Genesis 25 - YLT (Nepali)

1 And Abraham addeth and taketh a wife, and her name `is' Keturah;अब्राहामले फेरि विवाह गरे अनि तिनकी नयाँ पत्नीको नाउँ कतुरा थियो।

2 and she beareth to him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.कतुराले जिम्रान, योक्षान, मदान, मिद्यान, यिशबाक र शूहालाई जन्माइन्।

3 And Jokshan hath begotten Sheba and Dedan; and the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim;योक्षान, शबा अनि ददानका बुबा थिए। ददानका सन्तानहरू, अश्शूरी, लतूशी अनि लऊम्मी हुन्।

4 and the sons of Midian `are' Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah: all these `are' sons of Keturah.एपा, एपेर, हनोक अबीदा अनि एल्दा मिद्यानका छोराहरू थिए। अब्राहाम र कतुराको विवाहबाट यी नानीहरू भए।

5 And Abraham giveth all that he hath to Isaac;अब्राहामको मृत्यु हुनु अघि नै आफ्नो नोकर्नीहरूका छोराहरूलाई केही उपहारहरू दिए अनि तिनीहरूलाई पूर्बतिर पठाइदिए।

6 and to the sons of the concubines whom Abraham hath, Abraham hath given gifts, and sendeth them away from Isaac his son (in his being yet alive) eastward, unto the east country.तिनीहरूलाई इसहाकदेखि टाढा पठाइदिए। त्यसपछि आफूसँग जे जति थियो अब्राहामले इसहाकलाई दिए।

7 And these `are' the days of the years of the life of Abraham, which he lived, a hundred and seventy and five years;अब्राहाम एक सय पचहत्तर वर्षसम्म स्वस्थ थिए।

8 and Abraham expireth, and dieth in a good old age, aged and satisfied, and is gathered unto his people.त्यसपछि तिनी दुर्बल भए अनि मरे। तिनी घेरै वर्षसम्म आनन्दपूर्वक बाँचे। तिनलाई तिनका पुर्खाहरूसितै गाडियो।

9 And Isaac and Ishmael his sons bury him at the cave of Machpelah, at the field of Ephron, son of Zoar the Hittite, which `is' before Mamre --तिनका छोराहरू इसहाक अनि इश्माएलले तिनलाई मक्पेलाको ओडारमा गाडे। यो ओडार सोअरको छोरो एप्रोनको खेतमा थियो। यो मम्रेको पूर्वमा थियो।

10 the field which Abraham bought from the sons of Heth -- there hath Abraham been buried, and Sarah his wife.यो त्यही ओडार थियो जुन अब्राहामले हित्ती मानिसहरूबाट किनेका थिए। अब्राहाम र तिनकी पत्नी सारालाई त्यही ओडारमा गाडे।

11 And it cometh to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blesseth Isaac his son; and Isaac dwelleth by the Well of the Living One, my Beholder.अब्राहामको मृत्यु भएपछि परमेश्वरले इसहाकलाई आशीर्वाद दिनुभयो अनि तिनी बेर-लहै-रोईमा बसिरहे।

12 And these `are' births of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, hath borne to Abraham;इश्माएलको परिवारको सूची यही हो। इश्माएल अब्राहाम र हागारको छोरो थिए। हागार साराकी मीश्र देशी कमारी थिइन्

13 and these `are' the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their births: first-born of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,इश्माएलका छोराहरूको नाउँ यस प्रकार थियो। पहिलो छोरो नबायोत थियो। त्यसपछि जन्मनेहरूको सूची अनुसार केदार, अबदेल, मिब्साम,

14 and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,मिश्मा, दुमा, मस्सा,

15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:हदद, तेमा, यतूर, नपीश अनि केदमा थिए।

16 these are sons of Ishmael, and these their names, by their villages, and by their towers; twelve princes according to their peoples.तिनीहरूको पर्खालभित्र र बाहिरको सम्झौता अनुसार यिनीहरू इस्राएलका छोराहरू थिए।

17 And these `are' the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred and thirty and seven years; and he expireth, and dieth, and is gathered unto his people;इश्माएल एक सय सैंतीस वर्षसम्म बाँचे। त्यसपछि उनको मृत्यु भयो। अनि उनलाई उनका आफन्तहरू गाडेको ठाउँमा गाडियो।

18 and they tabernacle from Havilah unto Shur, which `is' before Egypt, in `thy' going towards Asshur; in the presence of all his brethren hath he fallen.इश्माएलका सन्तानहरू समस्त मरूभूमिको इलाकामा बसे। यिनीहरूको इलाका हवीलादेखि शूरको नजिक मिश्रको सीमा र यसको पनि अघि अश्शूरको किनारसम्म थियो। तिनीहरू घुमी हिंडे अनि आफ्नो दाज्यू-भाइ, सन्तानहरू र भूमिमाथि आक्रमण गरिरहे।

19 And these `are' births of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham hath begotten Isaac;इसहाक अब्राहामको छोरो थियो र यो तिनको वृत्तान्त कथा हो।

20 and Isaac is a son of forty years in his taking Rebekah, daughter of Bethuel the Aramaean, from Padan-Aram, sister of Laban the Aramaean, to him for a wife.जब इसहाक चालीस वर्षका भए उनले रिबेका नाउँकी कन्यासित विवाह गरे। रिबेका पद्दन-आराम भनिने ठाउँकी थिइन् अनि अरामी बतूएलकी छोरी र अरामी लाबानकी बहिनी थिइन्।

21 And Isaac maketh entreaty to Jehovah before his wife, for she `is' barren: and Jehovah is entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceiveth,इसहाककी पत्नी रिबेका बाँझी थिई। यसर्थ इसहाकले आफ्नी पत्नीका निम्ति परमप्रभुसित प्रार्थना गरे। परमप्रभुले तिनको प्रार्थना सुन्नु भयो अनि रिबेका गर्भवती भइन्।

22 and the children struggle together within her, and she saith, `If `it is' right -- why `am' I thus?' and she goeth to seek Jehovah.जब रिबेका गर्भवती भइन्, उनले आफ्नो गर्भमा भएको शिशुबाट अत्यन्तै कष्ट सहनु पर्यो। उनको गर्भमा भएको शिशुहरू गर्भभित्रै आपसमा एका-अर्कामा लडाइँ गर्थे। रिबेकाले परमप्रभुसित प्रार्थना गरिन् अनि भनिन्, “मसित यस्तो किन भइरहेकोछ?”

23 And Jehovah saith to her, `Two nations `are' in thy womb, and two peoples from thy bowels are parted; and the `one' people than the `other' people is stronger; and the elder doth serve the younger.'परमप्रभुले उनलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिम्रो कोखमा दुइवटा राष्ट्रहरू छन्। दुइवटा राष्ट्रका राजाहरू तिमीबाट जन्मनेछन् र तिनीहरू छुट्टीनेछन्। एउटा छोरो अर्को छोरोभन्दा शाक्तिशाली हुनेछ अनि जेठाले कान्छाको सेवा गर्नेछ।”

24 And her days to bear are fulfilled, and lo, twins `are' in her womb;अनि जब समय पूरा भयो तब रिबेकाले जुमल्याहा छोरा जन्माइन्।

25 and the first cometh out all red as a hairy robe, and they call his name Esau;पहिलो छोरो रातो वर्णको थियो अनि उसको छाला भुत्लाले बनिएको लुगा जस्तो थियो। यसर्थ उसको नाउँ एसाव राखियो।

26 and afterwards hath his brother come out, and his hand is taking hold on Esau's heel, and one calleth his name Jacob; and Isaac `is' a son of sixty years in her bearing them.जब दोस्रो छोरो जन्मियो। उनले पहिलो छोरो एसावको कुर्कुच्चा बलियोसित समातेको थियो। यसैले उसको नाउँ याकूब राखियो। एसाव र याकूब जन्मदा इसहाक साठी वर्ष पुगेका थिए।

27 And the youths grew, and Esau is a man acquainted `with' hunting, a man of the field; and Jacob `is' a plain man, inhabiting tents;केटाहरू हलहली बढे। एसाव एकजना सिपालु शिकारी भयो अनि ऊ मैदानतिरै बस्न मन पराउँथ्यो। तर याकूब शान्त स्वभावको थियो अनि पाल भित्रै बस्थयो।

28 and Isaac loveth Esau, for `his' hunting `is' in his mouth; and Rebekah is loving Jacob.इसहाकले एसावलाई मन पराउँथिए अनि उनले मारेको जनवारहरूको मासु खान रूचाउँथिए। तर रिबेकाले याकूवलाई माया गर्थिन्।

29 And Jacob boileth pottage, and Esau cometh in from the field, and he `is' weary;एकदिन एसाव शिकारबाट थाकेर भोकले हत्तु भएर फर्केर आयो। याकूब एक भाँडा सिमी उसिनिरहेको थियो।

30 and Esau saith unto Jacob, `Let me eat, I pray thee, some of this red red thing, for I `am' weary;' therefore hath `one' called his name Edom `Red';यसर्थ एसावले याकूबलई भने, “म भोकले दुर्बल भइरहेकोछु। मलाई त्यो केही रातो सिमी खान देऊ। (यही कारणले मानिसहरूले उसलाई एदोम भन्ने गर्द थिए।)

31 and Jacob saith, `Sell to-day thy birthright to me.'तर याकूबले उनलाई भने, “पहिला तिमीले मलाई जेठा छोराको जन्मअधिकार बेच्नु पर्छ।”

32 And Esau saith, `Lo, I am going to die, and what is this to me -- birthright?'एसावले भने, “म भोकले मर्न आँटेकोछु। यदि म मरें भने मेरो बाबुको सबै सम्पत्तिले पनि केही सहायता गर्न सक्तैन। यसर्थ म मेरो अंश दिइहाल्छु।”

33 and Jacob saith, `Swear to me to-day:' and he sweareth to him, and selleth his birthright to Jacob;तर याकूबले भने, “पहिले मलाई वचन दे तैंले मलाई त्यो दिन्छस्।” यसकारण एसावले याकूबलाई वचन दियो। एसावले आफ्नो बाबुको सम्पत्तिको आफ्नो ज्येष्ठ-अधिकार याकूबलाई बेचि दियो।

34 and Jacob hath given to Esau bread and pottage of lentiles, and he eateth, and drinketh, and riseth, and goeth; and Esau despiseth the birthright.तब याकूबले एसावलाई रोटी र भोजन दियो। एसावले खायो, र हिड्‌यो। यस प्रकारले एसावले यो देखायो आफू पहिलो छोरो भएकोमा उसलाई आफ्नो ज्येष्ठ-अधिकारको कुनै पर्वाह छैन।इसहाकले अबीमेलेकसित झुट्टो कुरा गर्छन
