Hosea 8
11 एप्रैमले पाप गर्नलाई वेदीको संख्या बढायो। ती त्यसको निम्ति पाप गर्ने वेदीहरू भए।
12 मैले त्यसका निम्ति मेरो व्यवस्थामा लाखौं विधिहरू लेखें तापनि ती कुरा बीराना ठानिनेछन्।
13 मेरो भेटीको लागि तिनीहरूले मासु चढाउँछन् र खान्छन्, तर परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई ग्रहण गर्नुहुन्न। अब उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई तिनीहरूको पापको निम्ति दण्ड दिनुहुनेछ। तिनीहरूलाई मिश्रमा नै फर्काइँनेछ।
11 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the Lord accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
