1 Chronicles 21 - YLT (Oriya)

1 And there standeth up an adversary against Israel, and persuadeth David to number Israel,ଶଯତାନ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହେଲା। ଶଯତାନ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଲା।

2 And David saith unto Joab, and unto the heads of the people, `Go, number Israel from Beer-Sheba even unto Dan, and bring unto me, and I know their number.'ତେଣୁ ଦାଉଦ ଯୋୟାବ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ନେତାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ୟାଅ, ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କର। ବରେଶବୋ ସହରଠାରୁ ଦାନ ସହର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦେଶ ରେ ଥିବା ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଜଣକୁ ଗଣନା କର। ଏହାପରେ ଆସି ମାେତେ ସତ୍ଯ କୁହ, ତବେେ ଦେଶର ଲୋକସଂଖ୍ଯା କେତେ, ତାହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣିପାରିବି।

3 And Joab saith, `Jehovah doth add to His people as they are a hundred times; are they not, my lord, O king, all of them to my lord for servants? why doth my lord seek this? why is he for a cause of guilt to Israel?'କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୋୟାବ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଦେଶକୁ 10 0 ଗୁଣ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ କରନ୍ତୁ। ମହୋଦଯ, ସମଗ୍ର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦାସ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ହେ ମାରେ ମହାଶୟ ଓ ରାଜା, ଆପଣା କାହିଁକି ଏହା କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି ? ଏହା ଦ୍ବାରା ଆପଣ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାପ ଦୋଷ ରେ ଦୋଷୀ କରାଇବେ।

4 And the word of the king `is' severe against Joab, and Joab goeth out, and goeth up and down in all Israel, and cometh in to Jerusalem.କିନ୍ତୁ ଦାଉଦ ନିଜ ଜିଦ ରେ ଅଟଳ ରହିଲେ। ରାଜା ଯାହା ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ, ଯୋୟାବଙ୍କୁ ତାହା କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିଲା। ତେଣୁ ଯୋୟାବ ଗଲେ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସାରା ଦେଶ ମଧିଅରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଯୋୟାବ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଫରେି ଆସିଲେ,

5 And Joab giveth the account of the numbering of the people unto David, and all Israel is a thousand thousand and a hundred thousand, each drawing sword, and Judah `is' four hundred and seventy thousand, each drawing sword.ଓ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ଜଣାଇଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧିଅରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରୁଥିବା 11,00,000 ଜଣ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ। ଯିହୁଦା ରେ ଖ' ବ୍ଯବହାର କରୁଥିବା 4,70,000 ଜଣ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ।

6 And Levi and Benjamin he hath not numbered in their midst, for the word of the king was abominable with Joab.ଯୋୟାବ ଲବେୀ ଓ ବିନ୍ଯାମୀନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କରି ନ ଥିଲେ। କାରଣ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଆଦେଶ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଅପ୍ରୀତିକର ଲାଗୁଥିଲା।

7 And it is evil in the eyes of God concerning this thing, and He smiteth Israel,ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଏକ ମନ୍ଦକର୍ମ କଲେ। ତେଣୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେଲେ।

8 and David saith unto God, `I have sinned exceedingly, in that I have done this thing; and now, cause to pass away, I pray Thee, the iniquity of Thy servant, for I have acted very foolishly.'ଏହାପର ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଅତି ମୂର୍ଖତାର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଅଛି। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କରି ମୁଁ ଏକ ଜଘନ୍ଯ ପାପ କରିଅଛି। ମୁଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରୁଅଛି, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ମାରେ ସହେି ପାପକୁ କ୍ଷମା କର।

9 And Jehovah speaketh unto Gad, seer of David, saying:ଗାଦ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତା ଥିଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଗାଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ୟାଅ ଓ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କୁହ : ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତିନି ଗୋଟି ବିଷଯ ଦେଉଅଛୁ।

10 `Go, and thou hast spoken unto David, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Three -- I am stretching out unto thee; choose for thee one of these, and I do `it' to thee.'ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତନ୍ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ମନୋନୀତ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁଟିକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିବ, ସହେି ଅନୁୟାଯୀ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହବେ।

11 And Gad cometh in unto David, and saith to him, `Thus said Jehovah, Take for thee --ଏହାପରେ ଗାଦ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିପରି କହନ୍ତି, 'ଦାଉଦ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେଉଁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ରେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ ହବୋକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତାହା ମନୋନୀତ କର : ତିନିବର୍ଷ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ହବେ କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ତିନିମାସ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପେଛ ପେଛ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଧରି ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବେ ଅଥବା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତିନି ଦିନ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଭୋଗିବେ।

12 either for three years -- famine, or three months to be consumed from the face of thine adversaries, even the sword of thine enemies to overtake, or three days the sword of Jehovah, even pestilence in the land, and a messenger of Jehovah destroying in all the border of Israel; and now, see; what word do I return to Him who is sending me?'ଦେଶସାରା ଭୟଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯାଧି ବ୍ଯାପି ୟିବ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧ୍ଯ ଦଇେ ଯିବେ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବେ।' ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ୟିଏ ମାେତେ ପଠାଇଥିଲେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କେଉଁ ଉତ୍ତରଟି ନଇୟିବେି ?

13 And David saith unto Gad, `I am greatly distressed, let me fall, I pray thee, into the hand of Jehovah, for very many `are' His mercies, and into the hand of man let me not fall.'ଦାଉଦ ଗାଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ବଡ଼ ସମସ୍ଯା ରେ ପଡ଼ିଅଛି। କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଦ୍ବାରା ମାରେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହେଉ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଚା ହେଁ ନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦୟାଳୁ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ମାେତେ କିପ୍ରକା ରେ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ କରାୟିବ, ତାହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହିଁ ସ୍ଥିର କରନ୍ତୁ।

14 And Jehovah giveth a pestilence in Israel, and there fall of Israel seventy thousand men,ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ମଧ୍ଯକୁ ଭୟଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯାଧି ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲେ ଏବଂ 70,000 ଲୋକ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କଲେ।

15 and God sendeth a messenger to Jerusalem to destroy it, and as he is destroying Jehovah hath seen, and is comforted concerning the evil, and saith to the messenger who `is' destroying, `Enough, now, cease thy hand.' And the messenger of Jehovah is standing by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite,ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଜଣେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ଯେତବେେଳେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହା ଦେଖି ଦୁଃଖିତ ହେଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସ୍ଥିର କଲେ। ବିନାଶ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସାଧନ କରୁଥିବା ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ବନ୍ଦ କର ! ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା ! ସହେି ସମୟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ୟିବୂଷୀଯ ଅରଣନର ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇେଥିଲେ।

16 and David lifteth up his eyes, and seeth the messenger of Jehovah standing between the earth and the heavens, and his sword drawn in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem, and David falleth, and the elders, covered with sackcloth, on their faces.ଦାଉଦ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବଆଡ଼େ ଚାହଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ଆକାଶ ରେ ଦେଖିଲେ। ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ନଗରୀ ଉପରେ ତାଙ୍କର ଖଡ୍ଗ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ରଖିଥିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଦାଉଦ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗମାନେ ମୁହଁ ମାଡ଼ି ଭୂମିରେ ପଡ଼ିଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗମାନେ ନିଜର ଦୁଃଖପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଶଷେ ବସ୍ତ୍ରମାନ ପିନ୍ଧିଥିଲେ।

17 And David saith unto God, `Did not I -- I say to number the people? Yea, I it `is' who have sinned, and done great evil: and these, the flock, what did they? O Jehovah, my God, let, I pray Thee, Thy hand be on me, and on the house of my father, and not on Thy people -- to be plagued.'ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ହିଁ ପାପ କରିଥିବା ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ! ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ଆଦେଶ ଦଇେଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ମନ୍ଦକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲି। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ କୌଣସି ମନ୍ଦ କରି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମାେତେ ଓ ମାରେ ପରିବାରକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡିତ କର। କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରୁଥିବା ଏହି ଭୟଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯାଧିକୁ ଦୂର କର।

18 And the messenger of Jehovah spake unto Gad, saying for David, `Surely David doth go up to raise an altar to Jehovah in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.'ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ଗାଦଙ୍କୁ କଥା କହିଲେ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପାସନା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ କୁହ। ଦାଉଦକୁ ୟିବୂଷୀଯ ଅରଣନର ଶସ୍ଯଦଳିବା ସ୍ଥାନ ନିକଟରେ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।

19 And David goeth up by the word of Gad, that he spake in the name of Jehovah.ଗାଦ ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷଯ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ ଓ ଦାଉଦ ଅରଣନର ଶସ୍ଯଦଳିବା ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଗଲେ।

20 And Ornan turneth back, and seeth the messenger, and his four sons `are' with him, hiding themselves, and Ornan is threshing wheat.ଅରଣନ୍ ଗହମ ଦଳୁଥିଲେ। ଅରଣନ୍ ବୁଲି ପଡ଼ିଲେ ଓ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିଲେ। ଅରଣନ୍ଙ୍କ ଚାରି ପୁତ୍ର ଲୁଚିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଗଲେ।

21 And David cometh in unto Ornan, and Ornan looketh attentively, and seeth David, and goeth out from the threshing-floor, and boweth himself to David -- face to the earth.ଦାଉଦ ଅରଣନ୍ଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ। ଅରଣନ୍ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ଶସ୍ଯଦଳିବା ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଉଠି ଆସି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ ଓ ଭୂମି ଆଡ଼କୁ ମୁହଁ କରି ମଥାନତ କଲେ।

22 And David saith unto Ornan, `Give to me the place of the threshing-floor, and I build in it an altar to Jehovah; for full silver give it to me, and the plague is restrained from the people.'ଦାଉଦ ଅରଣନ୍ଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶସ୍ଯଦଳିବା ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ମାେତେ ବିକ୍ରୀ କର। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତାହାର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦବେି। ତବେେ ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବି। ଆଉ ତା'ପରେ ଏହି ମହାମାରୀ ଦୂର ହବେ।

23 And Ornan saith unto David, `Take to thee -- and my lord the king doth that which is good in his eyes: see, I have given the oxen for burnt-offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for a present; the whole I have given.'ଅରଣନ୍ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଶସ୍ଯଦଳିବା ସ୍ଥାନ ଆପଣ ନିଅନ୍ତୁ। ଆପଣ ମାରେସ୍ବାମୀ ଓ ରାଜା ଅଟନ୍ତି। ଆପଣ ଯାହା ଚାହାଁନ୍ତି, ତାହା କରନ୍ତୁ। ଦେଖନ୍ତୁ, ହାମବେଳି ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ବଳଦ ଦବେି। ନିଆଁ ଜାଳିବା ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ କାଠ ଦବେି। ଶସ୍ଯ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗାର୍ଥେ ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଗହମ ଦବେି।

24 And king David saith to Ornan, `Nay, for I surely buy for full silver; for I do not lift up that which is thine to Jehovah, so as to offer a burnt-offering without cost.'କିନ୍ତୁ ରାଜା ଦାଉଦ ଅରଣନ୍ଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ନା, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦବେି। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ କିଛି ନଇେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଦବେି ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ବିନା ମୂଲ୍ଯ ରେ ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବି ନାହିଁ।

25 And David giveth to Ornan for the place shekels of gold `in' weight six hundred;ତେଣୁ ଦାଉଦ ଅରଣନ୍ଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାଯ 6000 ଶକେଲ ସୁନା ଦେଲେ।

26 and David buildeth there an altar to Jehovah, and offereth burnt-offerings and peace-offerings, and calleth unto Jehovah, and He answereth him with fire from the heavens on the altar of the burnt-offering.ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଉପାସନା କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦାଉଦ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ହାମବେଳି ଏବଂ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗରୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ପଠାଇ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ। ହାମବେଳି, ନବୈେଦ୍ଯ ଉପରେ ସହେି ଅଗ୍ନି ଅବତରଣ କଲା।

27 And Jehovah saith to the messenger, and he turneth back his sword unto its sheath.ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଗଦୂତଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଖଡ୍ଗ ଖାପରେ ରଖିବାକୁ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ।

28 At that time when David seeth that Jehovah hath answered him in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificeth there;ଦାଉଦ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅରଣନ୍ଙ୍କ ଶସ୍ଯଦଳିବା ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ତେଣୁ ଦାଉଦ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ବଳିଦାନ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ।

29 and the tabernacle of Jehovah that Moses made in the wilderness, and the altar of the burnt-offering, `are' at that time in a high place, in Gibeon;ଗିବିଯୋନ ସହରର ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ଓ ହାମବେଳି, ନବୈେଦ୍ଯର ବଦେୀ ଥିଲା। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ମରୁଭୂମିରେ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ମାଶାେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

30 and David is not able to go before it to seek God, for he hath been afraid because of the sword of the messenger of Jehovah.ଦାଉଦ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସହିତ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପବିତ୍ର ତମ୍ବୁ ମଧ୍ଯକୁ ୟାଇପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ, କାରଣ ସେ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଖଡ୍ଗକୁ ଦାଉଦ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଭୟ କରୁଥିଲେ।
