John 12
9 येशू बेथानीमा हुनुहुन्छ भनेर धेरै यहूदीहरूले सुने। तब तिनीहरू येशूलाई हेर्न त्यहाँ गए। तिनीहरू त्यहाँ लाजरसलाई पनि हेर्न गए। लाजरस जसलाई येशूले मृत्युबाट जगाउनु भएको थियो।
10 यसैले मुख्य पूजाहारीहरूले लाजरसलाई पनि मार्ने योजनाहरू गरे।
11 लाजरसले गर्दा, धेरै यहूदीहरूले आफ्ना प्रमुख अगुवाहरूलाई छोडेर येशूलाई विश्वास गर्न थालेका थिए। त्यही कारणले गर्दा यहूदी अगुवाहरूले लाजरसलाई मार्न चाहेका थिए।
12 अर्को दिन येशू यरूशलेमतिर आइरहनु भएकोछ भनेर त्यकहाँका मानिसहरूले सुने। तिनीहरूमा धेरै जसो यहूदीहरूको निस्तार चाडमा आउनेहरू थिए
13 मानिसहरूले खजुरका हाँगाहरू लिए अनि येशूलाई स्वागत गर्न निस्के। मानिसहरू कराए,“उहाँको प्रशंसा गर!’ ‘स्वागत् गर! परमेश्वरले उहाँलाई आशीर्वाद गरून् जो परमप्रभुको नाउँमा आउनु हुँदैछ!’भजनसंग्रह 118:25-26परमेश्वरले इस्राएलका राजालाई आशीष दिनुहुन्छ!”
14 येशूले एउटा गधा पाउनु भयो र त्यसमा चढनु भयो। यो धर्मशास्त्रमा भने जस्तै भयोः
15 हे सियोन शहरनडराऊ! हेर! तिम्रो राजा आइरहेछ। उहाँ गधाको बछेडमाथि चडेर आइरहेका छन्।”
16 येशूका चेलाहरूले त्यसबेला के भइरहेको थियो बुझेनन्। तर येशूको पुनरूत्थान पछि तिनीहरूले येशूको महिमा सम्झे कि यी कुराहरू उहाँकै विषयमा लेखिएको थियो अनि मानिसहरूले उहाँकै निम्ति यी कुराहरू गरेकाथिए।
9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

9 येशू बेथानीमा हुनुहुन्छ भनेर धेरै यहूदीहरूले सुने। तब तिनीहरू येशूलाई हेर्न त्यहाँ गए। तिनीहरू त्यहाँ लाजरसलाई पनि हेर्न गए। लाजरस जसलाई येशूले मृत्युबाट जगाउनु भएको थियो।
Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
10 यसैले मुख्य पूजाहारीहरूले लाजरसलाई पनि मार्ने योजनाहरू गरे।

11 लाजरसले गर्दा, धेरै यहूदीहरूले आफ्ना प्रमुख अगुवाहरूलाई छोडेर येशूलाई विश्वास गर्न थालेका थिए। त्यही कारणले गर्दा यहूदी अगुवाहरूले लाजरसलाई मार्न चाहेका थिए।
Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
12 अर्को दिन येशू यरूशलेमतिर आइरहनु भएकोछ भनेर त्यकहाँका मानिसहरूले सुने। तिनीहरूमा धेरै जसो यहूदीहरूको निस्तार चाडमा आउनेहरू थिए
On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
13 मानिसहरूले खजुरका हाँगाहरू लिए अनि येशूलाई स्वागत गर्न निस्के। मानिसहरू कराए,“उहाँको प्रशंसा गर!’ ‘स्वागत् गर! परमेश्वरले उहाँलाई आशीर्वाद गरून् जो परमप्रभुको नाउँमा आउनु हुँदैछ!’भजनसंग्रह 118:25-26परमेश्वरले इस्राएलका राजालाई आशीष दिनुहुन्छ!”
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
14 येशूले एउटा गधा पाउनु भयो र त्यसमा चढनु भयो। यो धर्मशास्त्रमा भने जस्तै भयोः
And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15 हे सियोन शहरनडराऊ! हेर! तिम्रो राजा आइरहेछ। उहाँ गधाको बछेडमाथि चडेर आइरहेका छन्।”
Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt.
16 येशूका चेलाहरूले त्यसबेला के भइरहेको थियो बुझेनन्। तर येशूको पुनरूत्थान पछि तिनीहरूले येशूको महिमा सम्झे कि यी कुराहरू उहाँकै विषयमा लेखिएको थियो अनि मानिसहरूले उहाँकै निम्ति यी कुराहरू गरेकाथिए।
