Daniel 2 - BBE (Oriya)

1 In the second year of the rule of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was troubled and his sleep went from him.ଅନନ୍ତର ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ରାଜତ୍ବର ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷ ରେ କେତକେ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଲେ। ଏଥି ରେ ତାହାର ଆତ୍ମା ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ହେଲା ଓ ସେ ଶାଇେ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

2 Then the king gave orders that the wonder-workers, and the users of secret arts, and those who made use of evil powers, and the Chaldaeans, were to be sent for to make clear to the king his dreams. So they came and took their places before the king.ତେଣୁ ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଜଣାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଗଣ, ଗଣକ, ମଯାବୀ ଓ କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ। ଏଥି ରେ ସମାନେେ ଆସି ରାଜାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ।

3 And the king said to them, I have had a dream, and my spirit is troubled by the desire to have the dream made clear to me.ରାଜା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛି. ଆଉ ସହେି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବୁଝିବା ପାଇଁ ମାରେ ଆତ୍ମା ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ହେଉଅଛି।

4 Then the Chaldaeans said to the king in the Aramaean language, O King, have life for ever: give your servants an account of your dream, and we will make clear to you the sense of it.ତା'ପ ରେ କଲଦୀଯମାନେ ଅରାମୀଯ ଭାଷା ରେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ଚିରଜୀବି ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ, ଆପଣ ଏ ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବପ୍ନଟି କୁହନ୍ତୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବୁ।

5 The king made answer and said to the Chaldaeans, This is my decision: if you do not make clear to me the dream and the sense of it, you will be cut in bits and your houses made waste.ରାଜା କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଯାହା ସପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଥିଲି, ସେ ବିଷଯ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେତେ କହିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଏବଂ ତା'ପ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ କହିବା ଉଚିତ୍। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ରେ ବା ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ମାେତେ ନକୁହ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବାକୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦବେି। ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୃହସବୁ ଧୂଳିସାତ କରି ଖତ ରେ ପରିଣତ କରାୟିବ।

6 But if you make clear the dream and the sense of it, you will have from me offerings and rewards and great honour: so make clear to me the dream and the sense of it.ଆଉ ଯବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଓ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାଠାରୁେ ଉପହାର, ପୁରସ୍କାର ଓ ସମ୍ମାନ ପାଇବ। ଏଣୁ ସହେି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଓ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ମାେତେ କୁହ।

7 A second time they said in answer, Let the king give his servants an account of his dream, and we will make clear the sense.ପୁନର୍ବାର ବିଜ୍ଞ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମହାରାଜ, ଆପଣ ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବପ୍ନଟି ଜଣାନ୍ତୁ। ତାହା ହେଲେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବୁ।

8 The king made answer and said, I am certain that you are attempting to get more time, because you see that my decision is fixed;ରାଜା ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଜାଣେ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି କାଳବିଳମ୍ବ କରୁଛ କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହା ଦେଖ ଯେ, ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଆଦେଶ ହାଇୟୋଇଛି।

9 That if you do not make my dream clear to me there is only one fate for you: for you have made ready false and evil words to say before me till the times are changed: so give me an account of the dream, and I will be certain that you are able to make the sense of it clear.ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି ମାେତେ ସହେି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ରେ ନ ଜଣାଅ ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଦଣ୍ତ ପାଇବ। କାରଣ ସମୟ ଗଡାଇବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାେ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ମିଥ୍ଯା ଓ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନା ବାକ୍ଯ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହାଇେଅଛ। ଏଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସ୍ବପ୍ନଟି ମାେତେ କୁହ, ତାହା ହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେ ତହିଁର ଅର୍ଥ ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ପାରିବ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣିବି।

10 Then the Chaldaeans said to the king in answer, There is not a man on earth able to make clear the king's business; for no king, however great his power, has ever made such a request to any wonder-worker or user of secret arts or Chaldaean.କଲଦୀଯମାନେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲେ, ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଏପରି କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ନାହିଁ ଯେ କି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିପାରିବ? କାରଣ କୌଣସି ରାଜା, ପ୍ରଭୁ କିମ୍ବା ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା କୌଣସି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞକୁ, ଗଣକକୁ ଅଥବା କଲଦୀଯକୁ ଏପରି କଥା ପଗ୍ଭରିନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

11 The king's request is a very hard one, and there is no other who is able to make it clear to the king, but the gods, whose living-place is not with flesh.ଏବଂ ମହାରାଜ ଏକ ଅସାଧାରଣ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିଛନ୍ତି। କବଳେ ଦବେତାମାନେ ସହେି ପ୍ରଶ୍ନର ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ ପାରିବେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦବେତାମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

12 Because of this the king was angry and full of wrath, and gave orders for the destruction of all the wise men of Babylon.ଏହି କାରଣରୁ ରାଜା କ୍ରୋଧିତ ଓ କୋପାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ବାବିଲର ସକଳ ବିଦ୍ବାନ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।

13 So the order went out that the wise men were to be put to death; and they were looking for Daniel and his friends to put them to death.ରାଜାଜ୍ଞା ଘୋଷଣା କରାଗଲା ଯେ, ବିଦ୍ବାନ ଲୋକମାନେ ହତ ହବେେ। ଆଉ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ଓ ତା'ର ସାଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ କଲେ।

14 Then Daniel gave an answer with wisdom and good sense to Arioch, the captain of the king's armed men, who had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon;ଅରିଯୋକ୍ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ରାଜ ସନୋପତି ରାଜରକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କର ନତେୃତ୍ବ ନେଲେ। ସେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ବାବିଲୀଯ ବିଦ୍ବାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ବାହାରିଲେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ରେ ଓ ସୁବିବଚେନା ରେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ।

15 He made answer and said to Arioch, O captain of the king, why is the king's order so cruel? Then Arioch gave Daniel an account of the business.ଦାନିୟେଲ ଅରିଯୋକ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ରାଜଦଣ୍ତ ଏତେ କଠାେର କାହିଁକି?

16 And Daniel went in and made a request to the king to give him time and he would make clear the sense of his dream to the king.ଏଥି ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ୟାଇ ଆଉ କିଛି ଅଧିକ ସମୟ ଦବୋକୁ ନିବଦନେ କଲେ। ତାହା ହେଲେ ସେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବପ୍ନର ଅର୍ଥ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବେ।

17 And Daniel went to his house and gave his friends Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah the news:ତା'ପ ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ସ୍ବଗୃହକୁ ୟାଇ ତା'ର ସାଙ୍ଗ ହନାନୀଯ, ମୀଶାଯଲେ ଓ ଆସରିଯଙ୍କୁ ରାଜାଜ୍ଞା ବିଷଯ ରେ ସକଳ ବୃତ୍ତାନ୍ତ ଜଣାଇଲେ।

18 So that they might make a request for the mercy of the God of heaven in the question of this secret; so that Daniel and his friends might not come to destruction with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.ଦାନିୟେଲ ତା'ର ସାଙ୍ଗମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଲାଭ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବାକୁ କହିଲେ। ସ୍ବର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନିଗୂଢ ତଥ୍ଯ ଜଣାଇଲେ, ସେ ଓ ତା'ର ସାଙ୍ଗମାନେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁମୁଖରୁ ରକ୍ଷା ପାଇବେ।

19 Then the secret was made clear to Daniel in a vision of the night. And Daniel gave blessing to the God of heaven.ଏହାପ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଦାନିୟେଲକୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦଇେ ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଜଣାଇଲେ। ତହୁଁ ଦାନିୟେଲ ସ୍ବର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ କଲେ।

20 And Daniel said in answer, May the name of God be praised for ever and ever: for wisdom and strength are his:ଦାନିୟେଲ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି କହିଲେ,

21 By him times and years are changed: by him kings are taken away and kings are lifted up: he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those whose minds are awake:ସେ ସମୟ ଓ ଋତୁ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରନ୍ତି। ସେ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଦଚ୍ଯୁତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜପଦ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମନ୍ତ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁବିବଚେନା ଦିଅନ୍ତି।

22 He is the unveiler of deep and secret things: he has knowledge of what is in the dark, and the light has its living-place with him.ସେ ଗଭୀର ଓ ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷଯ ସବୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିପାରନ୍ତି। ଯେ ହତେୁ ଜ୍ଯୋତି ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବାସ କରେ। ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ଯାହା ଅଛି ସେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି।

23 I give you praise and worship, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and strength, and have now made clear to me what we were requesting from you: for you have given us knowledge of the king's business.ହେ ମାରେ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ସାମର୍ଥ୍ଯ ଦଇେଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମୁଁ ଯାହା ନିବଦନେ କରିଅଛି, ତାହା ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷଯ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଜଣାଇ ଅଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସବୁକିଛି ଜଣାଇଛ।

24 For this reason Daniel went to Arioch, to whom the king had given orders for the destruction of the wise men of Babylon, and said to him, Do not put to death the wise men of Babylon: take me in before the king and I will make clear to him the sense of the dream.ଦାନିୟେଲ ଅରିଯୋକ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କଲେ ୟିଏ କି ବାବିଲୀଯ ବିଦ୍ବାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ, ଦୟାକରି ବାବିଲୀଯ ବିଦ୍ବାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରନାହିଁ। ମାେତେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁକୁ ନଇେ ଗ୍ଭଲ। ମୁଁ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ରେ କହିବି ଓ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ମଧ୍ଯ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବି।

25 Then Arioch quickly took Daniel in before the king, and said to him, Here is a man from among the prisoners of Judah, who will make clear to the king the sense of the dream.ତେଣୁ ଅରିଯୋକ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ଶୀଘ୍ର ରାଜା ଛାମୁକୁ ନଲୋ ଏବଂ କହିଲା, ଯିହୁଦାର ନିର୍ବାସିତ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ପାଇଅଛି, ସେ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ସ୍ବପ୍ନର ଅର୍ଥ ଜଣାଇବେ।

26 The king made answer and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are you able to make clear to me the dream which I saw and its sense?ରାଜା ସହେି ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କଲେ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଦେଖିଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଓ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ମାେତେ ଜଣାଇପାରିବ?

27 Then Daniel said in answer to the king, No wise men, or users of secret arts, or wonder-workers, or readers of signs, are able to make clear to the king the secret he is searching for;ଦାନିୟେଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦଇେ କହିଲା, ମହାରାଜ, ଆପଣ ଯେଉଁ ନିଗୃଢ କଥା ପଗ୍ଭରି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ବିଦ୍ବାନ୍ ଲୋକ କିଅବା ଗଣକ ଅବା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ ଅଥବା ଶୁଭାଶୁଭବାଦୀମାନେ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

28 But there is a God in heaven, the unveiler of secrets, and he has given to King Nebuchadnezzar knowledge of what will take place in the last days. Your dreams and the visions of your head on your bed are these:ମାତ୍ର ସ୍ବର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହିଁ କବଳେ ନିଗୂଢ ବିଷଯମାନ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ପାରିବେ। ଆଉ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଘଟିବ ତାହା ମଧ୍ଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏହିସବୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ଥିଲା ଏବଂ ଏହି ଗୁଡିକୁ ଆପଣ ବିଛଣା ରେ ଶୋଇଥିଲା ବେଳେ ଦେଖିଲେ।

29 As for you, O King, the thoughts which came to you on your bed were of what will come about after this: and the unveiler of secrets has made clear to you what is to come.ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ଶୟ୍ଯା ଉପ ରେ ଆପଣ ଶୋଇଥିଲା ବେଳେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ କ'ଣ ଘଟିବ ବୋଲି ଚିନ୍ତା କଲେ। ଆଉ ଯେ ନିଗୂଢ ବିଷଯମାନ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରନ୍ତି, ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହା ଭବିଷ୍ଯତ ରେ ଘଟିବ ତାହା ଦର୍ଶନ ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ।

30 As for me, this secret is not made clear to me because of any wisdom which I have more than any living man, but in order that the sense of the dream may be made clear to the king, and that you may have knowledge of the thoughts of your heart.ମାତ୍ର କୌଣସି ଜୀବିତ ଲୋକର ଜ୍ଞାନ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମାରେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଅଧିକ ଅଛି ବୋଲି ଯେ ଏହି ନିଗୂଢ ବିଷଯ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ, ତାହା ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି ଅର୍ଥ ଜ୍ଞାତ କରାୟିବ ଓ ଆପଣ ଯେପରି ନିଜ ମନର ଚିନ୍ତା ଜାଣିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତାହା ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହାଇେଅଛି।

31 You, O King, were looking, and a great image was there. This image, which was very great, and whose glory was very bright, was placed before you: its form sent fear into the heart. ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ଆପଣ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରକାଣ୍ତ ପ୍ରତିମା ଦେଖିଲେ। ଏହା ଅତି ପରାକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ଓ ଅତିଶଯ ତଜେୋବନ୍ତ। ସହେି ପ୍ରତିମା ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲା ଓ ତହିଁର ଦୃଶ୍ଯ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଥିଲା।

32 As for this image, its head was made of the best gold, its breast and its arms were of silver, its middle and its sides were of brass,ସହେି ପ୍ରତିମାର ମସ୍ତକ ଶୁଦ୍ଧ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ, ତାହାର ବକ୍ଷ ଓ ବାହୁ ରେ ୗପ୍ୟମଯ ଓ ତାହାର ଉଦର ଓ ଜଙ୍ଘ ପିତ୍ତଳମଯ ଥିଲା।

33 Its legs of iron, its feet were in part of iron and in part of potter's earth.ତାହାର ଗୋଡଗୁଡିକ ଲୌହ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା ଓ ପାଦର କିଛି ଅଂଶ ଲୌହ ରେ ଓ କିଛି ଅଂଶ ମୃତ୍ତିକା ରେ ତିଆରି ହାଇେଥିଲା।

34 While you were looking at it, a stone was cut out, but not by hands, and it gave the image a blow on its feet, which were of iron and earth, and they were broken in bits.ଆପଣ ପ୍ରତିମାଟିକୁ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କରୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ କର୍ତ୍ତିତ ହାଇନେଥିବା ଏକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଶୂନ୍ଯ ରେ ଉଡିଆସି ସହେି ପ୍ରତିମାର ଲୌହ ଓ ମୃତ୍ତିକାମଯ ପାଦକୁ ଆଘାତ କରି ଖଣ୍ତ ବିଖଣ୍ତିତ କଲା।

35 Then the iron and the earth, the brass and the silver and the gold, were smashed together, and became like the dust on the floors where grain is crushed in summer; and the wind took them away so that no sign of them was to be seen: and the stone which gave the image a blow became a great mountain, covering all the earth.ତା'ପ ରେ ସଂଗେ ସଂଗେ ଲୌହ, ମୃତ୍ତିକା, ପିତ୍ତଳ, ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନା ଖଣ୍ତ ଖଣ୍ତ ହାଇେ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଗଲା। ଆଉ ସେ ସବୁ ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମକାଳୀନ ଖଳାର ତୁଷପରି ହେଲା। ବାଯୁ ସେସବୁକୁ ଉଡାଇ ନଇଗେଲା ଓ ତା'ର କିଛି ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ସହେି ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ଆଘାତ କରିଥିବା ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଏକ ପର୍ବତ ପରି ବଢିଲା ଓ ତାହା ସମୁଦାଯ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲା।

36 This is the dream; and we will make clear to the king the sense of it.ସ୍ବପ୍ନଟି ଏହି, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ତା'ର ଅର୍ଥ ଜଣାଇବୁ।

37 You, O King, king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the strength, and the glory,ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ଆପଣ ଜଣେ ମହାନ୍ ରାଜା। ସ୍ବର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ୍ଯ, ପରାକ୍ରମ, କ୍ଷମତା ଓ ମହିମା ଦଇେଅଛନ୍ତି।

38 Wherever the children of men are living; into whose hands he has given the beasts of the field and the birds of heaven, and has made you ruler over them all, you are the head of gold.ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ, ତନ୍ମଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥ ଭୂଚର ପଶୁଗଣ ଓ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଶକ୍ତିଦ୍ବାରା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାସନାଧିନ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ଆଉ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପ ରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ କତ୍ତୁର୍ତ୍ବ ଦଇେଅଛନ୍ତି। ଆପଣ ହିଁ ସହେି ପ୍ରତିମାର ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ ମସ୍ତକ ଅଟନ୍ତି।

39 And after you another kingdom, lower than you, will come to power; and a third kingdom, of brass, ruling over all the earth.ପୁଣି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପ ରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏକ ନ୍ଯୁନ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଉଠିବ ଓ ତାହା ହେଉଛି ରେ ୗପ୍ୟମଯ ଅଂଶ ଓ ତାହାପ ରେ ପିତ୍ତଳମଯ ତୃତୀୟ ଏକ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଉଠିବ, ତାହା ସମଗ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀ ଉପ ରେ କତ୍ତୁର୍ତ୍ବ କରିବ।

40 And the fourth kingdom will be strong as iron: because, as all things are broken and overcome by iron, so it will have the power of crushing and smashing down all the earth.ପୁଣି ତାହାପ ରେ ଚତୁର୍ଥରାଜ୍ଯ ଲୌହପରି ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବେ। ଲୌହ ଯେପରି ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯକୁ ଖଣ୍ତ ଖଣ୍ତ କରି ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରେ, ସହେିପରି ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯ ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ଖଣ୍ତ ଖଣ୍ତ କରି ଧୂଳିସାତ୍ କରିବ।

41 And as you saw the feet and toes, part of potter's work and part of iron, there will be a division in the kingdom; but there will be some of the strength of iron in it, because you saw the iron mixed with the potter's earth.ଆପଣ ଯେପରି ଦେଖିଲେ ସେ ପାଦ ଓ ପାଦର ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳି ଆଂଶିକ ଲୌହମଯ ଓ ଆଂଶିକ ମୃତ୍ତିକାମଯ ଥିଲା। ସହେିପରି ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯ ବିଭକ୍ତ ହବେ। ମାତ୍ର ତହିଁରେ ଲୌହର ଦୃଢତା ରହିବ କାରଣ କର୍ଦ୍ଦମ ରେ ଲୌହ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ଥିବାର ଆପଣ ଦେଖିଲେ।

42 And as the toes of the feet were in part of iron and in part of earth, so part of the kingdom will be strong and part of it will readily be broken.ଯେପରି ପାଦର ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳିସବୁ କିଛି ଲୌହମଯ ଓ କିଛି ମୃର୍ତ୍ତିକାମଯ ଥିଲା, ସହେିପରି ରାଜ୍ଯର ଏକ ଅଂଶ ସୁଦୃଢ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଅଂଶ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହବେ।

43 And as you saw the iron mixed with earth, they will give their daughters to one another as wives: but they will not be united one with another, even as iron is not mixed with earth.କିନ୍ତୁ ଲୌହ ଯେପରି ମୃତ୍ତିକା ରେ ସମ୍ପୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ, ସହେିପରି ରାଜ୍ଯଗୁଡିକର ଲୋକମାନେ ମିଶି ଯିବେ ମାତ୍ର ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇପୋରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

44 And in the days of those kings, the God of heaven will put up a kingdom which will never come to destruction, and its power will never be given into the hands of another people, and all these kingdoms will be broken and overcome by it, but it will keep its place for ever.ଚତୁର୍ଥ ରାଜ୍ଯର ରାଜତ୍ବ ସମୟରେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଗୋଟିଏ ରାଜ୍ଯ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ। ସହେି ରାଜ୍ଯ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ ହାଇେ ରହିବ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ତାହା ଅନ୍ୟ ହାତକୁ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ଏହା ଅନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଜ୍ଯଗୁଡିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରି ଦବେ।

45 Because you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that by it the iron and the brass and the earth and the silver and the gold were broken to bits, a great God has given the king knowledge of what is to take place in the future: the dream is fixed, and its sense is certain.ଏବଂ ଆପଣ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ରେ ଦେଖିଲେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକଦ୍ବାରା ଛଦେିତ ହାଇେ ନଥିବା ଏକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପର୍ବତରୁ ଆସିଲା ଓ ସହେି ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଲୌହ, ପିତ୍ତଳ, ମୃତ୍ତିକା, ରୂପା ଓ ସୁନାକୁ ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲା। ତେଣୁ ଯାହା ଏହାପ ରେ ଘଟିବ ତାହା ମହାନ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ। ଆଉ ଏହି ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଓ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ସତ୍ଯ।

46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar, falling down on his face, gave worship to Daniel, and gave orders for an offering and spices to be given to him;ସେତବେେଳେ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ମୁହଁ ମାଡି ପଡି ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲା ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦାନିୟେଲ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଓ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଧୂପ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ ଆଦେଶ କଲା।

47 And the king made answer to Daniel and said, Truly, your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings, and an unveiler of secrets, for you have been able to make this secret clear.ତତ୍ପ ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମସ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ବରଗଣର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ରାଜଗଣର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ଯେ ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷଯଗୁଡିକର ପ୍ରକାଶକୁ ଆଣନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଏହି ନିଗୂଢ କଥା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ଅଟ।

48 Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him offerings in great number, and made him ruler over all the land of Babylon, and chief over all the wise men of Babylon.ତା'ପ ରେ ରାଜା ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ଏକ ମହାନ୍ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତି କଲେ ଓ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ଉପହାରମାନ ଦେଲେ। ଆଉ ବାବିଲ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଉପ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତ କତ୍ତୁର୍ତ୍ବ ପଦ ଦଇେ ବାବିଲସ୍ଥ ସବୁ ବିଦ୍ବାନ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଅଧିପତି କଲେ।

49 And at Daniel's request, the king gave Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego authority over the business of the land of Babylon: but Daniel was kept near the king's person.ପୁଣି ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କ ଆବଦନେ କ୍ରମେ ରାଜା ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍ନଗୋଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲ ପ୍ରଦେଶର କେତକେ ମୁଖ୍ଯ କର୍ମଗ୍ଭରୀରୂପେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କଲେ। ମାତ୍ର ଦାନିୟେଲ ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଅଧିପତି ହାଇେ ରାଜ ଦ୍ବାର ରେ ରହିଲେ।
