Leviticus 11 - WBT (Nepali)

1 And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them.परमप्रभुले मोशा र हारूनलाई भन्नुभयो,

2 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.“इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई भनः ‘पृथ्वीका प्राणीहरूमध्ये तिमीहरू यी प्राणीहरू खान सक्छौः

3 Whatever parteth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that shall ye eat.तिमीहरू कुनै पनि प्राणी खान सक्छौ जसको खुर चिरिएको हुन्छ अनि जो उग्राउँछ।

4 Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat, of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you.“तिमीहरूले ऊँट खानु हुँदैन किनभने यो उग्राउँछ तर यसको खुर चिरिएको छैन,

5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you.भुइँभालु किनभने यो उग्राउँछ तर यसको खुर चिरिएको हुँदैन।

6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof: he is unclean to you.खरायो यद्यपि यो उग्राउँछ। यसको खुर चिरिएको हुँदैन किनभने यी अशुद्ध हुन्।

7 And the swine, though he divideth the hoof, and is cloven-footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.अनि सुँगुर-यसको खुर चिरिएको त छ तर यसले उग्राउँदैन, यसर्थ यो तिमीहरूको निम्ति फोहोर तथा अशुद्ध छ।

8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.तिमीहरूले यी पशुहरूको मासु नखानु अनि या पशुहरूको सिनु नछुनु। यी पशुहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति अशुद्ध अनि फोहोर हुन्।

9 These shall ye eat, of all that are in the waters: whatever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.“पानीमा हुने सबै प्राणीहरू तिमीहरूले खान सक्छौ, जलचर प्राणीहरूमा जसको पखेटा र कत्ला हुन्छ, चाहे त्यो नदी अथवा समुद्रको, तिमीहरू खान सक्छौ।

10 And all that have not fins nor scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living animal which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination to you:नदी अनि समुद्रका सबै प्राणीहरूमा जसको पखेटा अथवा कत्ला हुँदैन त्यसलाई घृणा गर्नु अनि नखानु।

11 They shall be even an abomination to you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination.यस्ता पशुहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति घृणित हुन अनि तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूको मासु खानु हुँदैन तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूको मृत शरीरहरूलाई छुनु हुँदैन।

12 Whatever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination to you.जलचर प्राणीहरू मध्ये जसको पखेटा अनि कत्ला हुँदैन त्यसको मासु खानु तिमीहरूको निम्ति निषेध मान्नुपर्छ।

13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,“चराहरूमा यी तिमीहरूको निम्ति घृणित हुन् अनि तिमीहरूले यिनीहरूको मासु खानु हुँदैन गरूड, गिद्ध, कालो गिद्ध,

14 And the vultur, and the kite after his kind;रातो चील र सबै प्रकारका कालो चील,

15 Every raven after his kind;सबै थरीका कागहरू,

16 And the owl, and the night-hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,ठूलो लाटकोसेरो, कराउने लाटकोसेरो, समुद्री चराहरू र सबै जातका बाजहरू,

17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,सानो लाटोकोसेरो, पानी काग, भुल्का,

18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier-eagle,सेतो लाटोकोसेरो, मरूभूमिमा हुने लाटोकोसेरो, माछा खाने चील,

19 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.सारस, सबै प्रकारको बकुल्ला, फाप्रेचरो र चमेरो।

20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination to you.“तिमीहरूले प्रत्येक पंखेटा भएका किराहरूलाई जो घस्रेर हिंड्छन्, खानमा बारेको सम्झनु पर्छ।

21 Yet these may ye eat, of every flying creeping animal that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap with upon the earth;तर तिमीहरूले उफ्रिने जोर्नी भएका खुट्टा हुने पंखेटा भएका किराहरू खान सक्छौ।

22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the beetle after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.यी किराहरू मध्ये तिमीहरूले खान सक्छौः प्रत्येक प्रकारको सलह, पखेटा सलह; प्रत्येक जातको किथ्रा र फटेङ्ग्रा खानु सक्छौ।

23 But all other flying creeping animals, which have four feet, shall be an abomination to you.“चार खुट्टे तर पंखेटा भएका प्रत्येक जातका किराहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति घृणित हुन्छ, यो तिमीहरूले खानु निषेध मान्नुपर्छ।

24 And for these ye shall be unclean: whoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the evening.निम्न लिखित प्राणीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई फोहोर अनि अपवित्र पार्छ। कुनै पनि मानिस जसले तिनीहरूको सिनु छुन्छ त्यो साँझसम्म अपवित्र रहन्छ।

25 And whoever beareth aught of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.अनि कुनै पनि मानिस जसले सिनु बोक्छ, उसले आफ्नो लुगा धुनुपर्छ अनि साँझसम्म त्यो अपवित्र रहनेछ।

26 The carcasses of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean to you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.“कुनै प्राणी जसको चिरिएको खुर त छ तर उग्राउँदैन भने त्यो तिमीहरूको निम्ति अपवित्र हो। जसले पनि यसलाई छुन्छ अशुद्ध हुन्छ।

27 And whatever goeth upon its paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean to you: whoever toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the evening.चार खुट्टाले हिंड्छ तर पन्जाले टेकेर हिंड्छन् भने त्यस्तो प्रत्येक पशु तिमीहरूको निम्ति अपवित्र हो। कुनै पनि मानिस जसले त्यसलाई छुन्छ त्यो साँझसम्म अपवित्र हुन्छ।

28 And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: they are unclean to you.जसले यस्तो पशुको लाश बोक्छ, साँझसम्म अशुद्ध रहन्छ अनि यसले आफ्नो लुगा धुनुपर्छ। त्यस्ता पशुहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति अशुद्ध हुन्।

29 These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping animals that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise, after its kind,“भूँईमा घस्रने प्राणीहरू मध्ये यिनीहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति अपवित्र हुन्-जस्तै न्याउरीमुसो, मुसो, सबै जातको छेपारोहरू,

30 And the ferret and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.माउसुली, गोहोरो, भालेमुँग्रो, बालुवामा हुने छेपारो अनि रंग बद्लने छेपारो।

31 These are unclean to you among all that creep: whoever doth touch them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening.घस्रनेहरूमा यिनीहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति अशुद्ध हुन्। कसैले यी प्राणीहरूमध्ये कुनैको पनि लाश छोए त्यो मानिस साँझसम्म अशुद्ध रहनेछ।

32 And upon whatever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, in which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; so it shall be cleansed.“अनि यदि अशुद्ध पशुहरू मध्ये कुनै मर्छ अनि केहि कुरामा पर्छ तब त्यो वस्तु अशुद्ध हुनेछ यो काठ, लुगा, छाला, पाठाको छालाको लुगा (भाङग्रा) अथवा कुनै काम आउने भाँडे किन नहोस्। यदि यस्तो भए, यसलाई पानीमा डुबाउनु पर्छ अनि यो साँझसम्म अशुद्ध रहनेछ।

33 And every earthen vessel, into which any of them falleth, whatever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.माटोको भाँडामा मरेका यी प्राणीहरूमध्ये कुनै परे त्यो भाडमा रहेको चीज पनि अशुद्ध हुन्छ र त्यो भाँडा फुटाउनु पर्छ।

34 Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drank in every such vessel, shall be unclean.यदि त्यो भाँडामा पानी थियो अनि त्यसले अर्को कुनै खाद्य छुन्छ। त्यो अशुद्ध हुनेछ। अनि यदि कुनै पिउने वस्तु त्यस भाँडामा थियो भने त्यो पनि अशुद्ध हुनेछ।

35 And every thing on which any part of their carcass falleth, shall be unclean; whether an oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.यदि त्यो मरेको वस्तुको कुनै पनि अंग मात्र केही चीजमा परे त्यो चीज अशुद्ध हुनेछ। यदि त्यो बस्तु चुला अथवा अँगेटी हो भने त्यो भत्काउनु पर्छ।

36 Nevertheless, a fountain or pit, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.“तर यदि कोही पानीको मुहान अथवा कूवाँमा भए त्यो अशुद्ध हुँदैन तर जसले मरेको लाश छुन्छ त्यो चाँहि अशुद्ध हुन्छ।

37 And if any part of their carcass shall fall upon any sowing-seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.अनि यदि त्यो मृत देह कुनै बीउमाथि झरे त्यो बीउ शुद्ध नै रहन्छ।

38 But if any water shall be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass shall fall on it, it shall be unclean to you.तर यदि ती बीउहरूमाथि पानी हालेको छ र त्यस्तो सिनु पर्यो भने ती बीउहरू तिमीहरूको निम्ति अशुद्ध हुनेछन्।

39 And if any beast, of which ye may eat, shall die; he that toucheth its carcass shall be unclean until the evening.“यदि तिमीहरूका पशुहरूमध्ये कुनै मर्छ जसलाई खानको निम्ति तिमीहरूलाई अनुमति दिइएको छ, तब व्यक्ति जसले यसको मृत शरीरलाई छुन्छ साँझसम्म अशुद्ध रहनेछ।

40 And he that eateth of its carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening; he also that beareth its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.यदि कसैले त्यस मरेको पशुको कुनै भागको मासु खान्छ तब त्यस मानिसले आफ्नो लुगा धुनु पर्छ र साँझसम्म ऊ अशुद्ध रहनेछ। यदि कसैले त्यस्तो पशुहरूको लाश छुन्छ ऊ साँझसम्म अशुद्ध रहनेछ अनि उसले आफ्ना लुगाहरू धुनु पर्छ।

41 And every creeping animal that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.“अनि प्रत्येक प्राणी जो भुइँमा घस्रन्छ त्यसलाई तिमीले घृणा गर्नैपर्छ अनि तिमीले त्यो खानु हुँदैन।

42 Whatever goeth upon the belly, and whatever goeth upon all four, or whatever hath more feet among all creeping animals that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.कुनै पनि प्राणी जो भुइँमा आफ्नो पेटले सुल्कन्छ अथवा चार अथवा धेरै खुट्टाले घस्रन्छ त्यस्तो प्राणी तिमीहरूले खानु हुँदैन। तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गर्नुपर्छ।

43 Ye shall not make your selves abominable with any creeping animal that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled by them.यस्ता घस्रने प्राणीबाट तिमीहरू कुनै पनि परिस्थितिमा अशुद्ध नहुनु। यिनीहरूलाई छोएर अशुद्ध नबन।

44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping animal that creepeth upon the earth.किनभने म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ। तिमीहरूले आफूलाई पवित्र राख्नु पर्छ। तिमीहरू पवित्र होऊ किनभने म पवित्र छु। तिमीहरू भूइँमा प्राणीहरूद्वारा अशुद्ध हुनु हुँदैन

45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ जसले तिमीहरूलाई मिश्र देशबाट तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुनका निम्ति बाहिर ल्याएँ, तिमीहरू पवित्र बन किनभने म पवित्र छु।”

46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth;पशु, पंक्षी, जलचर अनि भूइँमा घस्रने सबै प्राणीहरूका निम्ति विधिहरू यी नै हुन्।

47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.पवित्र र अपवित्र र पशुहरूमा मासु खानु हुने र नहुने छुट्याउने नियम यी नै हुन्।”
