୀଶୁ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ କହୁଥିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଭୋଗ କରି ନଥିବାରୁ ଓ ସେ ମହିମାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହାଇେ ନଥିବାରୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଦିଆଯାଇ ନଥିଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ପରେ, ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିବେ, ସମାନେେ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଲାଭ କରିବେ।

40 Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, "This is truly the prophet."ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଏହି କଥା ଲୋକମାନେ ଶୁଣିଲେ। କେତକେ ଲୋକ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଲୋକ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା।

41 Others said, "This is the Christ." But some said, "What, does the Christ come out of Galilee?ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ କହିଲେ, ସେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ।

42 Hasn't the Scripture said that the Christ comes of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?"ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କୁ ହେ ଯେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପରିବାରରୁ ଆସିବେ। ଏବଂ ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କୁ ହେ ଯେ, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ବାସସ୍ଥଳ ବେଥଲହେିମ ନଗରରୁ ଆସିବେ।

43 So there arose a division in the multitude because of him.ତେଣୁ ଲକମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ରେ ଭିନ୍ନ ଭିନ୍ନ ମତ ଦେଲେ।

44 Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him.ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କେତକେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଚାହିଁଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ କହେି ଜଣେ ହେଲେ ଏହା କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କଲେ ନାହିଁ।

45 The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, "Why didn't you bring him?"ମନ୍ଦିର ରେ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ମୁଖ୍ଯଯାଜକ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ। ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କାହିଁକି ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଆଣିଲ ନାହିଁ?

46 The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this man!"ମନ୍ଦିରର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ସେ ଯାହା କହୁଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ କଥାଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ୍।

47 The Pharisees therefore answered them, "You aren't also led astray, are you?ଫାରୂଶୀମାନେ କହିଲେ, ତାହା ହେଲେ ଯୀଶୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ବୋକା ବନଇେଛନ୍ତି।

48 Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees?କୌଣସି ନେତା କ'ଣ ତାକୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିଛନ୍ତି? ନା। ଆମ୍ଭ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କ'ଣ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହେି ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିଛନ୍ତି? ନା।

49 But this multitude that doesn't know the law is accursed."ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ବିଷୟ ରେ କିଛି ଜାଣନ୍ତିନି, ସମାନେେ ଶାପଗ୍ରସ୍ତ।

50 Nicodemus (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them,କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ଦଳ ରେ ନୀକଦୀମ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଏହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଯାଇଥିଲେ।

51 "Does our law judge a man, unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?"ସେ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଥା ଯେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକର କଥା ପ୍ରଥମେ ନଶୁଣି ବିଚାର କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ସେ କ'ଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ନଜାଣି ତାହାଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରି ପାରିବା ନାହିଁ।

52 They answered him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee."ଯିହୂଦୀନେତାମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ସହେି ଗାଲିଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ? ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଗୁଡିକୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବ, କୌଣସି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ଗାଲିଲୀରୁ ଆସନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

53 Everyone went to his own house,ତା'ପରେ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନ ଛାଡି ସମସ୍ତ ଯିହୂଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଘରକୁ ଗଲେ।
