Genesis 13 - BBE (Nepali)

1 And Abram went up out of Egypt with his wife and all he had, and Lot with him, and they came in to the South.अब्रामले उसकी पत्नी, भतिजो लूत अनि तिनीसंग भएका अन्य सबै वस्तुहरू लिएर नेगेब हुँदै मिश्र देश छोडे।

2 Now Abram had great wealth of cattle and silver and gold.यस समय अब्राम निकै धनी थिए कारण तिनीसँग घेरै गाई-वस्तु र घेरै सुन-चाँदीहरू थिए।

3 And travelling on from the South, he came to Beth-el, to the place where his tent had been before, between Beth-el and Ai;अब्रामले नेगेब पार गरे अनि बेतेल गए अनि त्यो स्थान बेतेल अनि ऐ शहरहरूको बीचमा आइपुगे।

4 To the place where he had made his first altar, and there Abram gave worship to the name of the Lord.त्यहाँ पाल बनाएका थिए अनि वेदी पनि बनाएका थिए। यसर्थ अब्रामले त्यहाँ परमप्रभुलाई उपासना गरे।अब्राम अनि लूत छुट्टीए

5 And Lot, who went with him, had flocks and herds and tents;त्यस समयमा लूत पनि अब्रामसित यात्रा गरिरहेको थियो अनि तिनीसंग पनि पशुहरू र पालहरू धेरै नै थिए।

6 So that the land was not wide enough for the two of them: their property was so great that there was not room for them together.अब्राम र लूतसित यति धेरै पशुहरू र सरसमानहरू भएकाले जग्गाको अभावले तिनीहरूलाई एकैठाउँ संगै बस्न असम्भव भयो।

7 And there was an argument between the keepers of Abram's cattle and the keepers of Lot's cattle: at that time the Canaanites and Perizzites were still living in the land.त्यसै समयमा त्यस भूमिमा कनानी परिज्जी मानिसहरू पनि बस्थे। अब्राम र लूतका गोठालाहरू एक-अर्कासंग झगडा गर्न थाले।

8 Then Abram said to Lot, Let there be no argument between me and you, and between my herdmen and your herdmen, for we are brothers.यसर्थ अब्रामले लूतलाई भने, “हामीहरू सबै दाज्यू-भाइहरू हौ, यसर्थ तँ र म अथवा तेरा मानिसहरू र मेरा मानिसहरू भनेर झगडा हुनु हुँदैन।

9 Is not all the land before you? then let us go our separate ways: if you go to the left, I will go to the right; or if you take the right, I will go to the left.हामी अलग-अलग बसौं र तँ आफ्नो इच्छा अनुसार ठाउँ रोज, यदि तँ देब्रेतिर गइस् भने म दाहिने तिर जानेछु र यदि तँ दाहिनेतिर गइस् भने म देब्रेतिर जानेछु।”

10 And Lot, lifting up his eyes and looking an the valley of Jordan, saw that it was well watered everywhere, before the Lord had sent destruction on Sodom and Gomorrah; it was like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, on the way to Zoar.लूतले भूमि खोजे अनि यर्दन नदीको बेंसीमा चाँहि पानी प्रशस्त भएको पाए। (यो परमप्रभुले सदोम र गमोरा ध्वंश पार्नु भन्दा अघिको कुरो हो। त्यस समयमा सोअरपट्टी यर्दनको बेंसी परमप्रभुको बगैंचा जस्तै थियो। यो भूमि मिश्रदेशको झैं राम्रो थियो।)

11 So Lot took for himself all the valley of Jordan, and went to the east, and they were parted from one another.यसर्थ लूतले आफू बस्नको निम्ति यही भूमि रोजे र ती दुइ व्यक्तिहरू छुट्टीए अनि लूतले पूर्वतिर यात्रा शुरू गरे।

12 Abram went on living in the land of Canaan, and Lot went to the lowland towns, moving his tent as far as Sodom.अब्राम कनान भूमिमा रहे भने लूत बेंसीको शहरहरूमाझ बसे। लूत सदोमतिर निकै पर दक्षिणपट्टी गए अनि त्यही आफ्नो पाल बनाए।

13 Now the men of Sodom were evil, and great sinners before the Lord.सदोमका मानिसहरू परमप्रभुको नजरमा अत्यन्तै दुष्ट थिए।

14 And the Lord had said to Abram, after Lot was parted from him, From this place where you are take a look to the north and to the south, to the east and to the west:लूत गएपछि परमप्रभुले अब्रामलाई भन्नुभयो, “आफ्नो वरिपरि हेर, उत्तर, दक्षिण पूर्व, पश्चिमतिर हेर।

15 For all the land which you see I will give to you and to your seed for ever.किनभने म तिमीलाई सम्पूर्ण भूमि दिनेछु जो तिम्रो आफ्नो आउँदो पुस्ताकोलागि हुनेछ अनि यो सदाका लागि तिम्रो भूमि हुनेछ।

16 And I will make your children like the dust of the earth, so that if the dust of the earth may be numbered, then will your children be numbered.म तिम्रो सन्तानहरूलाई पृथ्वीको धूलो जस्तै गन्न नसकिने बनाउनेछु। जसरी पृथ्वीमा धूलो गन्न सकिंदैन अनि त्यसतै प्रकारले तिम्रो सन्तानहरूलाई गन्न सकिने छैन।

17 Come, go through all the land from one end to the other for I will give it to you.यसर्थ अघि बढ, आफ्नो सम्पूर्ण भूमिमा हिंड किनभने मैले यो तँलाईं दिएको छु।”

18 And Abram, moving his tent, came and made his living-place by the holy tree of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and made an altar there to the Lord.यसरी अब्रामले आफ्नो पालहरू हटाए अनि हेब्रोनमा माम्रे फँलाटका रूखहरु भएकहाँ गए। अब्रामले त्यस ठाउँमा परमप्रभुको आराधना गर्नको लागि एउटा वेदी बनाए।
