ଯୋୟାବ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ଆସିଲେ ଏବଂ ବୈଥମାଖାସ୍ଥୀତ ଆବଲେ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଓ ନଗର ନିକଟରେ ଏକ ତିପି ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ କଲେ। ତାହା ଗଡପାଚରେୀ ପାଖ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହେଲା, ତହିଁରେ ଯୋୟାବର ସମସ୍ତ ସଙ୍ଗୀଲୋକ ପାଚରେୀ ଭୂମିସାତ୍ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲାଗିଲେ।

ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି। ଶତ୍ରୁସୈନ୍ଯ ନଗରର ସକଳ ଗୃହ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜଗଣର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରାସାଦ ଭୂମିସାତ୍ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ଉପ ରେ ସିଡ଼ି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ନଗର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ।
