2 Samuel 4 - DBY (Oriya)

1 And when Saul's son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were enfeebled, and all Israel was troubled.ଶାଉଲର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ବୋତ୍ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ପାଇଲେ ଯେ ଅବନ୍ର ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କରିଛି। ଈଶ୍ବୋତ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଭୟଭୀତ ହାଇପଡେିଲେ।

2 And Saul's son had two men, captains of bands: the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin; for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin.ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଜଣ ପୁରୁଷ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଈଶ୍ବୋଶତ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦେଖିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲେ। ଏହି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଜଣ ପୁରୁଷ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିନାଯକ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ରେଖବ୍ ଓ ବାନା, ବରେୋତୀଯ ରିମ୍ମୋଣର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ବରେୋତୀଯ ନଗରର ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ରେ ଗଣିତ ଥିଲେ।

3 And the Beerothites had fled to Gittaim, and were sojourners there until this day.କିନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତ ବରେୋତୀଯମାନେ ଗିତ୍ତଯିମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପଳାଇଲେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଆଜି ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

4 And Jonathan Saul's son had a son that was lame of [his] feet. He was five years old when the news came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jizreel; and his nurse took him up and fled. And it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.ଶାଉଲଙ୍କର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଯୋନାଥନଙ୍କର ଏକ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଥିଲେ, ଯାହାଙ୍କର ନାମଥିଲା ମଫୀବୋଶତ୍। ଯେତବେେଳେ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାତ୍ର ପାଞ୍ଚ ବର୍ଷ ବଯସ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ସେତବେେଳେ ୟିଷ୍ରିଯଲରେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଖବର ଆସିଲା ଯେ, ଶାଉଲ ଏବଂ ଯୋନାଥନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରାୟାଇଛି। ଯେତବେେଳେ ମଫୀବୋଶତ୍ର ଧାତ୍ରୀ ଏ ଖବର ପାଇଲା, ସେ ମଫୀବୋଶତକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉଠାଇଲା ଏବଂ ସେ ଭୟ ରେ ଦୌଡି ପଳାଇଲା। କିନ୍ତୁ ପିଲାଟି ତଳେ ପଡିଗଲା ଏବଂ ତା'ପରେ ତା'ର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ଗୋଡ େଛାଟ ହାଇଗେଲା।

5 And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went and came in about the heat of the day into the house of Ishbosheth, who was taking his noonday rest.ରେଖବ୍ ଓ ବାନା, ୟିଏ କି ବରେୋତୀଯ ରିମ୍ମୋଣର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯାନ୍ନ ସମୟରେ ଈଶ୍ବୋଶତ୍ଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ବୋତ୍ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ନେଉଥିଲେ, କାରଣ ସହେି ଅପରାହ୍ନ ବହକ୍ସ୍ଟତ ଗରମ ଥିଲା।

6 And they came thither into the midst of the house, [as though] they would fetch wheat; and they smote him in the belly; and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.ରେଖବ ଓ ବାନା ଇଶ୍ବୋଶତ୍ର ଗୃହ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ, ସତେ ଯେପରି ସମାନେେ ଗହମ ନବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି। ଇଶ୍ବୋଶତ୍ ସହେି ସମୟରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଶାଇେବା ଘ ରେ ବିଛଣା ଉପରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ନେଉଥିଲେ।

7 They came into the house, as he lay on his bed in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him; and they took his head, and went by the way of the plain all night.ସହେି ସମୟରେ ରେଖବ୍ ଓ ବାନା ତାଙ୍କର ପଟେ ରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଭୂଷି ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ କାଟି ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନଇେ ଆସିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ଦଇେ ରାତିସାରା ଚାଲିଲେ।

8 And they brought the head of Ishbosheth to David in Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, thine enemy who sought thy life; and Jehovah has given to my lord the king to be avenged this day of Saul and of his seed.ସମାନେେ ଆସି ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ ପହନ୍ଚିଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଇଶ୍ବୋଶତ୍ର କଟାମକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ ଦେଲେ।

9 Then David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, [As] Jehovah liveth, who has redeemed my soul out of all distress,ତଥାପି ଦାଉଦ ରିମ୍ମୋଣର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ରଗଣ ରେଖବ୍ ଓ ବାନାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ସେ ମାେତେ ସମସ୍ତ ବିପଦରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି।

10 when one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead! and he was in his own sight a messenger of good, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag -- to whom forsooth I should give a reward for his good tidings:କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଜଣେ ନିଜକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଭବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଆଣିଛି ବୋଲି ମନେ କରି ମାେତେ କହିଲା, ' ଦେଖନ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶାଉଲ ମରିଅଛି।' ମୁ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ପକ୍ସ୍ଟରଷ୍କାର ଦବୋ ପରିବର୍ତେ ଯାହା ସେ ଆଶା କରିଥିଲା, ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଦ୍ବାରା ସିକ୍ଲଗ୍ ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲି।

11 how much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? and should I not now demand his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?ତେଣୁ ମୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଭୂମିରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରିବି। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଷ୍ଟ ପ୍ରକୃତିର ଲୋକ, ଏକ ଧର୍ମପରାଯଣ ଲୋକକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଛ, ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ତା'ର ନିଜ ଗୃହ ରେ ତା'ର ଶୟ୍ଯା ରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ନେଉଥିଲା।

12 And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged [them] up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.ତେଣୁ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ ତାଙ୍କର ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟବା ସୈନିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ରେଖବ ଓ ବାନାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ରେଖବ ଓ ବାନାର ହସ୍ତ ଓ ପାଦ କାଟି ହିବ୍ରୋଣସ୍ଥ ପୋଖରୀ ନିକଟରେ ଝକ୍ସ୍ଟଲାଇ ଦେଲେ। ଏବଂ ଇଶ୍ବୋଶତ୍ର ମସ୍ତକ ନଇେ ହିବ୍ରୋଣ ରେ ଅବ୍ନର କବର ରେ କବର ଦେଲେ।
