तब एल्याकीम, शेब्ना र योआहले रबशाकेलाई भने, “दया गरेर हामी प्रति अरामी भाषामा बोल्नु होस्। हामी त्यो भाषा बुझ्छौ। हामीसित यहूदी भाषामा नबोल्नु होस्। यदि तिमीले हाम्रो भाषा प्रयोग गर्यौ भने शहरका पर्खालहरूमा भएका मानिसहरूले पनि बुझ्नेछन्।”

Then said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not to us in the Jews' language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
