Exodus 14:16
लाल समुद्रमाथि तिम्रो लाठी उठाऊ अनि समुद्र दुइ भाग हुन्छ, तब मानिसहरू सूखा जमीनमा हिंडेर जानेछन्।

| thine hand | יָֽדְךָ֛ | yādĕkā | ya-deh-HA |
| over | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the sea, | הַיָּ֖ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| divide and | וּבְקָעֵ֑הוּ | ûbĕqāʿēhû | oo-veh-ka-A-hoo |
| it: and the children | וְיָבֹ֧אוּ | wĕyābōʾû | veh-ya-VOH-oo |
| Israel of | בְנֵֽי | bĕnê | veh-NAY |
| shall go | יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| dry on | בְּת֥וֹךְ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| ground through the midst | הַיָּ֖ם | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
| of the sea. | בַּיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃ | bayyabbāšâ | ba-ya-ba-SHA |
