କିନ୍ତୁ ହିଜକିଯ ଓ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ହୃଦଯ ଓ ଜୀବନକୁ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ନିଜକୁ ନମ୍ର କଲେ ଓ ଆଉ ଗର୍ବ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ହିଜକିଯ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପରେ କୋରଧ କଲେ।
