John 7 - YLT (Nepali)

1 And Jesus was walking after these things in Galilee, for he did not wish to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him,यो घटना पछि, येशूले गालील देशको चारैतिर यात्रा गर्नुभयो। येशूले यहूदियामा भ्रमण गर्न चाहनु भएन किनभने यहूदीहरूले उहाँलाई मार्ने मौका खोजी रहेका थिए।

2 and the feast of the Jews was nigh -- that of tabernacles --त्यसबेला यहूदीहरूको छाप्रो वासको चाड थियो।

3 his brethren, therefore, said unto him, `Remove hence, and go away to Judea, that thy disciples also may behold thy works that thou dost;तब येशूका भाइहरूले उहाँलाई भने,“तपाईंले यता छोडेर यहूदाको पर्वमा जानुपर्छ। तब तपाईंका चेलाहरूले त्यहाँ तपाईंले गर्नु भएको महान कार्य देख्न सक्नेछन्।

4 for no one in secret doth anything, and himself seeketh to be in public; if thou dost these things -- manifest thyself to the world;'यदि कसैले आफूलाई जनसमूह माझ प्रकाश गर्न चाहन्छ भने, उसले आफ्नो काम गुप्तीरूपले गर्नु हुँदैन। संसारलाई आफू स्वयंले देखाऊ। तिमीले गरेका चमत्कारहरू तिनीहरूले देखुन्।”

5 for not even were his brethren believing in him.(येशूका भाइहरूले सम्म उहाँमाथि विश्वास गर्दैनथिए।)

6 Jesus, therefore, saith to them, `My time is not yet present, but your time is always ready;येशूले उहाँका भाइहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मेरो निम्ति ठीक समय अझै आइपुगेको छैन। तर कुनै समय पनि तिमीहरूको लागि जाने बेला आउँछ।

7 the world is not able to hate you, but me it doth hate, because I testify concerning it that its works are evil.संसारले तिमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्न सक्तैनन्। तर यो संसारले मलाई घृणा गर्छ। किनभने मैले तिनीहरूलाई तिनीहरूका कामहरू दुष्ट छन् भनी देखाएँ।

8 Ye -- go ye up to this feast; I do not yet go up to this feast, because my time hath not yet been fulfilled;'यसर्थ तिमीहरू चाडमा जाऊ। म चाडमा यस पल्ट जाँदिन। मेरा निम्ति ठीक समय अझै आएको छैन।”

9 and saying these things to them, he remained in Galilee.त्यति भनिसके पछि, उहाँ गालीलमा नै बस्नु भयो।

10 And when his brethren went up, then also he himself went up to the feast, not manifestly, but as in secret;तब येशूका भाईहरू चाडतिर गए। तब उहाँ पनि चाडमा जानुभयो। तर येशू खुल्लम खुल्ला त्यहाँ जानु भएन, तर गुप्तीरूपले जानुभयो।

11 the Jews, therefore, were seeking him, in the feast, and said, `Where is that one?'त्यो चाडमा यहूदीहरूले येशूलाई खोजे। तिनीहरूले भने, “त्यो मानिस कहाँ छ?”

12 and there was much murmuring about him among the multitudes, some indeed said -- `He is good;' and others said, `No, but he leadeth astray the multitude;'त्यहाँ धेरै मात्रामा मानिसहरूको घुइँचो थियो। तिनीहरू मध्ये कसै कसैले येशूको विषयमा गुप्त प्रकारले कुरा गरिरहेको थिए। कतिपय मानिसहरुले भने, “उहाँ एक असल मानिस हुनु हुन्छ।” तर कतिपयले भने, “होइन, मानिसहरूलाई मूर्ख बानउँदछ।”

13 no one, however, was speaking freely about him, through fear of the Jews.तर कसैको पनि येशूको विषयमा खुल्लमखुल्ला प्रकारले कुरा गर्ने आँट थिएन। मानिसहरू यहूदी अगुवाहरूसंग डराउँदथे।

14 And it being now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up to the temple, and he was teaching,त्यो पर्व आधा जस्तो सिद्धिन थालेको थियो। तब येशू मन्दिरको प्राङ्गाणमा जानुभयो अनि मानिसहरूलाई सिकाउन शुरू गर्नुभयो

15 and the Jews were wondering, saying, `How hath this one known letters -- not having learned?'यहूदीहरू छक्क परे। तिनीहरूले भने, “यो मानिस कहिल्यै स्कूलमा पढेन उसले कसरी यति विघ्न कुराहरू जान्यो?”

16 Jesus answered them and said, `My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me;येशूले जवाफमा भन्नुभयो, “जुन कुराहरू म पढाइरहेछु त्यो मेरो आफ्नै होइन। मेरो शिक्षा उहाँबाट आउँदछ जसले मलाई पठाउनु भयो।

17 if any one may will to do His will, he shall know concerning the teaching, whether it is of God, or -- I do speak from myself.यदि कुनै मानिसले परमेश्वरको इच्छा अनुसार काम गर्न चाहन्छ भने तब उसले मेरो शिक्षण परमेश्वरबाटै आँउछ भनी बुझ्नेछ। यो मेरो आफ्नै शिक्षण होइन भनेर उसले जान्दछ।

18 `He who is speaking from himself his own glory doth seek, but he who is seeking the glory of him who sent him, this one is true, and unrighteousness is not in him;कुनै मानिस जसले आफ्नो विचार मात्र बताउँदछ उसले आफै मात्र सम्मान पाउनलाई प्रयास गर्दछ। तर जुन मानिस जसले आफूलाई पठाउनेको सम्मान ल्याउने प्रयास गर्दछ उसले सत्य बोल्दछ। अनि उसकोमा केही असत्य रहनेछैन।

19 hath not Moses given you the law? and none of you doth the law; why me do ye seek to kill?'के मोशाले तिमीहरूलाई व्यवस्था प्रदान गर्नु भएन? तर तिमीहरू कसैले ती व्यवस्था पालन गरेनौ। किन तिमीहरू मलाई मार्न चाहन्छौ?”

20 The multitude answered and said, `Thou hast a demon, who doth seek to kill thee?'मानिसहरूले जवाफ दिए, “एक भूतात्मा तिमीभित्र छ र त्यसले तिमीलाई बौलाहा बनाएको छ। कसले तिमीलाई मार्न चाहन्छ?”

21 Jesus answered and said to them, `One work I did, and ye all wonder,येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मैले एउटा चमत्कार गरें र तिमीहरू सबै छक्क पर्यौ।

22 because of this, Moses hath given you the circumcision -- not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers -- and on a sabbath ye circumcise a man;मोशाले तिमीहरूलाई खतनाको बारेमा नियम प्रदान गर्नुभयो। तर खासमा खतनाको नियम मोशाबाट आएको होइन। खतना हाम्रो पिता-पुर्खाबाट आएको हो जो मोशा भन्दा अगाडि थिए कहीले काँही विश्रामको दिनामा तिमीहरू शिशु को खतना गर्छौ।

23 if a man doth receive circumcision on a sabbath that the law of Moses may not be broken, are ye wroth with me that I made a man all whole on a sabbath?यसले के देखाउँछ भने एकजना मानिसले मोशाको व्यवस्था उलङ्घन नहोस् भनी विश्रामको दिनमा खतना लिन सक्छ। तब मैले विश्रामकै दिनमा एकजना मानिसको सम्पूर्ण शरीर निको पार्दा तिमीहरू मसित किन रिसाउँछौ?

24 judge not according to appearance, but the righteous judgment judge.'बाहिरी रूपलाई जाँच गर्न छाडी देऊ। निष्पक्ष बन र सत्य अनुसार जाँच गर।”

25 Certain, therefore, of the Jerusalemites said, `Is not this he whom they are seeking to kill?यरूशलेमका कोही बासिन्दाहरूले भने, “यो त्यही मानिस होइन जसलाई मानिसहरूले मार्ने चेष्टा गरिरहेकाछन्?”

26 and, lo, he doth speak freely, and they say nothing to him; did the rulers at all know truly that this is truly the Christ?हेर, तिनी खुल्लम खुल्ला शिक्षा दिइरहेका छन्। यद्यपि कसैले उहाँलाई शिक्षा दिन रोक्ने चेष्टा गरिरहेका छैनन्। के अग्रजहरूले उनी नै ख्रीष्ट हुन भन्ने निर्णय गरे?

27 but this one -- we have known whence he is; and the Christ, when he doth come, no one doth know whence he is.'तर हामी जान्दछौ उहाँ कहाँ बाट आएका हुन्। जब ख्रीष्ट आउनु हुनेछ, उहाँ कहाँबाट आउनु हुन्छ कसैलाई थाहा हुँदैन।”

28 Jesus cried, therefore, in the temple, teaching and saying, `Ye have both known me, and ye have known whence I am; and I have not come of myself, but He who sent me is true, whom ye have not known;येशूले मन्दिरको प्राङ्गाणमा शिक्षा दिइरहनु भएको थियो। येशूले ठूलो स्वरमा भन्नुभयो, “हो, तिमीहरू म को हुँ र कहाँबाट आएको हो भनेर जान्दछौ। तर म आफ्नै अधिकारबाट आएको भने होइन। मलाई कसैले पठाएका हो जो सत्य हुनुहुन्छ। तिमीहरू उहाँलाई जान्दैनौ।

29 and I have known Him, because I am from Him, and He did send me.'तर म मात्र उहाँलाई जान्दछु अनि म उहाँबाटै आएको हुँ। उहाँले नै मलाई पठाउनु भएको हो।”

30 They were seeking, therefore, to seize him, and no one laid the hand on him, because his hour had not yet come,जब येशूले त्यसो भन्नुभयो, मानिसहरूले उहाँलाई पक्रन चाहन्थे तर कसैले पनि उहाँलाई छुन सम्म सकेनन्। येशूलाई अहिले नै मारि हाल्नु पर्ने ठीक समय भएको थिएन।

31 and many out of the multitude did believe in him, and said -- `The Christ -- when he may come -- will he do more signs than these that this one did?'तर धेरै जनाले येशूमा विश्वास गरे। मानिसहरूले भने, “हामी ख्रीष्ट आउनु हुन्छ भनेर र्पखिरहेकाछौं। जब ख्रीष्ट आउनु हुनेछ तब उहाँले यो मानिसले भन्दा अझ बेशी चमत्कारहरू गर्न सक्नछन्? होइन, अतः यही मान्छे ख्रीष्ट हुनुपर्छ।”

32 The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers that they may take him;फरिसीहरूले येशूको विषयमा मानिसहरूले गुप्तीरूपमा कुराहरू गरेको सुने। यसैले मुख्या पूजाहारीहरू र फरिसीरूले येशूलाई पक्रन मन्दिरको कोही पहरेदारहरूलाई पठाए।

33 Jesus, therefore, said to them, `Yet a little time I am with you, and I go away unto Him who sent me;तब येशूले भन्नुभयो, “अब केही क्षण म तिमीहरूसंग बस्नेछु। तब म उहाँकहाँ जानेछु जसले मलाई पठाउनु भयो।

34 ye will seek me, and ye shall not find; and where I am, ye are not able to come.'तिमीहरूले मलाई खोज्नेछौ, तर तिमीहरूले मलाई भेट्ने छैनौ। अनि जहाँ म हुन्छु त्यस ठाउँमा तिमीहरू आउन सक्नेछैनौ।”

35 The Jews, therefore, said among themselves, `Whither is this one about to go that we shall not find him? -- to the dispersion of the Greeks is he about to go? and to teach the Greeks;यहूदीहरूले आपसमा भने, “उनी कहाँ जानेछन, के हामीले उनलाई भेट्न सक्ने छैनौं? के उनी यूनानीहरूमा जानेछन् जहाँ हाम्रा मानिसहरू वस्दछन्?के तिनी यूनानी मानिसहरूलाई शिक्षा दिन जानेछन्?

36 what is this word that he said, Ye will seek me, and ye shall not find? and, Where I am, ye are not able to come?'उनले भन्छन, ‘तिमीहरूले खोज्यौ भने पनि मलाई भेटने छैनौ।’ उसले यसो पनि भन्दछ, ‘म जहाँ छु तिमीहरू त्यहाँ आउन सक्तैनौ।’ यसको अर्थ के हो?”

37 And in the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, `If any one doth thirst, let him come unto me and drink;पर्वको अन्तिम दिन थियो। यो एकदमै मुख्य दिन थियो। त्यसदिन येशू उभिनु भयो र ठूलो स्वरमा भन्नुभयो, “यदि कुनै मानिसहरूलाई तीर्खा लागेको छ भने मकहाँ आऊ र पिऊ।

38 he who is believing in me, according as the Writing said, Rivers out of his belly shall flow of living water;'यदि कुनै मानिसले मलाई विश्वास गर्छ भने, उसको हृदयबाट जिउँदो पानी बग्नेछ। धर्मशास्त्रमा यही लेखिएकोछ।”

39 and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.येशूले वास्तवमा पवित्र आत्माको विषयमा बताइरहनु भएको थियो। पवित्र आत्मा मानिसहरूलाई अझ सम्म दिइएको थिएन किनभने येशू अझ सम्म मर्नु भएको थियन, अनि महिमातर्फ नै उठेको थिएन। तर पछि, ती जसले येशूमा विश्वास गर्छन् पवित्र आत्मा पाउने छन्।

40 Many, therefore out of the multitude, having heard the word, said, `This is truly the Prophet;'मानिसहरूले येशूले भन्नु भएका ती कुराहरू सुने। कोही मानिसहरूले भने, “यो मानिस साँच्ची नै अगमवक्ता हो।”

41 others said, `This is the Christ;' and others said, `Why, out of Galilee doth the Christ come?अन्य मानिसहरूले भने, “उनी ख्रीष्ट हुन्।”अन्यहरूले भने, “उनी ख्रीष्ट गालीलबाट आएको होइन।

42 Did not the Writing say, that out of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem -- the village where David was -- the Christ doth come?'धर्मशास्त्र अनुसार ख्रीष्ट दाऊदको परिवारबाट आउनेछन्। अनि अझ धर्मशास्त्रले भन्दछ कि ख्रीष्ट बेतलेहेमबाट आउनेछन्, त्यो शहर जहाँ दाऊद बस्थे।”

43 A division, therefore, arose among the multitude because of him.तब येशूको विषय लिएर परस्परमा तिनीहरू सहमती भएनन्।

44 And certain of them were willing to seize him, but no one laid hands on him;कोही मानिसहरूले येशूलाई पक्रन चाहन्थे। तर कसैले पनि तिनीमाथि आफ्नो हात हालेनन्।

45 the officers came, therefore, unto the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, `Wherefore did ye not bring him?'तब मन्दिरका पहरेदाहरू, मुख्या पूजाहारीहरू र फरिसीहरूभए कहाँ फर्के। तिनीहरूले मन्दिरका पहरेदाहरू सोधे, “तिमीले किन येशूलाई ल्याएनौ?”

46 The officers answered, `Never so spake man -- as this man.'मन्दिरका पहरेदारहरूले उत्तर दियो, “कुनै मानिसले पनि अझ सम्म यस प्रकारले शिक्षा दिएको छैन!”

47 The Pharisees, therefore, answered them, `Have ye also been led astray?फरिसीहरूले उत्तर दिए, “तब तिमीहरू पनि मूर्ख बनियौ।

48 did any one out of the rulers believe in him? or out of the Pharisees?अगुवाहरू कसैले येशूमा विश्वास गरेकोछ, यही होइन? कुनै फरिसीहरूले उसमाथि विश्वास गरेकोछ? छैन!

49 but this multitude, that is not knowing the law, is accursed.'तर ती मानिसहरू जौ बाहिर छन् जसले व्यवस्थाको विषयमा केही पनि जान्दैनन् तिनीहरूले मात्र उहाँलाई विश्वास गरेकाछन्। परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई श्राप दिनु भएकोछ।”

50 Nicodemus saith unto them -- he who came by night unto him -- being one of them,तर निकोदिमस् ती अगुवाहरूमध्ये एकजना थिए। निकोदेमस त्यो मानिस थियो जो येशूलाई हेर्न पहिल्यै गएको थियो। उनले भने,

51 `Doth our law judge the man, if it may not hear from him first, and know what he doth?'“हाम्र व्यवस्थाले ऊबाट पहिले नसुनी तथा उसले के गरेकोछ नजानी एक मानिसलाई दण्ड दिनु हामीलाई अनुमति दिंदैन।”

52 They answered and said to him, `Art thou also out of Galilee? search and see, that a prophet out of Galilee hath not risen;'यहूदी अगुवाहरूले उत्तर दिए, “तिमी पनि गालीलबाटै आएको हौ? धर्मशास्त्र अध्ययन गर अनि तिमीले जान्नेछौ कि कुनै पनि आगमवक्ता गालीलबाट आउँदैन्।”(यूहन्नाको यी पदहरू 7:53-8:11 सम्म सबैभन्दा पुरानो र असल यूनानी लिपीहरूमा पाइदैंन।)

53 and each one went on to his house, but Jesus went on to the mount of the Olives.सबै यहूदी अगुवाहरू आ-आफ्ना घर गए।
