ଆସା ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଇଥିଓପିଯ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳଙ୍କ ପେଛ ପେଛ ଗରାର୍ ସହର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ। ବହୁ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ସାଂଘାତିକ ଭାବରେ କ୍ଷତାକ୍ତ ହେଲେ ଏବଂ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ହାଇପୋରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଦ୍ବାରା ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇଗେଲେ ଆସା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅନକେ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଲୁଟି ନେଲେ।

ଆସା ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଇଥିଓପିଯ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳଙ୍କ ପେଛ ପେଛ ଗରାର୍ ସହର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ। ବହୁ ସଂଖ୍ଯକ ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣ ସାଂଘାତିକ ଭାବରେ କ୍ଷତାକ୍ତ ହେଲେ ଏବଂ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ ହାଇପୋରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଦ୍ବାରା ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇଗେଲେ ଆସା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅନକେ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଲୁଟି ନେଲେ।
