Acts 24 - BBE (Nepali)

1 And after five days, the high priest, Ananias, came with certain of the rulers, and an expert talker, one Tertullus; and they made a statement to Felix against Paul.पाँचदिन पछि हनानिया सिजरिया गए। उनी प्रधान पूजाहारी थिए। उनले कतिपय बुढा यहूदी अगुवाहरू र तर्तुल्लस नाउँका वकीललाई आफ्नो साथमा ल्याए। तिनीहरू राज्यपालकको सामु पावलको विरुद्ध मुद्दा उठाउन सिजरिया गए।

2 And when he had been sent for, Tertullus, starting his statement, said, Because by you we are living in peace, and through your wisdom wrongs are put right for this nation,पावललाई सभामा डाकियो अनि तर्तुल्लसले उनको विरुद्ध यसो भन्दै मुद्दा पेश गर्न थाले,“महामहिम फेलिक्स, तपाईंले गर्दा नै हाम्रा मानिसहरूले शान्ति उपभोग गरिरहेका छन् अनि तपाईंकै दूरर्दशिताले हाम्रो देशमा हुन पर्ने सुधारहरू भए।

3 In all things and in all places we are conscious of our great debt to you, most noble Felix.हामी ती कुराहरूका लागि तपाईंलाई प्रत्येक ठाउँमा र हरेक तरिकाले धन्यवाद प्रकट गर्छौ।

4 But, so that I may not make you tired, I make a request to you of your mercy, to give hearing to a short statement.तर म तपाईंको धेरै समय नष्ट गर्न चाहँदिन। यसर्थ म केही शब्दमा तपाई अघि मुद्दा पेश गर्नेछु। दया गरी, धैर्य धारण गरिदिनु होला।

5 For this man, in our opinion, is a cause of trouble, a maker of attacks on the government among Jews through all the empire, and a chief mover in the society of the Nazarenes:यो मानिस एक समस्या ल्याउने मानिस हो र यसले जताततै संसारभरि यहूदीहरू माझ दङ्गा मचाँउछ। यो नासरीदलका नेता हो।

6 Who, in addition, was attempting to make the Temple unclean: whom we took,यसले मन्दिर अपवित्र बनाउन खोजिरहेको थियो तर हामीले यसलाई रोक्यौ।

7 []जब तपाईंले यस मानिसलाई जाँच गर्नु हुनेछ हामीले

8 And from whom you will be able, by questioning him yourself, to get knowledge of all the things which we say against him.उमाथि लाएको सबै दोषहरू सत्य हुन भन् आफै बुझ्नु हुनेछ।”

9 And the Jews were in agreement with his statement, saying that these things were so.अन्य यहूदीहरू सहमत भए अनि भने, “यी कूराहरू साँचि नै सत्य हुन्।”

10 Then when the ruler had given him a sign to make his answer, Paul said, Because I have knowledge that you have been a judge over this nation for a number of years, I am glad to make my answer:राज्यपालकले पावललाई बोल्ने संकेत गर्नुभयो। यसकारण पावलले राज्यपाललाई जवाफ दिए, “राज्यपाल फेलिक्स, म जान्दछु कि तपाईं धेरै समयदेखि यस राष्ट्रको न्यायकर्ता हुनुहुन्छ। यसर्थ म आफ्नो बचाउ पक्ष पेश गर्न पाउँदा खुशी छु।

11 Seeing that you are able to make certain of the fact that it is not more than twelve days from the time when I came up to Jerusalem for worship;म यरूशलेममा आराधाना गर्नलाई बाह्र दिन अघि मात्र गएँ। तपाईं आफै यो सत्य हो भनेर जाँच्न सक्नु हुन्छ।

12 And they have not seen me in argument with any man in the Temple, or working up the feelings of the people, in the Synagogues or in the town:यी यहूदीहरू जसले मलाई दोष लगाए उनीहरूले मलाई मन्दिरमा कसैसंग बोलेको भेटेनन्। मैले कतै सभाघर मन्दिरमा अथवा यो शहरको अन्यत्र कतै समस्या खडा गर्न भीड जम्मा गरेको छैन।

13 And they are not able to give facts in support of the things which they say against me now.ती यहूदीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा अहिले जे दोषारोपण गरे त्यसको प्रमाण दिन सक्तैनन्।

14 But this I will say openly to you, that I do give worship to the God of our fathers after that Way, which to them is not the true religion: but I have belief in all the things which are in the law and in the books of the prophets:तर म तपाईंलाई भन्दैछुः म हाम्रा पिता पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्वरलाई येशूका चेलाले जस्तै आराधना गर्दछु। यहूदीहरू भन्छन् येशूको मार्ग गल्ती हो। तर मोशाको व्यवस्थाहरूमा बताएको प्रत्येक कुरो अनि अगमवक्ताहरूले किताबमा लेखेकाहरू म विश्वास गर्छु।

15 Hoping in God for that which they themselves are looking for, that there will be a coming back from the dead for upright men and wrongdoers.म परमेश्वरमा त्यही आशा गर्छु जो यी यहूदीहरू गर्छन् कि धर्मी अनि अधर्मी मृत्युबाट बौरी उठनेछ ।

16 And in this, I do my best at all times to have no reason for shame before God or men.यही कारणले म सधैं परमेश्वर अनि मानिसहरूको अघि त्यही गर्ने प्रयास गर्छु जुन मेरो विश्वासमा सही हुन्छ।

17 Now after a number of years I came to give help and offerings to my nation:“म धेरै र्वषदेखि यरूशलेमबाट टाढा रहेको थिए। म त्यहाँ मेरा मानिसहरूका निम्ति केही दानको उपहारहरू लिएर बलि चढाउनु फर्केको थिएँ।

18 And having been made clean, I was in the Temple, but not with a great number of people, and not with noise: but there were certain Jews from Asia,जति बेला तिनीहरूले मलाई मन्दिरमा भेटे मैले शुद्धिकरण विधि सिद्धाएको थिएँ। मैले मेरो वरिपरि कुनै भीड जम्मा गरेको थिइन् न त त्यहाँ मैले कुनै प्रकारको अशान्ति नै सृष्टि गरेको थिंए।

19 And it would have been better if they had come here to make a statement, if they have anything against me.तर कतिपय एशियाबाट आएका यहूदीहरू त्यहाँ थिए। यदि तिनीहरूसंग साँच्चै मेरो विरोधमा केही गवाही भए त्यो प्रमाण गर्न तिनीहरू यहीं हुन पर्ने

20 Or let these men here present say what wrongdoing was seen in me when I was before the Sanhedrin,अथवा यहूदीहरूलाई जो यहाँ छन् सोध्नु होस् यदि तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्ध केही गल्तीहरू पाएका छन् कि जति वेला म यरूशलेममा यहूदीहरूको एक महासभामा थिएँ।

21 But only this one thing which I said among them in a loud voice, I am this day being judged on the question of the coming back from the dead.मैले खाली तिनीहरूको समक्ष एउटै कुरोको घोषणा गरेको थिएँ ‘आज मेरो न्याय गरिदैछ किनभने मानिहरू मृत्युबाट जाग्नेछन् भनेर म विश्वास गर्दछु।”‘

22 But Felix, who had a more detailed knowledge of the Way, put them off, saying, When Lysias, the chief captain, comes down, I will give attention to your business.फेलिक्सले येशूमार्ग विषयमा धेरै कुराहरू जान्दथे। उनले मुद्दा स्थगित गरे अनि भने, “जब सेनापति, लायसिअस यहाँ आउँछन् म यी कुराहरूको विषयमा निर्णय गर्नेछु।”

23 And he gave orders to the captain to keep Paul under his control, and to let him have everything he had need of; and not to keep his friends from coming to see him.फेलिक्सले सैन्य अधिकारीलाई पावललाई सुरक्षामा राख्न भने। तर तिनले सैन्य अधिकारीलाई भने कि पावललाई केही स्वतन्त्र दिनु अनि उनको आश्यकता पुरा गर्न उनको साथीहरूलाई वाधा नदिनु।पावल फेलिक्स र उहाँको पत्नीसंग बोल्दछन्।

24 But after some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was of the Jews by birth, and sent for Paul, and gave hearing to him about faith in Christ Jesus.केही दिन पछि फेलक्स आफ्नी यहूदी पत्नीसंग आए। उनको नाउँ द्रूसिल्ला थियो। फेलिक्सले पावललाई ल्याउनु भनेर आज्ञा दिए। फेलिक्सले ख्रीष्ट येशूमा विश्वासप्रति पावलले भनेको कुराहरू सुने।

25 And while he was talking about righteousness and self-control and the judging which was to come, Felix had great fear and said, Go away for the present, and when the right time comes I will send for you.तर फेलिक्स डराए जब पावलले धार्मिक जीवन, आत्मा संयम र भविष्यमा हुने न्यायको विषयमा भने। फेलिक्सले भने, “अहिले जाऊ। जब मसंग समय हुन्छ म तिमीलाई फेरि बोलाउने छु।”

26 For he was hoping that Paul would give him money: so he sent for him more frequently and had talk with him.तर फेलिक्सको पावलसंग बात गर्ने अर्को कारण थियो। फलिक्सले पावलबाट घुस पाउने आशा गरेका थिए। यसर्थ उनले पावललाई बारम्बार बोलाएर कुराकानी गर्थे।

27 But after two years Porcius Festus took the place of Felix, who, desiring to have the approval of the Jews, kept Paul in chains.तर दुई र्वष पछि पोर्सिअस फेस्तस राज्यपाल भए। फेलिक्स अब राज्यपाल रहेनन्। तर फेलिक्सले पावललाई कैदी नै बनाएर राखे। किनभने उनले यहूदीहरूलाई खुशी पार्न चाहन्थे।
