2 Samuel 5:1-5 in Oriya

1 Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

2 Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the Lord said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.

3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the Lord: and they anointed David king over Israel.

4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.

1 ତା'ପରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ହିବ୍ରୋଣଠାରେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିଜ ପରିବାର।

2 ଏପରିକି ଯେତବେେଳେ ଶାଉଲ ରାଜା ଥିଲେ ସେତବେେଳେ ଆପଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଆଗଇେ ନଇେଥିଲେ। ଆଉ ଆପଣ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ସହେି ଲୋକ ଯେ କି ଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନିରାପଦ ରେ ଫରୋଇ ଆଣିଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି, 'ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ମଷେପାଳକ ହବେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରିବ।'

3 ତେଣୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ନେତାମାନେ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତ ପାଇଁ ହିବ୍ରୋଣକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଲେ। ତହିଁରେ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଖ ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଚକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତି କଲେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ରାଜା ରୂପେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତ କଲେ।
So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the Lord: and they anointed David king over Israel.

4 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ତିରିଷବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ଥିଲା, ସେ ରାଜତ୍ବ କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ସେ ଗ୍ଭଳିଷବର୍ଷ ଧରି ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲେ।
David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.

5 ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ, ସେ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦା ଉପରେ ସାତ ବର୍ଷ ଓ ଛଅ ମାସ ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲେ; ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ସେ ୟିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଶାଲମ ରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଓ ୟିହକ୍ସ୍ଟଦା ଉପରେ ତତେିଶ ବର୍ଷ ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲେ।
In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
