וַיִּשָּׂ֨א Jacob va-yee-SA יַֽעֲקֹ֜ב lifted ya-uh-KOVE עֵינָ֗יו up ay-NAV וַיַּרְא֙ his va-yahr וְהִנֵּ֣ה eyes, veh-hee-NAY עֵשָׂ֣ו and ay-SAHV בָּ֔א looked, ba וְעִמּ֕וֹ and, veh-EE-moh אַרְבַּ֥ע behold, ar-BA מֵא֖וֹת Esau may-OTE אִ֑ישׁ came, eesh וַיַּ֣חַץ and va-YA-hahts אֶת with et הַיְלָדִ֗ים him hai-la-DEEM עַל four al לֵאָה֙ hundred lay-AH וְעַל men. veh-AL רָחֵ֔ל And ra-HALE וְעַ֖ל he veh-AL שְׁתֵּ֥י divided sheh-TAY הַשְּׁפָחֽוֹת׃ ha-sheh-fa-HOTE -
וַיָּ֧שֶׂם he va-YA-sem אֶת put et הַשְּׁפָח֛וֹת ha-sheh-fa-HOTE וְאֶת the veh-ET יַלְדֵיהֶ֖ן handmaids yahl-day-HEN רִֽאשֹׁנָ֑ה and ree-shoh-NA וְאֶת their veh-ET לֵאָ֤ה children lay-AH וִֽילָדֶ֙יהָ֙ foremost, vee-la-DAY-HA אַֽחֲרֹנִ֔ים and ah-huh-roh-NEEM וְאֶת Leah veh-ET רָחֵ֥ל and ra-HALE וְאֶת her veh-ET יוֹסֵ֖ף children yoh-SAFE אַֽחֲרֹנִֽים׃ after, AH-huh-roh-NEEM -
וְה֖וּא he veh-HOO עָבַ֣ר passed ah-VAHR לִפְנֵיהֶ֑ם over leef-nay-HEM וַיִּשְׁתַּ֤חוּ before va-yeesh-TA-hoo אַ֙רְצָה֙ them, AR-TSA שֶׁ֣בַע and SHEH-va פְּעָמִ֔ים bowed peh-ah-MEEM עַד himself ad גִּשְׁתּ֖וֹ to ɡeesh-TOH עַד the ad אָחִֽיו׃ ground ah-HEEV -
וַיָּ֨רָץ Esau va-YA-rohts עֵשָׂ֤ו ran ay-SAHV לִקְרָאתוֹ֙ to leek-ra-TOH וַֽיְחַבְּקֵ֔הוּ meet va-ha-beh-KAY-hoo וַיִּפֹּ֥ל him, va-yee-POLE עַל and al צַוָּארָ֖ו embraced tsa-wa-RAHV וַׄיִּׄשָּׁׄקֵ֑ׄהׄוּׄ him, va-yee-sha-kay-hoo וַיִּבְכּֽוּ׃ and va-yeev-KOO -
וַיִּשָּׂ֣א he va-yee-SA אֶת lifted et עֵינָ֗יו up ay-NAV וַיַּ֤רְא va-YAHR אֶת his et הַנָּשִׁים֙ eyes, ha-na-SHEEM וְאֶת and veh-ET הַיְלָדִ֔ים saw hai-la-DEEM וַיֹּ֖אמֶר va-YOH-mer מִי the mee אֵ֣לֶּה women A-leh לָּ֑ךְ and lahk וַיֹּאמַ֕ר the va-yoh-MAHR הַיְלָדִ֕ים children; hai-la-DEEM אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER חָנַ֥ן said, ha-NAHN אֱלֹהִ֖ים Who ay-loh-HEEM אֶת are et עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ those av-DEH-ha -
וַתִּגַּ֧שְׁןָ the va-tee-ɡAHSH-na הַשְּׁפָח֛וֹת handmaidens ha-sheh-fa-HOTE הֵ֥נָּה came HAY-na וְיַלְדֵיהֶ֖ן near, veh-yahl-day-HEN וַתִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶֽיןָ׃ they va-TEE-sheh-ta-huh-VAY-na -
וַתִּגַּ֧שׁ Leah va-tee-ɡAHSH גַּם also ɡahm לֵאָ֛ה with lay-AH וִֽילָדֶ֖יהָ her vee-la-DAY-ha וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֑וּ children va-yee-sheh-ta-huh-VOO וְאַחַ֗ר came veh-ah-HAHR נִגַּ֥שׁ near, nee-ɡAHSH יוֹסֵ֛ף and yoh-SAFE וְרָחֵ֖ל bowed veh-ra-HALE וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֽוּ׃ themselves: va-YEE-sheh-ta-huh-VOO -
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר he va-YOH-mer מִ֥י said, mee לְךָ֛ What leh-HA כָּל meanest kahl הַמַּֽחֲנֶ֥ה thou ha-ma-huh-NEH הַזֶּ֖ה by ha-ZEH אֲשֶׁ֣ר all uh-SHER פָּגָ֑שְׁתִּי this pa-ɡA-sheh-tee וַיֹּ֕אמֶר drove va-YOH-mer לִמְצֹא which leem-TSOH חֵ֖ן I hane בְּעֵינֵ֥י met? beh-ay-NAY אֲדֹנִֽי׃ And uh-doh-NEE -
וַיֹּ֥אמֶר Esau va-YOH-mer עֵשָׂ֖ו said, ay-SAHV יֶשׁ I yesh לִ֣י have lee רָ֑ב enough, rahv אָחִ֕י my ah-HEE יְהִ֥י brother; yeh-HEE לְךָ֖ keep leh-HA אֲשֶׁר that uh-SHER לָֽךְ׃ thou lahk -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Jacob va-YOH-mer יַֽעֲקֹ֗ב said, ya-uh-KOVE אַל Nay, al נָא֙ I na אִם pray eem נָ֨א thee, na מָצָ֤אתִי if ma-TSA-tee חֵן֙ now hane בְּעֵינֶ֔יךָ I beh-ay-NAY-ha וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֥ have veh-la-kahk-TA מִנְחָתִ֖י found meen-ha-TEE מִיָּדִ֑י grace mee-ya-DEE כִּ֣י in kee עַל thy al כֵּ֞ן sight, kane רָאִ֣יתִי then ra-EE-tee פָנֶ֗יךָ receive fa-NAY-ha כִּרְאֹ֛ת my keer-OTE פְּנֵ֥י present peh-NAY אֱלֹהִ֖ים at ay-loh-HEEM וַתִּרְצֵֽנִי׃ my va-teer-TSAY-nee -
קַח I kahk נָ֤א pray na אֶת thee, et בִּרְכָתִי֙ beer-ha-TEE אֲשֶׁ֣ר my uh-SHER הֻבָ֣את blessing hoo-VAHT לָ֔ךְ that lahk כִּֽי is kee חַנַּ֥נִי brought ha-NA-nee אֱלֹהִ֖ים to ay-loh-HEEM וְכִ֣י thee; veh-HEE יֶשׁ because yesh לִי God lee כֹ֑ל hath hole וַיִּפְצַר dealt va-yeef-TSAHR בּ֖וֹ graciously boh וַיִּקָּֽח׃ with va-yee-KAHK -
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר he va-YOH-mer נִסְעָ֣ה said, nees-AH וְנֵלֵ֑כָה Let veh-nay-LAY-ha וְאֵֽלְכָ֖ה us veh-ay-leh-HA לְנֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃ take leh-neɡ-DEH-ha -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer אֵלָ֗יו said ay-LAV אֲדֹנִ֤י unto uh-doh-NEE יֹדֵ֙עַ֙ him, yoh-DAY-AH כִּֽי My kee הַיְלָדִ֣ים lord hai-la-DEEM רַכִּ֔ים knoweth ra-KEEM וְהַצֹּ֥אן that veh-ha-TSONE וְהַבָּקָ֖ר the veh-ha-ba-KAHR עָל֣וֹת children ah-LOTE עָלָ֑י are ah-LAI וּדְפָקוּם֙ tender, oo-deh-fa-KOOM י֣וֹם and yome אֶחָ֔ד the eh-HAHD וָמֵ֖תוּ flocks va-MAY-too כָּל and kahl הַצֹּֽאן׃ herds ha-TSONE -
יַֽעֲבָר my YA-uh-vore נָ֥א lord, na אֲדֹנִ֖י I uh-doh-NEE לִפְנֵ֣י pray leef-NAY עַבְדּ֑וֹ thee, av-DOH וַֽאֲנִ֞י pass va-uh-NEE אֶֽתְנָהֲלָ֣ה over eh-teh-na-huh-LA לְאִטִּ֗י before leh-ee-TEE לְרֶ֨גֶל his leh-REH-ɡel הַמְּלָאכָ֤ה servant: ha-meh-la-HA אֲשֶׁר and uh-SHER לְפָנַי֙ I leh-fa-NA וּלְרֶ֣גֶל will oo-leh-REH-ɡel הַיְלָדִ֔ים lead hai-la-DEEM עַ֛ד on ad אֲשֶׁר softly, uh-SHER אָבֹ֥א according ah-VOH אֶל as el אֲדֹנִ֖י the uh-doh-NEE שֵׂעִֽירָה׃ cattle say-EE-ra -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Esau va-YOH-mer עֵשָׂ֔ו said, ay-SAHV אַצִּֽיגָה Let ah-TSEE-ɡa נָּ֣א me na עִמְּךָ֔ now ee-meh-HA מִן leave meen הָעָ֖ם with ha-AM אֲשֶׁ֣ר thee uh-SHER אִתִּ֑י some ee-TEE וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ of va-YOH-MER לָ֣מָּה the LA-ma זֶּ֔ה folk zeh אֶמְצָא that em-TSA חֵ֖ן are hane בְּעֵינֵ֥י with beh-ay-NAY אֲדֹנִֽי׃ me. uh-doh-NEE -
וַיָּשָׁב֩ Esau va-ya-SHAHV בַּיּ֨וֹם returned BA-yome הַה֥וּא that ha-HOO עֵשָׂ֛ו day ay-SAHV לְדַרְכּ֖וֹ on leh-dahr-KOH שֵׂעִֽירָה׃ his say-EE-ra -
וְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ Jacob veh-ya-uh-KOVE נָסַ֣ע journeyed na-SA סֻכֹּ֔תָה to soo-KOH-ta וַיִּ֥בֶן Succoth, va-YEE-ven ל֖וֹ and loh בָּ֑יִת built BA-yeet וּלְמִקְנֵ֙הוּ֙ him oo-leh-meek-NAY-HOO עָשָׂ֣ה an ah-SA סֻכֹּ֔ת house, soo-KOTE עַל and al כֵּ֛ן made kane קָרָ֥א booths ka-RA שֵׁם for shame הַמָּק֖וֹם his ha-ma-KOME סֻכּֽוֹת׃ cattle: soo-kote -
וַיָּבֹא֩ Jacob va-ya-VOH יַֽעֲקֹ֨ב came ya-uh-KOVE שָׁלֵ֜ם to sha-LAME עִ֣יר Shalem, eer שְׁכֶ֗ם a sheh-HEM אֲשֶׁר֙ city uh-SHER בְּאֶ֣רֶץ of beh-EH-rets כְּנַ֔עַן Shechem, keh-NA-an בְּבֹא֖וֹ which beh-voh-OH מִפַּדַּ֣ן is mee-pa-DAHN אֲרָ֑ם in uh-RAHM וַיִּ֖חַן the va-YEE-hahn אֶת land et פְּנֵ֥י of peh-NAY הָעִֽיר׃ Canaan, ha-EER -
וַיִּ֜קֶן he va-YEE-ken אֶת bought et חֶלְקַ֣ת hel-KAHT הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה a ha-sa-DEH אֲשֶׁ֤ר parcel uh-SHER נָֽטָה of NA-ta שָׁם֙ a shahm אָֽהֳל֔וֹ field, ah-hoh-LOH מִיַּ֥ד where mee-YAHD בְּנֵֽי beh-NAY חֲמ֖וֹר he huh-MORE אֲבִ֣י had uh-VEE שְׁכֶ֑ם spread sheh-HEM בְּמֵאָ֖ה his beh-may-AH קְשִׂיטָֽה׃ tent, keh-see-TA -
וַיַּצֶּב he va-ya-TSEV שָׁ֖ם erected shahm מִזְבֵּ֑חַ there meez-BAY-ak וַיִּ֨קְרָא an va-YEEK-ra ל֔וֹ altar, loh אֵ֖ל and ale אֱלֹהֵ֥י called ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ it yees-ra-ALE
