Genesis 32 - YLT (Nepali)

1 And Jacob hath gone on his way, and messengers of God come upon him;याकूबले पनि त्यो ठाउँ छोड्‌यो। जब ऊ यात्रा गरिरहेको थियो उनले परमेश्वरको स्वर्गदूतहरूलाई देख्यो।

2 and Jacob saith, when he hath seen them, `This `is' the camp of God;' and he calleth the name of that place `Two Camps.'जब याकूबले तिनीहरूलाई देख्यो, उसले भन्यो, “यो परमेश्वरको शिविर हो।” यसैकारण उसले त्यस ठाउँको नाउँ ‘महनोम’ राख्यो।

3 And Jacob sendeth messengers before him unto Esau his brother, towards the land of Seir, the field of Edom,याकूबको दाज्यू एसाव सईर नाउँको प्रान्तमा बस्दै थियो। त्यो इलाका एदोमको पहाडी भूमिमा थियो। याकूबले एसावकहाँ दूतहरू पठायो।

4 and commandeth them, saying, `Thus do ye say to my lord, to Esau: Thus said thy servant Jacob, With Laban I have sojourned, and I tarry until now;याकूबले आफ्ना दूतहरूलाई भन्यो, “यी कुराहरू मेरा मालिक एसावलाई भन। ‘तपाईंका सेवक याकूब भन्छन्, म लाबानसँग याति लामो समय सम्म बसिरहेकोछु।

5 and I have ox, and ass, flock, and man-servant, and maid-servant, and I send to declare to my lord, to find grace in his eyes.'मसित गाई, गधा, भेडाहरू र नोकर-नोकर्नी छन्। महाशय, तपाईंले हामीलाई ग्रहण गर्नु होस् भनी यो समाचार पठाउँदैछु।”‘

6 And the messengers turn back unto Jacob, saying, `We came in unto thy brother, unto Esau, and he also is coming to meet thee, and four hundred men with him;'ती दूतहरू याकूबकहाँ फर्केर आए अनि भने, “हामी तपाईंका दाज्यू एसावकहाँ गयौं। उनी तपाईंलाई भेट्न चार सय मानिसहरू सहित आउँदैछन्।”

7 and Jacob feareth exceedingly, and is distressed, and he divideth the people who `are' with him, and the flock, and the herd, and the camels, into two camps,त्यस समाचारले याकूबलाई आतंकित बनायो। उनले आफूसित भएका मानिसहरूलाई दुई भागमा बाँड्यो। उनले गाई-वस्तु, भेडा बाख्राहरू र ऊँटहरू दुई भाग पार्यो।

8 and saith, `If Esau come in unto the one camp, and have smitten it -- then the camp which is left hath been for an escape.'याकूबले सोच्यो, “एसाव आएर ध्वंश पारे पनि एक भाग चाँहि भागेर बाँच्न सक्छ।”

9 And Jacob saith, `God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, Jehovah who saith unto me, Turn back to thy land, and to thy kindred, and I do good with thee:याकूबले भने, “हे मेरा पिता अब्राहामका परमेश्वर, मेरा पिता इसहाकका परमेश्वर! परमप्रभु तपाईंले मलाई आफ्नो भूमि र परिवार भएको ठाउँमा जान भन्नुभयो। तपाईंले भन्नुभयो तपाईंले मलाई राम्रो गर्नु हुनेछ।

10 I have been unworthy of all the kind acts, and of all the truth which Thou hast done with thy servant -- for, with my staff I passed over this Jordan, and now I have become two camps.तपाईं मेरो निम्ति अति दयालु हुनु हुन्छ। अनि तपाईंले मेरो निम्ति धेरै असल कार्यहरू गर्नु भएको छ। म पहिलो चोटी यर्दन नदी पारी यात्रा गर्दा मसँग टेक्ने लट्ठी बाहेक केही थिएन। तर अहिले मसित यति धेरै चीजहरू छन् म ती चीजहरू दुइ भागमा बाँड्न सक्छु।

11 `Deliver me, I pray Thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I am fearing him, less he come and have smitten me -- mother beside sons;म तपाईंसित प्रार्थना गर्छु कृपा गरेर मलाई मेरो दाज्यू एसावबाट बचाउनु होस्। म ऊसित डराएको छु। किनभने ऊ आउँछ अनि मलाई मार्नेछ, उनले नानीहरूको आमा तथा नानीहरू पनि मार्नेछ।

12 and Thou -- Thou hast said, I certainly do good with thee, and have set thy seed as the sand of the sea, which is not numbered because of the multitude.'तर तपाईं आफैले भन्नुभयो, ‘म निश्चय नै तिम्रो उन्नति गराउने छु अनि तिम्रा सन्तानहरू संख्यामा यति धेरै बनाउने छु तिनीहरू समुद्रको बालुकाका कणभन्दा बढी हुनेछन् अनि तिनीहरूलाई गन्ती गर्न सकिन्न।”‘

13 And he lodgeth there during that night, and taketh from that which is coming into his hand, a present for Esau his brother:अनि याकूबले त्यो रात त्यही बितायो। उनले उसको दाज्यू एसावको निम्ति केही उपहार तयार पार्यो।

14 she-goats two hundred, and he-goats twenty, ewes two hundred, and rams twenty,याकूबले दुइ सयवटा बाख्रा, बीसवटा बोका, दुइ सयवटा भेडा,

15 suckling camels and their young ones thirty, cows forty, and bullocks ten, she-asses twenty, and foals ten;बीसवटा ठूलो भेडा, तीसवटा दुधारू ऊँट माऊहरू बाछाहरू समेत एकतिर छुट्‌यायो।

16 and he giveth into the hand of his servants, every drove by itself, and saith unto his servants, `Pass over before me, and a space ye do put between drove and drove.'याकूबले प्रत्येक बथान पशुहरू आफ्नो नोकरहरूलाई दियो। तब उनले नोकरहरूलाई भने, “पशुहरूको प्रत्येक हुललाई छुट्‌याऊ। मभन्दा अघि जाऊ अनि प्रत्येक हुलको बीचमा केही दूरी होस्।”

17 And he commandeth the first, saying, `When Esau my brother meeteth thee, and hath asked thee, saying, Whose `art' thou? and whither goest thou? and whose `are' these before thee?याकूबले तिनीहरूलाई आदेश दियो। पशुहरूको पहिलो हुलको नोकरलाई उनले भने, “मेरो दाज्यू एसाव जब तेरो अघि आएर सोध्छ, ‘यी कसका पशुहरू हुन्? तँ कहाँ जादैछस्? तँ कसको नोकर होस्?’

18 then thou hast said, Thy servant Jacob's: it `is' a present sent to my lord, to Esau; and lo, he also `is' behind us.'तैंले उत्तर दिनु ‘यी पशुहरू तपाईंको दास याकूबका हुन्। उनले यी सब पशुहरू आफ्नो मालिक एसावलाई उपहार दिन पठाएका हुन्। याकूब पनि हाम्रोपछि आउँदै हुनुहुन्छ।”‘

19 And he commandeth also the second, also the third, also all who are going after the droves, saying, `According to this manner do ye speak unto Esau in your finding him,याकूबले दोस्रो, तेस्रो नोकरहरू र सबै अरू नोकरहरूलाई पनि यही कुरा गर्नु भनी आज्ञा दियो। उनले भने, “जब तिमीहरूले एसावलाई भेट्छौ तब यही कुरा गर्नु।

20 and ye have said also, Lo, thy servant Jacob `is' behind us;' for he said, `I pacify his face with the present which is going before me, and afterwards I see his face; it may be he lifteth up my face;'तिमीहरूले भन्ने छौ, ‘यो तपाईंलाई उपहार हो, अनि तपाईंको दास याकूब पनि मानिसहरूको पछि-पछि आउँदैछन्।”‘याकूबले सोच्यो, “यदि यी उपहारहरूसंगै मानिसहरूलाई पठाएँ भने हुनसक्छ एसावले मलाई क्षमा गर्ला अनि मलाई स्वीकार गर्नेछ।”

21 and the present passeth over before his face, and he hath lodged during that night in the camp.यसकारण उसले पहिला उपहार पठायो अनि ऊ त्यस राती शिविरमा नै बस्यो।

22 And he riseth in that night, and taketh his two wives, and his two maid-servants, and his eleven children, and passeth over the passage of Jabbok;त्यसपछि राती उठेर उनले त्यो ठाउँ छोड्‌यो। उसले आफूसँग दुइ पत्नी, दुइ कमारी अनि आफ्नो एघारजना छोराहरूलाई लिएर हिंड्‌यो। घाटमा पुगेर याकूबले यब्बोक नदी पार गर्यो।

23 and he taketh them, and causeth them to pass over the brook, and he causeth that which he hath to pass over.उसले आफ्नो परिवारलाई नदी पारी पठायो अनि ऊसंग भएका प्रत्येक चीज नदी पारी पठायो।

24 And Jacob is left alone, and one wrestleth with him till the ascending of the dawn;याकूब नदी तर्ने अन्तिम मानिस थियो। तर नदी तर्नुअघि जब याकूब एक्लै थियो, एकजना मानिस आयो अनि ऊसित कुश्ती लड्न थाल्यो। त्यस मानिसले घाम झुल्किञ्जेलसम्म कुश्ती लड्‌यो।

25 and he seeth that he is not able for him, and he cometh against the hollow of his thigh, and the hollow of Jacob's thigh is disjointed in his wrestling with him;त्यस मानिसले थाहा पायो ऊ याकूबलाई जित्नु योग्य छैन। यसैकारण उनले याकूबको नित्मबको खोपिल्टामा हिर्कायो। याकूबको नितम्ब जोर्नीबाट फूस्कियो जब ऊ त्यस मानिससंग कुश्ती लडदै थियो।

26 and he saith, `Send me away, for the dawn hath ascended:' and he saith, `I send thee not away, except thou hast blessed me.'तब त्यस मानिसले याकूबलाई भने, “मलाई जान देऊ। सूर्योदय भइरहेको छ।”तर याकूबले भन्यो, “जबसम्म तिमी मलाई आशीर्वाद दिंदैनौ म तिमीलाई जान दिने छैन।”

27 And he saith unto him, `What `is' thy name?' and he saith, `Jacob.'अनि त्यस मानिसले उसलाई भन्यो, “तिम्रो नाउँ के हो?”अनि याकूबले उत्तर दियो, “मेरो नाउँ याकूब हो।”

28 And he saith, `Thy name is no more called Jacob, but Israel; for thou hast been a prince with God and with men, and dost prevail.'तब त्यो मानिसले भने, “तिम्रो नाउँ याकूब रहने छैन। अब तिम्रो नाउँ ‘इस्राएल’ हुनेछ। म तिमीलाई यो नाउँ दिन्छु किनभने तिमीले परमेश्वर र मानिससित युद्ध गरेका छौ अनि तिनीहरू तिमीलाई जित्न अयोग्य भए।”

29 And Jacob asketh, and saith, `Declare, I pray thee, thy name;' and he saith, `Why `is' this, thou askest for My name?' and He blesseth him there.तब याकूबले उनलाई सोधे, “दया गरी मलाई तँपाइको नाउँ बताउनु होस्।”तर त्यस मानिसले भने, “तिमीले मेरो नाउँ किन सोध्नु पर्यो?” त्यस बेला त्यस मानिसले याकूबलाई आशीर्वाद दियो।

30 And Jacob calleth the name of the place Peniel: for `I have seen God face unto face, and my life is delivered;'यसर्थ याकूबले त्यस ठाउँको नाउँ पनीएल राख्यो। याकूबले भन्यो, “मैले यस ठाउँमा परमेश्वरलाई मुखा-मुख देखेको थिएँ तर अझै मेरो जीवन सुरक्षित थियो।”

31 and the sun riseth on him when he hath passed over Penuel, and he is halting on his thigh;उनले जब त्यो ठाऊँ छोड्यो, सूर्य उदायो। याकूब आफ्नो खुट्टाले गर्दा खोल्च्यङ्ग-खोल्च्यङ्ग गर्दै हिड्दैथ्यो।

32 therefore the sons of Israel do not eat the sinew which shrank, which `is' on the hollow of the thigh, unto this day, because He came against the hollow of Jacob's thigh, against the sinew which shrank.यसर्थ आजसम्म पनि इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले कम्मरको जोडनीको मासु खाँदैनन् कारण त्यही मांसपेशी हो जसमा याकूबलाई चोट लागेको थियो।
