Genesis 15 - YLT (Nepali)

1 After these things hath the word of Jehovah been unto Abram in a vision, saying, `Fear not, Abram, I `am' a shield to thee, thy reward `is' exceeding great.'यी सब कुराहरू भई सकेपछि अब्रामलाई परमप्रभुबाट दर्शनद्वारा केही संदेशहरू आए। परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “अब्राम तिमी नडराऊ। म तिम्रो ढाल हुँ। तिम्रो इनाम अत्यन्त विशाल हुनेछ।”

2 And Abram saith, `Lord Jehovah, what dost Thou give to me, and I am going childless? and an acquired son in my house is Demmesek Eliezer.'अब्रामले भने, “हे परमप्रभु परमेश्वर! हजुरले मलाई के दिनुहुन्छ? यस्तो हजुरले दिंदा मलाई खुशी पार्ने केही छैन। किन? किनभने, मसित छोरा छैन। यसर्थ मेरो घरमा जन्मेको कमारा दमीसकको एलीएजरले मेरो मृत्यु पछाडी मसँग भएका सबै सम्पत्ति पाउँनेछ।”

3 And Abram saith, `Lo, to me Thou hast not given seed, and lo, a domestic doth heir me.'अब्रामले भने, “तपाईंले मलाई एउटा छोरा दिनुभएको छैन, अतः मेरो घरमा जन्मेको कमाराले मेरो जम्मै सम्पत्ति पाउनेछ।”

4 And lo, the word of Jehovah `is' unto him, saying, `This `one' doth not heir thee; but he who cometh out from thy bowels, he doth heir thee;'त्यसपछि परमप्रभुले अब्रामसित कुरा गर्नु भयो। परमेश्वरले भन्नुभयो, “तिमीसँग भएको सम्पत्ति त्यो कमारोले पाउँदैन। तिम्रो आफ्नै छोरो जन्मनेछ। अनि तिम्रो सम्पत्तिको उत्तराधिकारी उही तिम्रो छोरो हुनेछ।”

5 and He bringeth him out without, and saith, `Look attentively, I pray thee, towards the heavens, and count the stars, if thou art able to count them;' and He saith to him, `Thus is thy seed.'त्यसपछि परमेश्वरले अब्रामलाई बाहिर लानु भयो र भन्नुभयो, “आकाशमा हेर, तिमीले त्यहाँ यति धेरै ताराहरू देख्नेछौ गन्नु सक्तैनौ। भविष्यमा तिम्रा पनि त्यति धेरै सन्तानहरू हुनेछन्।”

6 And he hath believed in Jehovah, and He reckoneth it to him -- righteousness.अब्रामले परमेश्वरलाई विश्वास गरे अनि परमेश्वरले अब्रामको विश्वासलाई विचार गर्नुभयो कि उसले वास्तवमा के गराउन चाहन्थे।

7 And He saith unto him, `I `am' Jehovah who brought thee out from Ur of the Chaldees, to give to thee this land to possess it;'परमेश्वरले अब्रामलाई भन्नुभयो, “म उही परमप्रभु हुँ जसले तिमीलाई कल्दीहरूको ऊरबाट ल्यायो। मैले यसो गर्नुको तात्पर्य तिमीलाई यो भूमि दिनु हो, यो भूमि तिमीले ग्रहण गर्नेछौ।”

8 and he saith, `Lord Jehovah, whereby do I know that I possess it?'तर अब्रामले भने, “हे परमप्रभु मेरा मालिक, यो भूमि मैले नै पाउनेछु भनी म कसरी थाहा पाउन सक्छु?”

9 And He saith unto him, `Take for Me a heifer of three years, and a she-goat of three years, and a ram of three years, and a turtle-dove, and a young bird;'परमेश्वरले अब्रामलाई भन्नुभयो, “हामी एउटा करार गर्नेछौं। एउटा तीन वर्षको कोरली, त्यसरी नै तीन वर्ष पुगेको बाख्रा अनि तीन वर्ष पुगेको एउटा भेडा ल्याऊ। अनि एउटा ढुक्कुर र एउटा परेवाको बच्चा पनि ल्याऊ।”

10 and he taketh to him all these, and separateth them in the midst, and putteth each piece over against its fellow, but the bird he hath not divided;परमेश्वरको निम्ति अब्रामले यी सबै कुराहरू ल्याएर यी सबै कुराको बलि चढाई ती सबलाई दुई-दुई टुक्रा पारे। तब अब्रामले प्रत्येक आधा भागलाई अर्को आधा भाग माथि र्तेस्याए। तर तिनले पंक्षीहरूलाई टुक्रा पारेनन्।

11 and the ravenous birds come down upon the carcases, and Abram causeth them to turn back.पछि, ती पशुको मासु खान ठूला-ठूला पंक्षीहरू उडेर आए तर अब्रामले तिनीहरूलाई धपाए।

12 And the sun is about to go in, and deep sleep hath fallen upon Abram, and lo, a terror of great darkness is falling upon him;पछि सूर्य अस्ताउन लाग्दा अब्रामलाई साह्रै निन्द्रा लाग्यो। चुक झैं कालो अन्धकारले उसलाई चारै तिरबाट घेर्यो।

13 and He saith to Abram, `knowing -- know that thy seed is a sojourner in a land not theirs, and they have served them, and they have afflicted them four hundred years,तब परमप्रभुले अब्रामलाई भन्नुभयो, “तैंले यो निश्चय जान्नु पर्छ, तिम्रा सन्तानहरू विदेशी हुनेछन्, तिनीहरू त्यस धर्तीमा जानेछन् जो तिनीहरूको होइन, तिनीहरू त्यहाँ कमारा-कमारीको रूपमा चार सय वर्षसम्म सेवा गर्नेछन् अनि तिनीहरूसित धेरै खराब व्यवहार गरिनेछ। चार सय वर्षसम्म तिनीहरूले धेरै दुर्व्यवहार र अन्याय सहनु पर्नेछ।

14 and the nation also whom they serve I judge, and after this they go out with great substance;म त्यो जाति जसले तिम्रा सन्तानहरूलाई कमारा-कमारी बनाए तिनीहरूको न्याय गर्नेछु अनि जब तिमीपछि आउँने तिम्रा सन्तानहरूले त्यो देश छोडनेछन्, तिनीहरूले आफूसित धेरै राम्रा चीजहरू ल्याउँछन्।

15 and thou -- thou comest in unto thy fathers in peace; thou art buried in a good old age;“तर जहाँसम्म तेरो कुरा छ, तँ मनग्गे बाँच्नेछस्। तँ शान्तिपूर्वक मर्नेछस् अनि तँ त्यहीं गाडिनेछस् जहाँ तेरा पिता-पुर्खाहरूलाई गाडिएको थियो।

16 and the fourth generation doth turn back hither, for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet complete.'चार पुस्तापछि तिम्रा सन्तानहरू यही देशमा फर्केर आउनेछन् र तिनीहरूले एमोरीहरूलाई हराउँनेछन्। यहाँ बस्ने एमोरीहरूलाई सजाय भोग्न लगाउन म ती तिम्रा सन्तानहरूलाई प्रयोगमा ल्याउनेछु। यी सब कुराहरूपछि हुन्छ कारण ती एमोरीहरू अहिले सजाय पाउनुको निम्ति त्यति नराम्रो भई सकेका छैनन्।”

17 And it cometh to pass -- the sun hath gone in, and thick darkness hath been -- and lo, a furnace of smoke, and a lamp of fire, which hath passed over between those pieces.जब सूर्य अस्तायो, अत्यन्तै अंन्धकार छायो। बलि चढाई मारिएका पशुहरू दुइ-दुइ टुक्रामा अहिलेसम्म जमीनमा लडिरहेको थिए। त्यही समयमा धुँवाको मुस्लो जसमा बल्दै गरेको ज्वाला थियो ती मारेर टुक्रा पारिएको पशुहरू बीचबाट गए।

18 In that day hath Jehovah made with Abram a covenant, saying, `To thy seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Phrat,यस प्रकारले त्यसै दिन परमप्रभुले अब्रामसित एउटा सम्झौता गर्नु भयो अनि भन्नुभयो, “तेरा सन्तानहरूका लागि मात्र म यो घरती दिनेछु।

19 with the Kenite, and the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite,तिनीहरूलाई म मिश्रको नदीदेखि यूफ्रेटिस महानदीसम्म केनी कदमोनी, कनज्जी,

20 and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Rephaim,हित्ती, परिज्जी, रपाई,

21 and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Girgashite, and the Jebusite.'एमोरी कनानी, गिर्गाशी तथा यबूसी दिनेछु। यो सम्पूर्ण भूमि मिश्रको नदी अनि यूफ्रेटिस नदीको माझमा पर्छ।”
