Isaiah 42
14 “धेरै लामो समय देखि मैले केही पनि भनेको छैन्। मैले स्वयलाई नै नियन्त्रण गरें अनि केही पनि भनिनँ। तर अब म शिशुलाई जन्म दिइरहेकी स्त्री जस्तै कराउनेछु म तेज जबरजस्ती गरेर सास फेर्नेछु।
15 म पहाड र पर्वतहरूलाई उजाड पारिदिनेछु म त्यहाँ उम्रिने सारा वनस्पतिहरूलाई सुकाइदिनेछु। म नदीहरूलाई सुक्खा धर्तीमा परिर्वतन गर्नेछु। म पानीका इनारहरू पनि सुकाइदिनेछु।
14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
