1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went forth from the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.मोशा र हारूनको नेतृत्वमा दल-दलमा आएका इस्राएलीहरूको यात्रा विवरण यस प्रकारका छन्। तिनीहरूको यात्रा विवरण सहित यिनै जग्गाहरूबाट यात्रा गरेका हुन्।

2 And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.मोशाले इस्राएलीहरूको यात्रा विवरण परमप्रभुको इच्छा अनुसार लेखे।

3 And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.पहिलो महीनाको पन्ध्रौं दिन तिनीहरूले रामसेसबाट यात्रा शुरू गरे। निस्तार-चाडको पछिल्लो बिहान इस्राएलीहरूले मिश्र देशवासिहरूको सामुन्नेबाट साहसिलो प्रकारले यात्रा गरे।

4 For the Egyptians buried all their first-born, whom the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.त्यस समय मिश्रीहरूले तिनीरूको पहिला जन्मेका छोराहरूलाई गाड्दै थिए जब तिनीहरूलाई र तिनीहरूका देवताहरूलाई परमप्रभुले न्याय गरेका थिए।

5 And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.इस्राएलका मानिसहरू रामसेसबाट यात्रा गरी सुक्कोत पुगे।

6 And they departed from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.सुक्कोतबाट तिनीहरूले एताम पुगेर मरूभूमिको किनारमा छाउनी हाले।

7 And they removed from Etham, and turned again to Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they encamped before Migdol.तिनीहरूले एतामबाट यात्रा गरेर बाल-सपोनको नजीक पीहहीरोतमा गए। तिनीहरूले मिग्दोल नजीक छाउनी हाले।

8 And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.ती यात्रीहरू पीहहीरोतबाट गएर समुद्रको बीचबाट मरूभूमिमा पसे एतामको मरूभूमिमा तीन दिन सम्म यात्रा गरी तिनीहरूले मारामा छाउनी बसाले।

9 And they removed from Marah, and came to Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm-trees; and they encamped there.तिनीहरूले माराबाट यात्रा गरी एलीम पुगे। त्यहाँ बाह्रवटा पानीको फोहराहरू सत्तरीवटा खजूरको रूखहरू थिए। यसकारण तिनीहरूले त्यही छाउनी बसाले।

10 And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.ती मानिसहरूले एलीमबाट यात्रा गरी लाल-समुद्र नजीक छाउनी हाले।

11 And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.तिनीहरूले लाल-समुद्रबाट यात्रा गरी सीन मरूभूमिमा छाउनी हाले।

12 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.ती मानिसहरूले सीन मरूभूमिबाट यात्रा गरी दोफकामा छाउनी हाले।

13 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.ती मानिसहरूले दोफकाबाट यात्रा गरी आलूशमा छाउनी हाले।

14 And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.ती मानिसहरूले आलूशबाट यात्री गरी रपीदीममा छाउनी हाले। त्यस ठाँउमा मानिसहरूको निम्ति पिउने पानी थिएन।

15 And they departed from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.ती मानिसहरूले रपीदीमबाट यात्रा गरी सीनै मरूभूमिमा आफ्नो छाउनी हाले।

16 And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and encamped at Kibroth-hattaavah.ती मानिसहरूले सीनै मरूभूमिबाट यात्रा गरी किब्रोथ-हत्तावामा छाउनी हाले।

17 And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.ती मानिसहरूले किब्रोथ-हत्तावाबाट यात्रा गरी हसेरोतमा छाउनी हाले।

18 And they departed from Hazeroth, and encamped in Rithmah.ती मानिसहरूले हसेरोतबाट यात्रा गरी रित्मामा छाउनी हाले।

19 And they departed from Rithmah, and encamped at Rimmon-parez.ती मानिसहरूले रित्माबाट यात्रा गरी रिम्मोन परेशमा छाउनी हाले।

20 And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and encamped in Libnah.ती मानिसहरूले रिम्मोन-परेशबाट यात्रा गरी लिब्नामा छाउनी हाले।

21 And they removed from Libnah, and encamped at Rissah.ती मानिसहरूले लिब्नाबाट यात्रा गरी रिस्सामा छाउनी हाले।

22 And they journeyed from Rissah, and encamped in Kehelathah.ती मानिसहरूले रिस्साबाट यात्रा गरी केहेलातामा छाउनी हाले।

23 And they went from Kehelathah, and encamped in mount Shapher.ती मानिसहरूले केहेलाताबाट यात्रा गरी पर्वत शेपेरमा छाउनी हाले।

24 And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.ती मानिसहरूले पर्वत शेपेरबाट यात्रा गरी हरादामा छाउनी हाले।

25 And they removed from Haradah, and encamped in Makheloth.ती मानिसहरूले हरादाबाट यात्रा गरी मखेलोतमा छाउनी हाले।

26 And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.ती मानिसहरूले मखेलोतबाट यात्रा गरी तहतमा छाउनी हाले।

27 And they departed from Tahath, and encamped at Tarah.ती मानिसहरूले तहतबाट यात्रा गरी तेरहमा छाउनी हाले।

28 And they removed from Tarah, and encamped in Mithcah.ती मानिसहरूले तेरहबाट यात्रा गरी मित्कामा छाउनी हाले।

29 And they went from Mithcah, and encamped in Hashmonah.ती मानिसहरूले मित्काबाट यात्रा गरी हरामोनामा छाउनी हाले।

30 And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.ती मानिसहरूले हरामोनाबाट यात्रा गरी मसेरोतमा छाउनी हाले।

31 And they departed from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene-jaakan.ती मानिसहरूले मसेरोतबाट यात्रा गरी बनि-याकानमा छाउनी हाले।

32 And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.ती मानिसहरूले बनि-याकानबाट यात्रा गरी होरहगिद-गादमा छाउनी हाले।

33 And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and encamped in Jotbathah.ती मानिसहरूले होरहगिद-गादबाट यात्रा गरी योतबातामा छाउनी हाले।

34 And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.ती मानिसहरूले योतबाताबाट यात्रा गरी अब्रोनामा छाउनी हाले।

35 And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.ती मानिसहरूले अब्रोनाबाट यात्रा गरी एस्योन-गेबेरमा छाउनी हाले।

36 And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.ती मानिसहरूले एस्योन-गेबेरबाट यात्रा गरी सीन मरूभूमिको कादेशमा छाउनी हाले।

37 And they removed from Kadesh, and encamped in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.ती मानिसहरूले कादेशबाट यात्रा गरी होरमा छाउनी हाले। यो ठाँउ एदोम देशको सिमानाको पर्वत हो।

38 And Aaron the priest ascended mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel departed from the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.परमप्रभुको आज्ञालाई पालन गरेर, पूजाहरूरी हारून होर पर्वत माथि गए अनि त्यहाँ मरे। हारून मरेको दिन पाँचौं महीनाको पहिलो दिन थियो र इस्राएलीहरूले मिश्र छोडको चालीस वर्ष पुगेको थियो।

39 And Aaron was a hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.जब हारूनको मृत्यु होर पर्वतमा भयो तिनको उमेर 123 वर्ष भएको थियो।

40 And king Arad the Canaanite who dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.कनान देशको नेगवमा अराद भन्ने एउटा शहर थियो। त्यस ठाँउमा कनानको राजाले इस्राएली मानिसहरू आइरहेको सुने।

41 And they departed from mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.ती मानिसहरूले होर पर्वतबाट यात्रा गरी सल-मोनामा छाउनी हाले।

42 And they departed from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.ती मानिसहरूले सल-मोनाबाट यात्रा शुरू गरी पूनोनमा छाउनी हाले।

43 And they departed from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.ती मानिसहरूले पूनोनबाट यात्रा गरी ओबोतमा छाउनी हाले।

44 And they departed from Oboth, and encamped in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.ती मानिसहरूले ओबोतबाट यात्रा गरी मोआबका सिमानामा रहेको इय्ये-अबारीममा छाउनी हाले।

45 And they departed from Iim, and encamped in Dibon-gad.ती मानिसहरूले इय्ये-अबारीमबाट यात्रा गरी दीबोन-गादमा छाउनी हाले।

46 And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.ती मानिसहरूले दीबोन-गादबाट यात्रा गरी अल्मोन-दिब्लातैममा छाउनी हाले।

47 And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and encamped on the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.ती मानिसहरूले अल्मोन-दिब्लातैमबाट यात्रा गरी नबोको नजीक अबारीमको पर्वतमा छाउनी हाले।

48 And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.ती मानिसहरूले अबारीमको पर्वतबाट यात्रा गरी यरीहोको पारीको यर्दन नदीको नजीक मोआबको यर्दन बेंसीमा छाउनी हाले।

49 And they encamped by Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth even to Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.मोआबको मैदानमा ती मानिसहरूले यर्दन नदीको किनार यर्दन बेंसीमा बते-योशी-मातदेखि आबेल-शीत्तिम सम्म छाउनी हाले।

50 And the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,येरीको पारि यर्दन नदी नजीकै मोआबको मैदानमा परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, इस्राएलीहरूलाई भन,

51 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When ye have passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;“जब तिमीहरू कनान भूमिमा यर्दन नदी पार गर्छौ,

52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite demolish all their high places:तिमीहरूले ती कनानमा बस्नेहरूलाई जबरजस्ती खेदूनु पर्छ। तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूका सबै खोपेर बनाएको मूर्तिहरू र धातुको मूर्तिहरू नष्ट पारिदिनु पर्छ। तिनीहरूको डाँडाका थानहरू सब भत्काइदिनु पर्छ।

53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell in it; for I have given you the land to possess it.मैले तिमीहरूलाई त्यो भूमि आफ्नो दखलमा राख्न दिएकोले तब तिमीहरूले त्यसमा बसो बास गर्नु पर्छ।

54 And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.तिमीहरूको सम्मानित राजवंश अनुसार तिमीहरूका भूमिका भागहरू चिठ्ठा लगाएर लैजाऊ। ठूला भागहरू ठूला परिवारहरूलाई अनि साना भाग साना परिवारहरूलाई देऊ। जहाँ जहाँ चिट्ठा पर्छ त्यही भूमि लेऊ तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूको भाग तिमीहरूको पिता-पूर्खाहरूको परिवार अनुसार पाउँनेछौ।

55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be prickles in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall harass you in the land in which ye dwell.“यदि तिमीहरूले ती त्यहाँका बासिन्दाहरूलाई बलपूर्वक लखेटेनौ भने त्यहाँ रहेकाहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति तिनीहरू आँखामा विझेको छेस्का अथवा शरीरमा बिझेको काँढा झैं हुनेछ। तिमीहरू बसेको भूमिमा तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई झंझटमा फसाउनेछन्।

56 Moreover, it shall come to pass, that I shall do to you as I thought to do to them.तब म तिमीहरूलाई त्यही व्यवहार गर्नेछु जो मैले तिनीहरूसित गुर्छ भनी योजना बनाएकोछु।”
