Psalm 129 - BBE (Nepali)

1 <A Song of the going up.> Great have been my troubles from the time when I was young (let Israel now say);मेरो जीवनकालमा प्रशस्त शत्रुहरू छँदै थिए। इस्राएल ती शत्रुहरूको बारेमा हामीलाई बताऊ।

2 Great have been my troubles from the time when I was young, but my troubles have not overcome me.मेरो जीवनकालमा प्रशस्त शत्रुहरू छँदै थिए तर तिनीहरूले कहिल्यै जितेनन्।

3 The ploughmen were ploughing on my back; long were the wounds they made.तिनीहरूले मेरो ढाडमा गहिरो चोट नपरूञ्जेल सम्म मलाई कुटे। धेरै समय सम्म मेरो गहिरो घाउ थियो।

4 The Lord is true: the cords of the evil-doers are broken in two.तर असल परमप्रभुले डोरीहरू काटीदिनु भयो अनि ती दुष्टहरूबाट मलाई छुटकारा दिनुभयो।

5 Let all the haters of Zion be shamed and turned back.मानिसहरू जसले सियोनलाई घृणा गर्छन्, तिनीहरू परास्त होऊन्। तिनीहरू लडाइँ गर्न छाडेर भागुन्।

6 Let them be like the grass on the house-tops, which is dry before it comes to full growth.ती मानिसहरू छानामा भएको घाँसहरू जस्ता थिए। ती घाँसहरू बढ्ने अगावै ओइलएर गए।

7 He who gets in the grain has no use for it; and they do not make bands of it for the grain-stems.काम गर्ने मानिसले एकमुट्ठी घाँस त्यहाँबाट पाउन सक्तैन। एक थुप्रो अन्नको निम्ति पनि प्रशस्त हुँदैन।

8 And those who go by do not say, The blessing of the Lord be on you; we give you blessing in the name of the Lord.तिनीहरूको नजिकैबाट गइरहेको मानिसहरूले यसो भन्ने छैनन् “परमप्रभुको आशीर्वाद तिमीहरूमा रहोस्।” मानिसहरूले तिनीहरूलाई स्वागत गर्ने छैनन् र भन्ने छैनन्, “हामी तिमीहरूलाई परमप्रभुको नाउँमा आशीर्वाद दिनेछौं।”
