ସୋରର ରାଜା ହୀରମ୍ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦୂତଗଣ ପଠାଇଲେ। ହୀରମ୍ ମଧ୍ଯ ଏରସ କାଠ, ବଢାଇ ଓ ରାଜମିସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଘର ତିଆରି କଲେ।

ସୋରର ରାଜା ହୀରମ୍ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ସାଙ୍ଗ ଥିଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ, ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ଦାଉଦ୍ଙ୍କ ପରେ ଶ ଲୋମନ ନୂଆ ରାଜା ରୂପେ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବାହାକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ।

ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ଓ ହୀରମଙ୍କର ରାଜମିସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଓ ବାବିଲୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ପଥରଗୁଡିକୁ ଖାଦେନ କଲେ। ଏହି ରୂପେ ସମାନେେ ମନ୍ଦିର ନିର୍ମାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ କାଠ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ।

ତା'ପରେ ହୀରମ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏହି ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ସହିତ ଏକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତାବହକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ରାଜା ଶଲୋମନ ଯାହା ଆଶା କରନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ଶୁଣିଲି, ମୁଁ ଏରସବୃକ୍ଷ ଓ ଦବଦୋରୁ କାଠ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ଯାଉଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭର କାମ ପୂରଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ।
