Zephaniah 1:13
तब तिनीहरूको सबै सम्पत्ति लुटिनेछन्, अनि घरहरू नष्ट हुनेछन्। तिनीहरूले घर बनाए तापनि त्यसमा बस्न पाउँने छैनन्। तिनीहरूले दाखको बोट रोपे पनि त्यसको दाखरस खान पाउने छैनन्।”

| a desolation: | לִשְׁמָמָ֑ה | lišmāmâ | leesh-ma-MA |
| they shall also build | וּבָנ֤וּ | ûbānû | oo-va-NOO |
| houses, | בָתִּים֙ | bottîm | voh-TEEM |
| but not | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| inhabit | יֵשֵׁ֔בוּ | yēšēbû | yay-SHAY-voo |
| them; and they shall plant | וְנָטְע֣וּ | wĕnoṭʿû | veh-note-OO |
| vineyards, | כְרָמִ֔ים | kĕrāmîm | heh-ra-MEEM |
| but not | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| drink | יִשְׁתּ֖וּ | yištû | yeesh-TOO |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the wine | יֵינָֽם׃ | yênām | yay-NAHM |
