לִשְׂח֖וֹק said lees-HOKE אָמַ֣רְתִּי of ah-MAHR-tee מְהוֹלָ֑ל laughter, meh-hoh-LAHL וּלְשִׂמְחָ֖ה It oo-leh-seem-HA מַה is ma זֹּ֥ה mad: zoh עֹשָֽׂה׃ and oh-SA -
תַּ֣רְתִּי sought TAHR-tee בְלִבִּ֔י in veh-lee-BEE לִמְשׁ֥וֹךְ mine leem-SHOKE בַּיַּ֖יִן heart ba-YA-yeen אֶת to et בְּשָׂרִ֑י give beh-sa-REE וְלִבִּ֞י veh-lee-BEE נֹהֵ֤ג myself noh-HAɡE בַּֽחָכְמָה֙ unto ba-hoke-MA וְלֶאֱחֹ֣ז wine, veh-leh-ay-HOZE בְּסִכְל֔וּת yet beh-seek-LOOT עַ֣ד acquainting ad אֲשֶׁר mine uh-SHER אֶרְאֶ֗ה heart er-EH אֵי with ay זֶ֨ה wisdom; zeh ט֜וֹב and tove לִבְנֵ֤י to leev-NAY הָאָדָם֙ lay ha-ah-DAHM אֲשֶׁ֤ר hold uh-SHER יַעֲשׂוּ֙ on ya-uh-SOO תַּ֣חַת folly, TA-haht הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם till ha-sha-MA-yeem מִסְפַּ֖ר mees-PAHR יְמֵ֥י I yeh-MAY חַיֵּיהֶֽם׃ might ha-yay-HEM -
הִגְדַּ֖לְתִּי made heeɡ-DAHL-tee מַעֲשָׂ֑י me ma-uh-SAI בָּנִ֤יתִי great ba-NEE-tee לִי֙ works; lee בָּתִּ֔ים I boh-TEEM נָטַ֥עְתִּי builded na-TA-tee לִ֖י me lee כְּרָמִֽים׃ houses; keh-ra-MEEM -
עָשִׂ֣יתִי made ah-SEE-tee לִ֔י me lee גַּנּ֖וֹת gardens ɡA-note וּפַרְדֵּסִ֑ים and oo-fahr-day-SEEM וְנָטַ֥עְתִּי orchards, veh-na-TA-tee בָהֶ֖ם and va-HEM עֵ֥ץ I ayts כָּל planted kahl פֶּֽרִי׃ trees PEH-ree -
עָשִׂ֥יתִי made ah-SEE-tee לִ֖י me lee בְּרֵכ֣וֹת pools beh-ray-HOTE מָ֑יִם of MA-yeem לְהַשְׁק֣וֹת water, leh-hahsh-KOTE מֵהֶ֔ם to may-HEM יַ֖עַר water YA-ar צוֹמֵ֥חַ therewith tsoh-MAY-ak עֵצִֽים׃ the ay-TSEEM -
קָנִ֙יתִי֙ got ka-NEE-TEE עֲבָדִ֣ים me uh-va-DEEM וּשְׁפָח֔וֹת servants oo-sheh-fa-HOTE וּבְנֵי and oo-veh-NAY בַ֖יִת maidens, VA-yeet הָ֣יָה and HA-ya לִ֑י had lee גַּ֣ם servants ɡahm מִקְנֶה֩ born meek-NEH בָקָ֨ר in va-KAHR וָצֹ֤אן my va-TSONE הַרְבֵּה֙ house; hahr-BAY הָ֣יָה also HA-ya לִ֔י I lee מִכֹּ֛ל had mee-KOLE שֶֽׁהָי֥וּ great sheh-ha-YOO לְפָנַ֖י possessions leh-fa-NAI בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ of bee-roo-sha-loh-EEM -
כָּנַ֤סְתִּי gathered ka-NAHS-tee לִי֙ me lee גַּם also ɡahm כֶּ֣סֶף silver KEH-sef וְזָהָ֔ב and veh-za-HAHV וּסְגֻלַּ֥ת gold, oo-seh-ɡoo-LAHT מְלָכִ֖ים and meh-la-HEEM וְהַמְּדִינ֑וֹת the veh-ha-meh-dee-NOTE עָשִׂ֨יתִי peculiar ah-SEE-tee לִ֜י treasure lee שָׁרִ֣ים of sha-REEM וְשָׁר֗וֹת kings veh-sha-ROTE וְתַעֲנוּגֹ֛ת and veh-ta-uh-noo-ɡOTE בְּנֵ֥י of beh-NAY הָאָדָ֖ם the ha-ah-DAHM שִׁדָּ֥ה provinces: shee-DA וְשִׁדּֽוֹת׃ I veh-shee-dote -
וְגָדַ֣לְתִּי I veh-ɡa-DAHL-tee וְהוֹסַ֔פְתִּי was veh-hoh-SAHF-tee מִכֹּ֛ל great, mee-KOLE שֶׁהָיָ֥ה and sheh-ha-YA לְפָנַ֖י increased leh-fa-NAI בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם more bee-roo-sha-la-EEM אַ֥ף than af חָכְמָתִ֖י all hoke-ma-TEE עָ֥מְדָה that AH-meh-da לִּֽי׃ were lee -

וּפָנִ֣יתִֽי I oo-fa-NEE-tee אֲנִ֗י looked uh-NEE בְּכָל on beh-HAHL מַעֲשַׂי֙ all ma-uh-SA שֶֽׁעָשׂ֣וּ the sheh-ah-SOO יָדַ֔י works ya-DAI וּבֶֽעָמָ֖ל that oo-veh-ah-MAHL שֶׁעָמַ֣לְתִּי my sheh-ah-MAHL-tee לַעֲשׂ֑וֹת hands la-uh-SOTE וְהִנֵּ֨ה had veh-hee-NAY הַכֹּ֥ל wrought, ha-KOLE הֶ֙בֶל֙ and HEH-VEL וּרְע֣וּת on oo-reh-OOT ר֔וּחַ the ROO-ak וְאֵ֥ין labour veh-ANE יִתְר֖וֹן that yeet-RONE תַּ֥חַת I TA-haht הַשָּֽׁמֶשׁ׃ had ha-SHA-mesh -
וּפָנִ֤יתִֽי I oo-fa-NEE-tee אֲנִי֙ turned uh-NEE לִרְא֣וֹת myself leer-OTE חָכְמָ֔ה to hoke-MA וְהוֹלֵל֖וֹת behold veh-hoh-lay-LOTE וְסִכְל֑וּת wisdom, veh-seek-LOOT כִּ֣י׀ and kee מֶ֣ה madness, meh הָאָדָ֗ם and ha-ah-DAHM שֶׁיָּבוֹא֙ folly: sheh-ya-VOH אַחֲרֵ֣י for ah-huh-RAY הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ what ha-MEH-lek אֵ֥ת can ate אֲשֶׁר the uh-SHER כְּבָ֖ר man keh-VAHR עָשֽׂוּהוּ׃ do ah-SOO-hoo -

הֶֽחָכָם֙ wise heh-ha-HAHM עֵינָ֣יו man's ay-NAV בְּרֹאשׁ֔וֹ eyes beh-roh-SHOH וְהַכְּסִ֖יל are veh-ha-keh-SEEL בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ in ba-HOH-shek הוֹלֵ֑ךְ his hoh-LAKE וְיָדַ֣עְתִּי head; veh-ya-DA-tee גַם but ɡahm אָ֔נִי the AH-nee שֶׁמִּקְרֶ֥ה fool sheh-meek-REH אֶחָ֖ד walketh eh-HAHD יִקְרֶ֥ה in yeek-REH אֶת darkness: et כֻּלָּֽם׃ and koo-LAHM -
וְאָמַ֨רְתִּֽי said veh-ah-MAHR-tee אֲנִ֜י I uh-NEE בְּלִבִּ֗י in beh-lee-BEE כְּמִקְרֵ֤ה my keh-meek-RAY הַכְּסִיל֙ heart, ha-keh-SEEL גַּם As ɡahm אֲנִ֣י it uh-NEE יִקְרֵ֔נִי happeneth yeek-RAY-nee וְלָ֧מָּה to veh-LA-ma חָכַ֛מְתִּי the ha-HAHM-tee אֲנִ֖י fool, uh-NEE אָ֣ז so az יוֹתֵ֑ר it yoh-TARE וְדִבַּ֣רְתִּי happeneth veh-dee-BAHR-tee בְלִבִּ֔י even veh-lee-BEE שֶׁגַּם to sheh-ɡAHM זֶ֖ה me; zeh הָֽבֶל׃ and HA-vel -
כִּי֩ there kee אֵ֨ין is ane זִכְר֧וֹן no zeek-RONE לֶחָכָ֛ם remembrance leh-ha-HAHM עִֽם of eem הַכְּסִ֖יל the ha-keh-SEEL לְעוֹלָ֑ם wise leh-oh-LAHM בְּשֶׁכְּבָ֞ר more beh-sheh-keh-VAHR הַיָּמִ֤ים than ha-ya-MEEM הַבָּאִים֙ of ha-ba-EEM הַכֹּ֣ל the ha-KOLE נִשְׁכָּ֔ח fool neesh-KAHK וְאֵ֛יךְ for veh-AKE יָמ֥וּת ever; ya-MOOT הֶחָכָ֖ם seeing heh-ha-HAHM עִֽם that eem הַכְּסִֽיל׃ which ha-keh-SEEL -
וְשָׂנֵ֙אתִי֙ I veh-sa-NAY-TEE אֶת hated et הַ֣חַיִּ֔ים HA-ha-YEEM כִּ֣י life; kee רַ֤ע because ra עָלַי֙ the ah-LA הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה work ha-ma-uh-SEH שֶׁנַּעֲשָׂ֖ה that sheh-na-uh-SA תַּ֣חַת is TA-haht הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ wrought ha-SHA-mesh כִּֽי under kee הַכֹּ֥ל the ha-KOLE הֶ֖בֶל sun HEH-vel וּרְע֥וּת is oo-reh-OOT רֽוּחַ׃ grievous ROO-ak -
וְשָׂנֵ֤אתִֽי I veh-sa-NAY-tee אֲנִי֙ hated uh-NEE אֶת et כָּל all kahl עֲמָלִ֔י my uh-ma-LEE שֶׁאֲנִ֥י labour sheh-uh-NEE עָמֵ֖ל which ah-MALE תַּ֣חַת I TA-haht הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ had ha-SHA-mesh שֶׁ֣אַנִּיחֶ֔נּוּ taken SHEH-ah-nee-HEH-noo לָאָדָ֖ם under la-ah-DAHM שֶׁיִּהְיֶ֥ה the sheh-yee-YEH אַחֲרָֽי׃ sun: ah-huh-RAI -
