ଏହି ସମୟ ମଧିଅରେ ଶିଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ଯା ବଢ଼ିଗଲା। ସେତବେେଳେ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ଭାଷା କହୁଥିବା ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ଏବ୍ରୀଭାଷା କହୁଥିବା ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିଧବାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚିତ ପରିମାଣ ରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ବଣ୍ଟା ନ ଯାଉଥିବା କାରଣରୁ ଏପରି ବଚସା ହେଲା।
