அப்பொழுது மோசே தன் மாமனை நோக்கி: தேவனிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படி ஜனங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் வருகிறார்கள்.

ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசலிலே மோசேக்கும், ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாருக்கும், பிரபுக்களுக்கும், சபையனைத்திற்கும் முன்பாக நின்று:

குஷ்டரோகிகள் யாவரையும், பிரமியமுள்ளவர்கள் யாவரையும், சவத்தினால் தீட்டுப்பட்டவர்கள் யாவரையும் பாளயத்திலிருந்து விலக்கிவிட இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குக் கட்டளையிடு.

செத்துப்போனவனுடைய பிரேதத்தைத் தொட்டவன் ஏழுநாள் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்.

வெளியிலே பட்டயத்தால் வெட்டுண்டவனையாவது, செத்தவனையாவது, மனித எலும்பையாவது, பிரேதக்குழியையாவது, தொட்டவன் எவனும் ஏழுநாள் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்.

இப்பொழுது என் சொல்லைக்கேளும், உமக்கு ஒரு ஆலோசனை சொல்லுகிறேன்; தேவனும் உம்மோடுகூட இருப்பார், நீர் தேவசந்நிதியிலே ஜனங்களுக்காக இரும்; விசேஷித்தவைகளைத் தேவனிடத்தில் கொண்டுபோய்;

அவர்கள் எப்பொழுதும் ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரித்தார்கள்; வருத்தமான காரியங்களைமாத்திரம் மோசேயினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; சிறிய காரியங்களையெல்லாம் தாங்களே தீர்த்தார்கள்.

சுத்தமான ஒருவன் ஈசோப்பை எடுத்து, அந்த ஜலத்திலே தோய்த்து, கூடாரத்தின்மேலும் அதிலுள்ள சகல பணிமுட்டுகளின்மேலும் அங்கேயிருக்கிற ஜனங்களின்மேலும் தெளிக்கிறதுமல்லாமல், எலும்பையாகிலும் வெட்டுண்டவனையாகிலும் செத்தவனையாகிலும் பிரேதக்குழியையாகிலும் தொட்டவன்மேலும் தெளிக்கக்கடவன்.

அவர்கள் காய்பாவினிடத்திலிருந்து இயேசுவைத் தேசாதிபதியின் அரமனைக்குக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; அப்பொழுது விடியற்காலமாயிருந்தது. தீட்டுப்படாமல் பஸ்காவைப் புசிக்கத்தக்கதாக, அவர்கள் தேசாதிபதியின் அரமனைக்குள் பிரவேசியாதிருந்தார்கள்.

பிரேதம் கிடக்கும் இடத்தில் போகாமலும், தன் தகப்பனுக்காகவும் தன் தாய்க்காகவும் தன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாமலும்,

அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் ஜாதியான அந்த ஸ்திரீயின் மகன் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தை நிந்தித்து தூஷித்தான். அவனை மோசேயினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். அவன் தாயின்பேர் செலோமித்; அவன் தாண் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய திப்ரியின் குமாரத்தி.

அவன் கர்த்தருக்கென்று விரதங்காக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் யாதொரு பிரேதத்தண்டையில் போகக் கூடாது.

விறகுகளைப் பொறுக்கின அந்த மனிதனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தவர்கள், அவனை மோசே ஆரோன் என்பவர்களிடத்துக்கும் சபையார் அனைவரிடத்துக்கும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

மோசே அவர்களுடைய நியாயத்தைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுபோனான்.
