Proverbs 9 - YLT (Nepali)

1 Wisdom hath builded her house, She hath hewn out her pillars -- seven.ज्ञानले आफ्नो घर बनाई। उसले त्यस घरमा सातओटा खम्बाहरू खडा गरी।

2 She hath slaughtered her slaughter, She hath mingled her wine, Yea, she hath arranged her table.उसले मासु पकाई अनि त्यसपछि दाखरस बनाई। उसले खाना टेबिलमाथि राखी।

3 She hath sent forth her damsels, She crieth on the tops of the high places of the city:तब उसले उसको सेविका केटीहरूलाई शहरको अग्लो ठाउँमा मानिसहरूलाई निम्त्याउन पठाई।

4 `Who `is' simple? let him turn aside hither.' Whoso lacketh heart: she hath said to him,तिमी मानिसहरू ज-जसलाई सिक्न आवश्यक छ, आओ। उसले मूर्ख मानिसहरूलाई पनि निम्त्याउन भनी।

5 `Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine I have mingled.आओ, अनि मेरा ज्ञानका भोजन खाओ। अनि दाखरस पनि पिओ जुन मैले तयार पारेकी छु।

6 Forsake ye, the simple, and live, And be happy in the way of understanding.अनुभवहीनता तिम्रो पछि छोड अनि समझशक्ति भएको बाटोमा हिंड।

7 The instructor of a scorner Is receiving for it -- shame, And a reprover of the wicked -- his blemish.अरूलाई अपमान गर्नेहरूलाई सुधार्न खोज्ने मानिस आफैं अपमानित हुन्छ र जसले दुष्टमानिसलाई हप्काउँछ उसलाई हानी हुन्छ।

8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee, Give reproof to the wise, and he loveth thee.अरूलाई अपमान गर्ने मानिसलाई तिमीले कहिल्यै पनि नझपार्नु नत्र उसले तिमीलाई नै घृणा गर्न थाल्छ। तर यदि तिमीले कुनै ज्ञानी मानिसलाई हप्का्यौ भने उसले तिमीलाई प्रेम गर्न थाल्नेछ।

9 Give to the wise, and he is wiser still, Make known to the righteous, And he increaseth learning.ज्ञानी मानिसलाई अर्ती दियो भने ऊ अझैं ज्ञानी हुन्छ। त्यसरी नै एउटा धर्मी मानिसलाई सिकायो भने उसले ज्ञान धेरै बढाउनेछ।

10 The commencement of wisdom `is' the fear of Jehovah, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones `is' understanding.परमप्रभुलाई आदर गर्नुको अर्थ ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्ने पहिलो पाइलो हुन्छ, अनि पवित्र परमप्रभुको ज्ञान नै समझशक्ति हो।

11 For by me do thy days multiply, And added to thee are years of life.किनभने तिम्रो आयु बढने, दिन समय बढनु र तिम्रो जीवनमा र्बषको र्बष बढेर जानु मबाट नै हुन्छ।

12 If thou hast been wise, thou hast been wise for thyself, And thou hast scorned -- thyself bearest `it'.यदि तिमी बुद्धिमान छौ भने तिमी आफैंले लाभ उठाउने छौ। तर यदि तिमी ठट्टा गर्छौ भने तिमी आफैंले दुःख पाउनेछौ।

13 A foolish woman `is' noisy, Simple, and hath not known what.मूर्खता यस्तो आइमाई हो जसले खुब कुरा गर्छे तर ऊ मूर्ख हो, र केही पनि जान्दिनँ।

14 And she hath sat at the opening of her house, On a throne -- the high places of the city,ऊ उसको घरको दैलोमा, बसीरहन्छे शहरको सबैभन्दा अग्लो स्थानमा भएको आसन माथि बस्छे।

15 To call to those passing by the way, Who are going straight `on' their paths.उसको अगाडीबाट जो आफ्नो सोझो बाटो गइरहेको हुन्छ उसलाई बोलाएर भन्छे,

16 `Who `is' simple? let him turn aside hither.' And whoso lacketh heart -- she said to him,अरे हे बुद्धि नभएकाहरू हो, यहाँ भित्र आऊ।” उसले तिनीहरूलाई भन्छे जोसँग चेतना नै छैन।

17 `Stolen waters are sweet, And hidden bread is pleasant.'“बोकेको पानीको स्वाद अझ मिठो हुन्छ, चोरेको खाना साँच्चै स्वादिष्ट हुन्छ।”

18 And he hath not known that Rephaim `are' there, In deep places of Sheol her invited ones!मूर्ख मानिसहरूले जान्दैनन् कि तिनका घर भूतहरूले पूर्ण छ अनि तिनले तिनीहरूलाई चिहानको गहिरो भागमा निमन्त्रणा गरेका छन्।
