Proverbs 5 - YLT (Nepali)

1 My son! to my wisdom give attention, To mine understanding incline thine ear,हे मेरो छोरो! तिमी मेरो ज्ञानपूर्ण शिक्षाहरूमा ध्यान देऊ। मेरा बुद्धिका वचनहरू होशियार साथ सुन।

2 To observe thoughtfulness, And knowledge do thy lips keep.यी कुराहरूबाट तिमीलाई कुन असल अथवा खराब त्यो बोध भइरहनेछ र तिम्रो ओठमा ज्ञानका कुराहरू वास गरिरहन्छन्।

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And smoother than oil `is' her mouth,कारण पर स्त्रीको मुखबाट मह टप्किन्छ अनि ओठ भद्राक्षको तेल दले झैं चिप्लो हुन्छ।

4 And her latter end `is' bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a sword `with' mouths.तर पछि परिणाम चाँहि नीमको पत्ता झैं तीतो तथा दुई धारे तरवार जस्तै धारिलो हुन्छ।

5 Her feet are going down to death, Sheol do her steps take hold of.परस्त्रीको गोडाहरू मृत्यु तिर लम्कन्छन र उसको पाइला चिहानतिर जान्छन्।

6 The path of life -- lest thou ponder, Moved have her paths -- thou knowest not.उसको मार्गले कहाँ लगिरहेको छ त्यसले विचार गर्दिन त्यसले बाटो विराएर हिँडेकि हुन्छे तैपनि त्यसले त्यो जान्दिन।

7 And now, ye sons, hearken to me, And turn not from sayings of my mouth.यस कारण अब मेरो छोराहरू सुन! त्यो मैले दिएको उपदेशहरूबाट निलित नहोऊ।

8 Keep far from off her thy way, And come not near unto the opening of her house,स्त्री देखि टाढा बस अनि त्यसको घरको ढोका नजिक पनि नजाऊ।

9 Lest thou give to others thy honour, And thy years to the fierce,नत्र आफ्नो सर्वोत्तम शक्ति अर्कालाई दिनेछौ, अनि त्यस द्वारा तिम्रो सम्पूर्ण जीवनको प्राप्तिहरू निष्ठूर एउटा दुष्ट मानिसको हातहरूमा राख्ने छौ।

10 Lest strangers be filled `with' thy power, And thy labours in the house of a stranger,यस्तो चाँहि नहोस कि तिम्रो धनमा अरूले आनन्द भोगोस् र तिमीहरूको परिश्रमले अन्य मानिसको ढिकुटी भरियोस्।

11 And thou hast howled in thy latter end, In the consumption of thy flesh and thy food,जब तिम्रो धन सम्पत्ति शरीर तथा आयु सब शेष हुन्छ त्यतिबेला चिन्ता गरेर रोई बस्नु पर्ला।

12 And hast said, `How have I hated instruction, And reproof hath my heart despised,तिमीले भन्नेछौ, “अहा! मैले अनुशासनलाई किन घृणा गरें? किन मेरो हृदयले सुधारलाई अस्वीकार गर्यो?

13 And I have not hearkened to the voice of my directors, And to my teachers have not inclined mine ear.मैले आफ्नो शिक्षकहरूको कुरा मानिनँ अनि उनिहरू प्रति ध्यान नै दिइनँ।

14 As a little thing I have been all evil, In the midst of an assembly and a company.म प्रायः पूर्णरूपले ध्वंश भएको छु भनी प्रत्येकले जान्दछन्।

15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, Even flowing ones out of thine own well.तिमी आफ्नै पानीको कुवाबाट निकालेको पानी पिउने गर। तिमी आफ्नै जल श्रोतबाट स्वच्छ पानी पिउने गर।

16 Let thy fountains be scattered abroad, In broad places rivulets of waters.तिमी नै भन, के तिम्रो आफ्नो जल श्रोतबाट पानी बाटोमा जताततै बगोस्। तिम्रो जलश्रोतबाट निस्केको पानी बाहिर कहीं नबगोस्।

17 Let them be to thee for thyself, And not to strangers with thee.त्यो पानी त केवल तिम्रो हो, तिम्रो मात्र। त्यसमा कुनै विदेशीको अंश नहोस्।

18 Let thy fountain be blessed, And rejoice because of the wife of thy youth,तिम्रो श्रोत धन्य रहोस् अनि आफूले तन्नेरी हुँदा विहे गरेकी पत्नीसित आनन्द गर।

19 A hind of loves, and a roe of grace! Let her loves satisfy thee at all times, In her love magnify thyself continually.ऊ एउटी सुन्दरी मृर्ग झैं होस्, एउटी प्यारी हरिणको बच्चा झैं होस्, उसका स्तनहरूले तिमीलाई सधैं तृप्त पारून् र उसको प्रेमले तिमीलाई सधैं बाँधोस्।

20 And why dost thou magnify thyself, My son, with a stranger? And embrace the bosom of a strange woman?हे मेरो छोरो, तिमीलाई किन व्यभिचारी स्त्रीले वशमा राख्छे। किन तिमीले अर्को स्त्रीको छातीलाई अंगालो हाल्नै पर्छ?

21 For over-against the eyes of Jehovah are the ways of each, And all his paths He is pondering.परमप्रभुको आँखाहरूले मानिसको बाटोहरूलाई हेरीरहन्छन्, उसले गरेको प्रत्येक चीज उहाँले देख्नु हुन्छ।

22 His own iniquities do capture the wicked, And with the ropes of his sin he is holden.एकजना खराब मानिस उसले गरेको खराब कर्महरूद्वारा नै फँस्छ। उसको पापले उसलाई डोरीले झैं बाध्ने छ।

23 He dieth without instruction, And in the abundance of his folly magnifieth himself!एकजना खराब मानिस अनुशासनको अभावले मर्नेछ। उसको ठूलो मूर्खताले उसलाई पथभ्रष्ट बनाउँछ।
