1 > My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, And for him to listen to me.मैले ठूलो-ठूलो आवाजले कराएर परमेश्वरलाई गुहार मागें। हे परमेश्वर, मेरो रोदन सुनिदिनु होस्!

2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn't get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.मेरो स्वामी, जब म संकटमा परें म तपाईं कहाँ आएँ तपाईंलाई पाउने प्रयासमा म रातभरी जागें र पनि आत्मामा शान्ति भएन।

3 I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah.मैले परमेश्वरको बारेमा सोचें, अनि आफ्नो हालत बताउने प्रयास गरें, तर मैले सकिनँ।

4 You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can't speak.तपाईंले मलाई सुत्न दिनु भएन म केही भन्न चाहन्थे तर म एकदम हताश थिएँ।

5 I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.मैले बितेका कुराहरू सम्झिरहेको थिएँ। धेरै अगाडि हुन गएको घटनाहरू सम्झिरहेको थिएँ।

6 I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; My spirit diligently inquires:रातमा, मैले आफ्ना गीतहरूको बारेमा सोच्ने प्रयास गरें। मैले आफैंलाई बुझ्ने कोशिश गरें।

7 "Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?म छक्क पर्छु, “के हाम्रो स्वामीले हामीलाई सदाको लागि त्याग्नु भयो? के फेरि उहाँ हामीसित खुशी हुनु हुन्न?

8 Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?के फेरि हामीसँग उहाँ बात मार्न सक्नु हुनेछ? के परमेश्वरको प्रेम सदाको निम्ति बिलायो छ?”

9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?" Selah.करूणा के हो भन्ने कुरा उहाँले भुल्नु भयो? उहाँको समवेदना जति क्रोधमा परिवर्तन भयो?”

10 Then I thought, "I will appeal to this: The years of the right hand of the Most High."तब मैले सोचें, “जुन कुराले मलाई सधैं सताई रहन्छ त्यो होः ‘के सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वरले आफ्नो शक्ति गुमाउनु भयो?”‘

11 I will remember Yah's deeds; For I will remember your wonders of old.म सम्झना गर्छु उहाँले कस्तो-कस्तो कार्य गर्नुभयो भनेर। परमेश्वर, म ती आश्चर्यपूर्वक कुराहरू सम्झना गर्छु जुन तपाईंले धेरै-धेरै अगाडि गर्नु भएको थियो।

12 I will also meditate on all your work, And consider your doings.तपाईंले के गर्नु भएको थियो त्यो मैले सोचें। म तपाईंका सबै शक्तिशाली कार्यहरू सोच्दछु।

13 Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?परमेश्वर, तपाईंका बाटोहरू पवित्र छन्, तपाईं बाहेक कोही पनि महान् छैन।

14 You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.तपाईं परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ जसले अचम्मका कामहरू गर्नु हुन्छ। तपाईंले मानिसहरूलाई आफ्नो महान् शक्तिहरू देखाउनु भयो।

15 You have redeemed your people with your arm, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.तपाईंको शक्तिले मानिसहरूलाई बचाउनु भयो तपाईंले याकूब र यूसफका सन्तानहरूलाई बचाउनु भयो।

16 The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.परमेश्वर, पानीले तपाईंलाई देख्यो र भयभित भयो। गहिरो पानी भएका ठाउँहरू पनि डरले कामे।

17 The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.बाक्लो बादलहरूले पानी बर्षाए। मानिसहरूले डरलाग्दो उच्चबादलहरूमा बिजुली चम्केको देखें।

18 The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.त्यहाँ बिजुलीको गडगडाहट थियो, तब बिजुलीको चमक्‌ले संसार नै उज्यालो पार्यो अनि पृथ्वी काम्न थाल्यो र थर्थर भयो।

19 Your way was through the sea; Your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.परमेश्वर, तपाईं गहिरो पानी भएर हिंड्नु भयो तपाईंले गहन समुद्र पार गर्नुभयो, तर तपाईंले कुनै छाप छोड्नु भएन।

20 You led your people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.तपाईंले आफ्ना भक्तजनहरूलाई भेडा सहर डोर्याउन मोशा र हारूनलाई खटाउनु भयो।
