त्यसपछि अरिमाथियावासी योसेफ नाम भएकोले पितालसलाई येशूको मृत-शरीर लैजान पाऊँ भनेर विन्ती गरे। योसेफ येशूका चेलाहरू मध्ये एक थिए। तर तिनले यहूदीहरूको डरले यो गुप्त राखे। पिलातसले योसेफलाई येशूको शरीर लान सक्छ भनेर अनुमति दिए। त्यसकारण योसेफ येशूको शरीर लिएर गए।

And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.
